I really like the atmosphere in there. The music wasn't too loud, which is good. I really like their weekday deals and weekend deals. They have unlimited salads and soups. Even though it's busy on Friday, they still have good services.

Saturday 2May, 2026 3:30 pm. Spectrum Drive Frederick Maryland! Our Waiter was nice... I honestly want to believe he tried his best, so we did offer a 20% tip anyway! The Environment Good! However , The Food was questionable! In fact I feel nauseous after settling 4 hrs at home... Below, are pictures, and a receipt-- that definitely does a great job as witness!! I'm very disappointed with my recent dining experience at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. I ordered the Spicy Pig Pizza and specifically requested, no ham and the jalapeños on the side. What I received looked nothing like the menu photo. The pizza resembled more of a thin, overcooked tortilla than an actual pizza. The cheese was burnt, the toppings were sparse and lacked flavor, and overall it was far below what I expected--especially for a $21.99 dish. Presentation and quality matter, and this felt misleading compared to how the item is advertised. I'm not one to complain often, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be addressed. I would appreciate someone looking into this and making it right. Oh myyy! Why is this happening?

To go ordered for Rib-Eye, asked for medium rare. It was very done. Paid $40 for this order, so disappointed.

Placed a go to order for a rib-eye to be cooked as medium rare, but it was ver done. We paid about $40 this dish. It was worth it.

Tuesday 3/5/2024 My opinion hasn't changed much but I did try some new items on my recent visit. Also I had to get my free annual birthday pizookie from them (always appreciated) and go for the 5$ pizookie Tuesdays. We got the 10 ct bacon jam bone-in wings $18, half - half deep dish pizza (half gourmet 5 meat & half great white) $35, and multiple $5 pizookies: cinnamon roll, chocolate chunk, Oreo creme, brownie sundae. I had high expectations trying the deep dish pizza for the first time and it was disappointing, I don't think it's worthy of the $35 to be that MID. The bacon jam wings and the strawberry lemonade are both pretty good. The pizookies are still the best item that they serve with my favorites being the Oreo creme, brownie sundae, monkey bread (sadly gone), and the cinnamon roll (sadly gone). The chocolate chunk pizookie was solid but it doesn't compare to my favorite pizookies. If I had 3 tiers to rank all the items I've had across the years it'd be: Tier 1: pizookies (Oreo creme-cinnamon roll-monkey bread-brownie sundae), bacon Jam wings, strawberry lemonade Tier 2: tri tip & baby back ribs, ribs Tier 3: prime rib, couscous Mac n cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, grilled chicken Alfredo, burger sliders All in all, the food is still mid to me EXCEPT for the bacon jam wings, strawberry lemonade, and of course the great pizookies which are the highlights for me.

We came to BJ's for a late lunch at approximately 3 PM, we were immediately greeted by friendly hostess and seated. Our server Angel, was very friendly professional, and even adjust us as friends! Service was top notch and the food was great!

This was so bad I felt sick and lost my appetite. And the burgers were so round and burnt we played hockey with the pattys. forgot my Caesar salad and still charged me. Everyone at my table sent their food back. The salmon tasted like you dumped four bottles of salt on it. I asked for a steak and fries. Nothing on it and they still put barbecue sauce on it. Steak was overcooked.

They sat us all the way in the back where no one else was sat. It was a totally different room to everyone else, which I thought was super weird . The service was beyond slow and the food was just absolutely horrible. Everything was super dry and just did not look appealing at all what's so ever. Tri tip with chicken , grilled asparagus and a loaded baked potato is what's pictured. This is how it looked when it came out...... no where near medium rare. Super tough and could hardly cut through the Tri tip that was brought out to us. We also got the grilled salmon which wasn't much better, had this nasty tasting cream sauce that it came with. $83 later for two entrees and an appetizer is beyond crazy for the quality of food that came out. We ended up just paying our bill and leaving. Not worth the hassle at that point. Absolutely no intentions of ever going back after the quality of food and service we received.

Visited for Happy hour (M-F 3-6). They have pretty good deals for foods and drinks. I ordered mini pizza and avocado egg rolls ($7 each during HH). There are always daily deals going on, Monday is half pizza day! Nice and large bar, great selection of draft beer. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Would like to visit again!

Food was good service was interesting. Ambiance was standard BJ's mood lighting, pretty lights at the bar, and the bathroom was clean. The downside was the attention to detail aspects, dust/grime around the dining tables, you could only rely on your specific server, etc. Other staff members would make eye contact and then quickly put their head down. Not sure why that's a thing now but it is what it is. We ordered a deep dish chicken bacon ranch pizza, wings, and brussel sprouts. Pro tip thanks to our server get extra sauce for the brussel sprouts. I'm happy they still have their berry cider (if you like sweet this is the one to go with!). My partner got the mule and that was good too.

The linguini in the seafood linguine was cooked soft so it's good for little kids, but if you would like it more al dente, you'll probably have to let them know. We found this restaurant after using Google Gemini…read moreto find "Authentic German Food" when we arrived in the parking lot, we saw the chefs sitting outside taking a breather next to where we'd parked, but thought nothing of it at first. It was our first year of dating anniversary but we failed to notice when looking the place up that they closed at 7:30pm. We walked in at about 7:40pm and the bartender regretfully informed us that they had just closed. We accepted the situation for the error it was on our part and opted to go elsewhere. So barely 3 minutes after walking up to the entrance, we were heading back to our truck. The chefs were still there and immediately asked us why we weren't staying to eat. When we explained that we hadn't realized they closed at 7:30, they looked at us and said, "Go back in there and tell them we said we're still open for you guys." We were a bit concerned that we'd cause hard feelings and said we could just come back a different day, and they wouldn't have it. "We're the guys who'll be cooking, not them, if we're okay with it, then what have you got to lose?" We looked at each other and thought briefly and headed back up to the entrance. I had mentioned that I had a spur of the moment 'hankerin' for German Food, and he said, "Well, you're at the right place!" Before we got back in the front door, one of the chefs (we learned shortly after were the owners) was already letting the bar staff know to get us seated and taken care of. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu, and I ordered the Pork Schnitzel. We of course sampled each others' dishes and it was beyond amazing on both entrees. Some of the best schnitzel I've had NOT in Europe, and the mushroom onion gravy was so savory and rich. The Chicken was loaded with flavor and I could definitely see that being on a future order for myself. After we were beyond stuffed, we decided to split a dessert for the occasion and had the Chocolate Mousse Cake. When the bartender learned it was our first anniversary, she made sure to get a candle to put in the cake for us, it was a very nice and welcoming touch. The bar staff was on their game with the service, keeping drinks full and checking on us frequently to make sure we were good to go. There were only two other tables still seated in the restaurant at that point, and they were actually there already eating when we first arrived. They were still there when we departed, so we assumed they may have been family friends or locally important patrons. The ambiance of the restaurant has a very British Pub feel to it, and it is so amazingly cozy and feels like home. We both left with an amazing impression and cannot wait for another chance to try some of the other menu options. I'm very curious to try the Filet Mignon next time, but the Stroganoff looked quite tempting as well. I think we both found a place that we'll absolutely keep on the short list of places to revisit next time we're in town. It was such a memorable experience and we so greatly appreciated the flexibility and hospitality they demonstrated. That type of service is so hard to find these days. Beyond that, I REALLY want to try those Eclairs on a Thursday!

Great food and service. Broiled haddock was prepared to perfection. The rum raisin bread pudding was the best I've ever tasted.
