The chicken came with the dry rub which is very salty, i need to shake the salt off before i eat it.. but it is tasty and crispy outside. First time on a go order for prime rib, when I got home the Prime Rib was Medium Rare as ordered but looked like an ordinary steak the meat was a dark brown on the exterior as if it were cold and been reheated. I also had no au jus or horseradish to go with it so it turned out to be a little bland. I ordered a house salad and got a Caesar Salad instead. The rest of the meal was great with plenty to eat and portions were good. My husband and I took our 4 daughters to BJ's Brewhouse for dinner one night because, we were out. It's really a neat environment. We started with a couple of appetizers. We got the Wisconsin cheese curds. They were topped with parmesan cheese, with a side of ranch. They were super cheesy and delicious. We also got the housemade guacamole, fire roasted salsa, and chip platter. The guacamole was really good. It was creamy, yet had big chunks of avocado, and topped with pico. Our youngest got mini corn dogs, with a side of fruit. She loved them. They had a crunchy outside, a soft, fluffy inside. The side of fruit had a disappointing amount though. My oldest got the soup and salad combo. She decided on the chicken tortilla soup. The bowl was huge. The soup was loaded with huge shreds of chicken, corn, and red peppers. It was topped with a heaping pile of avocado, cilantro, tortilla strips, and cheddar and jack cheeses. She also loved it. The broth was nice and bold. The salad was also gigantic. It was filled over the top with field greens, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, parmesan, and crunchy oven baked croutons. One of my middle daughters wanted the bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. It had such a thick, creamy cheese soup base, loaded with broccoli pieces, then topped with tons of cheddar and jack cheese, and sprinkled with parsley. She also loved her's. It was so big, that she could only eat half, and brought the rest home. My other daughter got the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was a monster! It was topped with apple wood bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, BJ'S burger sauce, and had a buttery parker house bun. She also took half of her's home. I decided on the Tuscan tomato bisque. It was an uber creamy tomato. It was topped with the oven baked croutons, and a sprinkle of parsley. I really enjoyed the flavor. It was robust. I also got a side of the white cheddar mashed potatoes. It was a bit underwhelming. They were way too stiff, to the point I had to bring them home and add quite a bit of milk and butter. My husband got the 24oz prime rib special, that he actually split with our oldest and one middle daughter. He said it was super juicy and well cooked. He got a side of asparagus. They were actually not good. They were stringy, and super thin. To take home, we ordered a salted caramel pizookie. It was a warmed caramel cookie, with pretzel pieces, Ghirardelli white and dark chips, topped with vanilla bean ice cream, and caramel sauce. We weren't impressed. The cookie was actually super crunchy and thin. I definitely wouldn't order that again. Service was also lacking. Our waitress Gabrielle is an absolute sweetheart. She's sure to get everything exactly right. They have tons of vegetarian options. They have lighter options hop to heart attack meals. There's just about anything anyone could want. My salad was heavenly and the fried artichoke hearts were crisp and tasty. The mozzerella cheese sticks are crisp tasty and plentiful. We have been to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse several times now, and I have to admit. The first 2 times we went there, I would have given it a 5 star rating. However, our visit today left us questioning initial thoughts. Ultimately, the food was incredible! As always! It was the service that dropped this score so low. We walked right in and immediately was seated, in a full house. We then waited for 15 minutes for our waiter to even greet us or ask for drinks. We went ahead and gave her all of our orders and appetizers upon her first arrival. We finally received our drinks after being seated for over 25 minutes, then our appetizers over 50 minutes, and finally our food over an hour and a half. AGAIN...our food was incredible! Our waiter consistently seemed to be rushing off anytime she came to our table, one time even walking off as I was answering one of her questions. Almost appearing as if we were troubling her. Finally we order our deserts to go, and we order the trio pizzokies. One of them was gluten-free for my mother in law. She brought out the final order and we asked which was the gluten free and she did not know. Nor bothered to try and help us find which was which. She handed us the bill and walked off. She was like this the entire time upon our arrival and almost came off as rude but we just assumed it was because she was busy. I was in town for a running event and needed to pick up a quick dinner before checking in to my hotel. I had checked online beforehand and noticed a BJ's close by and found a decent sounding meal that I wanted. So I called for an order to be picked up on a Saturday evening, and was told the wait would be 20 minutes. That's not too bad, I thought, so I headed over around that time. Then I waited at the to-go counter. After standing there for five minutes, three employees busted through the door between the counter and kitchen. None of them greeted me, or asked if I had been helped. They had to attend to something obviously more important than a customer. When one of them finally asked me if I needed help, I told them about my order and paid my bill. But my meal (a chicken quinoa bowl) was not ready. It was finally ready about 35 minutes after I called, 15 minutes longer than what I had been told to expect. The chicken quinoa bowl was actually quite good, which is the only redeeming thing about my experience at BJ's. The incredibly slow and poor service is why I will never go back. Honestly, if I had been told "sorry for the wait" or some sort of apology even once, I would be able to look past the long wait. read more

