Grilled Rueben

Who would ever guess it! Attended a Culinary dinner at Stringtown bar and Grill last night which was prepared by owner Chef Potter and it was absolutely amazing! Heard about it from some friends, made reservations and so glad we went! Perfect from the barbecue shrimp/risotto appetizer, mouth watering leg of lamb entree and pumpkin mousse carrot cake! Unbelievable for the price!! Dinner was served in a charming private room next to the bar where karaoke started about the time dinner was over. We stopped into the main bar and had a beer afterwards, listened to some really good singers which was also a pleasant surprise! What a nice evening! Count us in for the next culinary dinner!

My family and I just happen to stumble bothers place accidentally when looking at the mural that they have painted outside. So we went in and it was lunchtime and there were three guys sitting at the bar in my waitress was outside so I just sat down somewhere my family went to the restroom they came back and she walked over and we ordered our drinks and she brought us menus. The place was dead and still have plates and things from breakfast crowd just chilling on the tables which was fine they never did come get them while we were there but nobody else came in while we were there either. This is definitely a bar that has music and drinks and things like that at night and they have food in the afternoon so I like places like this but I can see why it has a lot Of negative reviews because you know it's not the most fancy die in establishment the waitress was not nice to us I would say I mean she was OK but she didn't really pay as much attention I had to get up and get my own water and get my wife a Diet Coke and the other with a whole lot of interaction there she was outside smoking and things like that which none of that bothers me at all but I can see why this has a lot of negative reviews. But the place was cool on the inside I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and the music they were playing was rock classics which I liked. I got a turkey club and it was fantastic very flavorful and awesome tasting. My wife and oldest daughter got burgers and they both gave them 5 out of 5 and my youngest got a pancake and she loved it. The food was fantastic five out of five especially for lunch and I hit the spot and we enjoyed it a lot the atmosphere at the place was cool no reason why I'm giving us for I guess is because we really kind of waited on ourselves yeah there wasn't any kind of friendly thank you you're welcome home hello my name is none of that stuff which is fine that's whatever to bar but for sure is great food

We ordered a combo platter to share for lunch I was disappointed with size and contents for money we got 3 mozzarella sticks 3 onion rings 2 chicken tenders and 2 fried pickles for $13.00. Only the mozzarella sticks came with a sauce everything else was left to be eaten dry. I also ordered the French onion soup and I was not a fan. Is shame it's a cool building I was excited to try this place but in end was disappointed maybe we ordered wrong. My husband did enjoy his side salad and the chicken tenders

Went here with my father in law & my 17 year old son. I liked it. Had the country fried steak special.

Had lunch and a beer with a friend here. Food was good, beer was normal, I'd go back. Nothing special though.

I ordered the Cali burger and instead of fries I got a Ceasar salad. The flavor of the burger was delicious (I added jalapeños) I really liked the Ceasar especially adding lemon to it (they add lemon wedge something i forgot to ask for) so it was great That flaky, buttery, delicious croissant was EVERYTHING! 10/10 I will be ordering more from here

It came with a couple of sides which I got baked potato and bowl of potato soup. The soup and potato were awesome and the chicken fingers definitely were good one's with lots of flavour in the chicken and dipping sauce was decent. The service was impeccable as always here with our waiter who we've had many times being soooo good. The restaurant looked awesome and had the the awesome aroma of smoked meats in the air which is definitely part of the experience. And of course don't forget to get some of their Honey Butter Croissants which is some of the best bread on the planet. All in all an outstanding meal and I can't recommend Rafferty's enough. It's awesome.

Fort Mitchell Public House Bar and Grill checks all of my boxes. The first thing I look for is a nice patio. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating today, but I will be back for this fabulous patio. I was there before the dinner rush, which explains the emptiness of the restaurant. More people started arriving after 5:00. There were so many yummy sounding choices on the menu that it was hard to decide. I asked my server, Erin, what she recommends and she said the CAJUN BOURBON FILET TIPS were her favorite. I went with that and was not disappointed. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. It is served over mashed potatoes and topped with onion straws. While the beef portion was small, it was a satisfying meal and the flavors were perfection! I added a side Caesar salad. Their house-made croutons were so good and the dressing was tasty and perfectly portioned. I don't often order dessert, but decided to splurge tonight and got a slice of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go. OMG, this is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It was light and dense at the same time, if that makes sense. So creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. I will dream about it tonight LOL.

We should have just left at that point but our kids were hungry. Dinner was finally served and it was good, but no one seemed very concerned about how long we waited. We asked for our check and then we were given the wrong, much more expensive check. I'm not sure if they were understaffed but the restaurant was only half full when we arrived. I wish we hadn't dropped $90 on this dinner.

You enter a classy foyer to be greeted by a well dressed hostess. There are multiple beautifully appointed dining rooms. Greyhounds abound in the decor. We split a chicken salad croissant sandwich and a Reuben on rye. Both were amazingly delicious and even the coleslaw was memorable. They were packaged up so nicely, including the requested utensils (we were staying in a hotel) and handed off to me in a big sturdy shopping bag. There's a big private parking lot and a small outdoor seating area. The exterior is gorgeous too. Next time we find ourselves in NKY I am definitely making reservations here!

We were seated in a booth in a quietish room and it was lovely - we could hear each other and see other spots but it was a bit like being in our own little world. The food was great. I had the Alaskan halibut with crab and creamy risotto and I loved it. My husband had the pecan-crusted chicken. We both had salads, and I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. I thought we were going to rent a U-Haul for that piece of cheesecake. It was about 1/4 of a big cake. It was good...not my favorite carrot cake, but good. Lovely experience and will definitely come back - so much better than the chains everywhere in Crestview Hills area.

He brought us a menu and excitedly described the lunch options. Once we made our decisions, he brought us hot Chai tea to sip while we waited for our food. My sister ordered the lamb shank while I ordered the chicken stew. Both dishes came with basmati rice (that was brown with spices and flavor) and a salad. We thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious food. The meat fell off the bone of her lamb shank and my chicken stew was beyond delectable. At the time of this review (March 2025), the restaurant had only been in operation for about 4-5 months. So, the minimal decorations and decor are probably because the restaurant is so new. I'm sure the owners will make the place look a little nicer once they are able sustain and stay in business. Because the food was so tasty, I didn't remove one star for lack of good decor. We enjoyed our meals so much that we plan to return when we are in the area.

It was seasoned with spices so it was fragrant and flavorful. Service- They were quick and friendly. No frills. Locale- This place is a no frills hole in the wall. It looks thrown together and empty. Don't expect lavish decoration or upscale furniture. However, what you can expect is a place that is loved by the community and they have a closed off section for prayer (for my Muslim friends) they are kind and welcoming. I would 100% come visit again. Price- it's a little pricey but on average with the local market and $18 for the amount of food I got is good.
