Don't come here if you expect excellent customer service. Apparently, they are only good at providing judgment and discrimination towards their customers. You would think as a business they would make sure their customer service is of high importance but no it's as though its an inconvenience to them. Imagine walking in and being judged on appearance... and than politely asking for a specific seating and being shown the back of the house. Mind you, it's not even busy. How I'm treated also comes into play if I'm going to recommend a restaurant. Can't say much about the food but I'm sure it was as gross as their service! BJ's thankfully is one of the few late night open restaurants in town and we appreciate that, since we tend to eat later a lot of the time. I also know we have been in a worker shortage for a while, however when we come in, 75% of the restaurant is always open and yet we always are told it'll be a 20 minute wait. The last 3 times we have been sat in the back or corner in some of the smallest most uncomfortable tables for 2 when most of the place and booths are open. The front staff never greets in a nice way, or even period sometimes and there have been several times they don't acknowledge and continue a conversation until we have been standing there for a minute. I dislike giving bad reviews but this has been the theme for many times now. Once we get to the table, The servers are normally great. The food has been hit or miss. I miss being able to order just chips and salsa, we have been told that's no longer an option, you have to order guac and they still charged for guac although i only wanted salsa twice now. (Allergy). They do have a few new options that are pretty tasty. We will still come support for the late night option, just wish the service was better. read more

Short on employees, long wait times. Our server Victoria was outright incompetent and rude. She simply didn't care. Hardly any communication. No eye contact, no responses! She literally banged stuff on the table and walked away! She doesn't deserve a job anywhere. Not sure if she's just a reluctant employee here for her paycheck or has any kind of bias towards a few chosen customers based on factors only known to her! Message to management: If you are going to rely on employees like this, I doubt if your reviews here are going to improve at all in spite of having decent food. Service is important! The food is always cold without fail when ordering takeout, they're always late getting it out. No outright bad experience when dining in, but they really need to get it together with their takeout department, which is usually what I tend to get. I came here for dinner in an NFL season kick-off night with a few friends. There was ample seating so we didn't have to wait. Service started out fast however it slowed down significantly after we were greeted. I didn't see the waiter again until 30 minutes after we were seated. This wasn't too much of a bother, because I was with good company and catching up on old times. I ordered the ribs special. I got a half rack of ribs which came with my chose of 2 sides a salads and a mini pizookie for dessert. It was all for around $13. I thought this was a good deal and the food was delicious. While on vacation I accidentally left my rings on the table. The manager here helped me out and she shipped them to me free of charge. Me and my husband enjoy coming to bjs often. The feeling of this location was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went so we got seated right away. Our server was nice although she did forget a few things such as me asking her to bring a side of ranch to go with my meal and extra napkins which was a bit annoying but the food overall was still delicious. The calamari was nice and crispy, my sandwich was good as always although the fries are nothing special and for dessert it was our first time trying the chocolate chunk pizookie and we really enjoyed it! It was nice and hot when it was brought out to us and the ice cream just evens it all out. I definitely recommend this pizookie if it's your first time trying one. Everything was great overall the servers lack of remembering things. read more

Hadn't been to a BJ's in forever, but it was one of the few sit down spots open after 9pm in the area and we were hungry after a long day of work and travel. We had to wait just a couple of minutes because they were getting a big influx of guest - seems like some sort of dance show had just let out. Gary was our server and even though my favorite pasta has been discontinued (RIP blackened chicken pasta) and they were out of my second choice item (turkey burger) Gary had a great attitude and solid recommendations and solutions to keep the night on track. I ended up getting the half rack rib special with a beer that he recommended to pair and of course everyone was more than happy to share my pizooki. We've been loyalty members and have been coming to this restaurant since they opened and tonight the experience was horrible. The food didn't taste good. My soup was over seasoned. An appetizer plate sat on our table all night and was never removed when we were served our main entree. Usually I can handle a dirty plate on our table but it was the remainder of the experience that just topped off the night. The chopped tomato on my husband's pizza tasted and smelled like it was chopped on a cutting board with raw fish. It's a very strong smell of fish and definitely recognizable. We placed a to go order and encountered very rude staff with the pickup on our way out. For no reason at all, just rude. It was a huge disappointment. The place has really gone down hill. read more

We were seated after only a few minutes & I appreciated that they had half of the 2-top center section closed to reduce germ-spread! Server was new but did a pretty great job getting food & drinks out. Bar was a little slow for how many tables were filled... but food was great & dessert was devoured! I'll definitely be back! We wanted to try some deep dish pizza, usually we always like Brooklyn or any thin crust, so we placed online order to go for half and half, half vegetarian and half buffalo chicken. Buffalo chicken was ok, but vegetarian was too salty, don't know it was olives or cheese but we couldn't eat that much salty so gave up, and finished buffalo chicken part. So 2stars for buffalo chicken pizza, for vegetarian negative star, and my review is only for pizza as we haven't tried any other items or we haven't dine in. read more

This is about service. I am not sure why they have a to-go section for faster service. I stood at the podium for 10 minutes before being assisted. It took 40 minutes for my order to be completed. Employees saw me waiting and did not engage. There were less than 5 people in the restaurant. Employees were taking amongst themselves. No matter how good or bad the food is, service matters. Had a bit of a desperate feeling in the air, disconnect, I ordered the salmon with broccoli and wild rice with ( A type of cheese sauce) that tasted like plastic disgusting. The food was decent, but our issues were with service. When we arrived, we were told it would be around 30 minutes. After 35 minutes, I asked when we may be seated. We were told at that point it would be another 20. After 50 total minutes of waiting, we were seated. Our waitress forgot we had ordered an appetizer and, later when our food arrived, my wife's salad was forgotten. Instead of asking if we still wanted it, she said "don't worry about it" and just removed it from our order. Drinks and other requests were slow to come as well. The hostess and waitress really seemed indifferent to us being there and didn't offer any "hey sorry about the wait/issue with your order". My husband used the app and reserved our place on line. We showed up and were seated quickly. I had the bacon guacamole deluxe burger with a veggie patty. It came with fries. My husband had the crispy jalapeno burger. The veggie patty was very soft. The burger was ok but lacked texture as everything - except the bacon - was soft. My husband liked his burger. We both liked the fries as they were nice and crispy. We both had the sangria flight which, also, was good. Service however was lacking. Both our table and another were looking for her. She came out and was moving quickly past the other table who just managed to catch her attention. We barely caught her attention when she went flying past us in order to get our check. If we go again, we'll sit at the bar and hopefully get better service. read more

Most food here is good. The mixed drinks and salads are excellent. The burgers are incredibly bland. The Pizookies have the texture of sand and taste like pure granulated sugar, so stay away from those. Sometimes there is a line and it's fairly loud inside but not too bad. read more