So we finally tried this place. Not sure on some of the 3 star reviews but I give a solid 4 the food was great the atmosphere was very open and not that noisy. I had the brisket bacon burger with chilli as my side and everything tasted awesome. I like that the place has casual feel but still romantic and the seating is spread apart so your not all cramped together like most places. Great service, great noms. Very pleased with our experiences here. We've always been treated well and seated quickly. During busy or slow times, service has been consistently great. Drinks and food have always been reliably delicious and served quickly. The wait staff has been helpful, as well, when we've had questions. Management has also been friendly and constantly moving around to address patrons. Personal favorite: mushroom appetizers, garlic knots...and their burgers, of course. Delicious, juicy, and thick. I love this place. Their menu has something for everyone - the health conscious, those looking to be gluttons, and even something for the middle of the road folks. I've never had a meal here where I wasn't happy with my food. The decor is nice, and well suit for an intimate date or for large groups. There's also a bar if you are just interested in having a quick drink. This trip I just had a Baked Beignet and it was so delicious. I'm writing this review based on my experience last night. Most nights we get good service but seemed like a new staff tonight. Ordered a Nit Wit beer, their most awarded beer. This was the worst beer I have ever had. First part of the flavor was good but it had an awful bite at the end. Luckily the manager came over, understood and brought me another beer on the house. The Hefeweizen was decent. The waitress was awfully slow, we asked for lemons and it took 30 mins to get them. I ordered their new pizza, Cajun deep dish. Waitress stated it had chicken, andouille sausage, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and Cajun spices. I requested no onions. The pizza came out and it had onions and I never found a piece of chicken on it! Cajun food is supposed to have a good kick to it. This was the most bland pizza I've ever had. There was no flavor, even the andouille was tasteless. I ate two slices just to eat it cause I was hungry. Very disappointed in the service at BJs today. We have been displeased for a while. We used to like the place but not anymore. Today was the last draw. We won't be back. The server kept taking our plates and cups before we had cleared them. She took the ketchup away when we still had a plate full of French fries. I asked for extra napkins and she said they don't have paper napkins, only cloth. Is that an environmental thing? Well I'm all for that but they still have plastic straws. Came here for a happy hour and I have to say the prices are "okay" for a happy hour. The beers seemed to be at a decent price but the food was still fairly expensive in my opinion. I opted to order the Crispy Jalapeño Burger. I have to say the burger itself was pretty good, they cooked it medium and everything was crispy, nice bread and everything. The fries weren't good at all. The fries were hard and didn't have the best type of flavor, I've tried fries all over the place and I would not recommended these. Another person I was with ordered the mozzarella sticks and was not impressed, so I would suggest staying away from those. BJs menu is huge, so if you're not sure what you're in the mood for, this is definitely the place to go. I would say the facilities were pretty clean, the staff was friendly, and service is okay. The atmosphere would be good for a group of friends on a weekend, I wouldn't suggest it for a romantic date, but it would be great for a casual dinner if that's what you're looking to have. Also, the avocado egg rolls are delish. Finally, the servers are friendly. On the bad side, service is always slow, no matter how busy the place is. Also, the food tends to be hit or miss. On my most recent visit, my salad was served with wet greens, which was totally disgusting. Prices are too high, but once you see the interior you will understand why. Our first time trying a stand alone BJs restaurant..and I gotta say we were pretty impressed overall. The parking lot was completely full, so we expected a wait, but surprisingly we were seated right away. The food here is just as good as other locations..with my favorite dish still remaining the buffallo chicken grilled cheese. My girlfriend ordered the chicken strips, the order came with so many chicken strips it was crazy. Not sure if it was a normal order or they just gave her extra this time, but it was well worth the menu price, and they were delicious to top it all off. I've gotten BJ's to go before but this was our first time in the actual restaurant. It was a pretty busy night. I ordered the Southern Comfort Chicken Sandwich and my husband ordered he Hickory Brisket and Bacon Burger. We ordered different drinks and both of the sodas were gross and they needed to be replaced and my husbands had to be replaced more than once because our server got his drink order wrong. My husband ordered his burger with no cheese and it came with cheese on it so we had to send it back to get a new one, which took a long time to come back. I ordered a S'mores pizookie for dessert but asked for it to go because I can never finish it and love it the next day too. I have ordered this pizookie so many times and what they gave me was nothing like what I usually get. The cookie was way underdone and the marshmallows on it were burnt to a crisp and was disgusting so I asked for a new one to go because I wasn't going to eat it. 20 minutes later it came and was not to go and was not any better looking and tasting than the previous one so I asked for a to go container because I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement. When I mentioned it to the server she said "oh we have new people back there." I don't understand why that mattered? If they were trained right they should've gotten it correct? I saw her go to the manager and point over to our table and it looked like he started walking over to our table and then hurried away and never came over. It was an overall pretty bad experience service wise and even though our dinner was pretty good we probably won't return here anytime soon. read more

Had lunch today' August 7, 2020. Ordered flat bread pizza, it was very good. My son had the bacon cheeseburger and it looked excellent and he said it tasted excellent. I asked our waitress Allison what she could recommend for me and she suggested the Jambalaya. It was an perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. Service was also excellent. Only problem no domestic beer on tap, like Miller Lite or Budweiser. BJ's should fire the idiot manager for not carrying the types of beers Babyboomers enjoy, we both just had water.
