We have been coming here every few weeks and never had a problem until last night, was seated and order was taken, wedge salads arrived and mine was ordered no blue cheese at all and put ranch on it, well it arrived and was covered in blue cheese, the first utensils the knife was dirty so I used 2 forks to cut into the wedge salad to find it was covered in blue cheese dressing, took the server 10 to 15 minutes to come back to the table and he said sorry and will fix it , 15 minutes a new wedge salad shows up and he brings new silverware (pictured) and walked away, took another 15 minutes to get another server to get the manager ( server says they have seen dirty silverware all night) manager brought clean silverware, prime rib that was ordered medium rare showed up 45 minutes later very well done almost to the point of being burnt , ate part of it and paid the tab and left, don't think I will ever be back here read more

Took my Granddaughter to dinner. Granddaughter had a pepperoni pizza with a rootbeer float. Just loved it. I just picked a bunch of items off their wide range menu. Salmon was cooked perfect. We also had a great server named ANDRE a very top notch server didn't have to wait or ask for more drink or water he was there on cue. Bartender/server Lindsay B. is what has kept me returning regularly to BJ's since my first visit years ago. Her level of service is unmatched! She's welcoming, friendly and fun, and seems to enjoy our group of regular bar counter diners as much as we enjoy her. Our dining with Lindsay at the bar counter is a very social and fun time for us. She makes sure our orders are perfect, and knows our dining idiosyncrasies. I enjoy BJ's food also, but Lindsay is the real draw! read more

A friend and I came here for lunch today. I ordered the Prime Rib dip, and my friend ordered a half rack with 2 sides. My prime rib dip was cooked perfectly, and had enough au jus for the whole sandwich (seems to be a rare thing at most restaurants). My friend got tri-tip instead of ribs, but they generously provided the ribs, telling my friend he could also keep the tri-tip. Our server, Michael, was very attentive even though it was a bit busy. He was very friendly with all the customers, serving with a friendly smile. He's an excellent example of how to provide great service! The restaurant was very clean, even the bathroom! Me & my family go to BJ's all the time & have always enjoyed the variety of the menu until 11/30/24 for dinner around 5:30, the place was packed I ordered Ahi Tuna salad which had stale tuna & soggy arugula took just one bite, my son ordered a burger which was overcooked & very few fries, my wife's chicken sandwich was cold & dry, no silverware had to ask waitress?.....none of us finished our meal, I told the waitress to let the manager know...very poor quality I hope this was a one off? While I was waiting for my order, which took almost 50 minutes, the girl who was supposed to be helping me out was very rude and seemed annoyed that I was asking about my food when she had told me it would be about 15 minutes. 40 minutes for an entree and an appetizer is just crazy!! After the third time I asked, She rudely told me that it would be 10 more minutes when she had initially said 15 minutes 30 minutes prior. She rolled her eyes and stormed out of the door afterwards to step outside to be on her phone AGAIN! After that, I didn't even want to speak with her anymore. A small group of us decided to get drinks after work & decided to come here. BIG MISTAKE. The server seemed extremely stressed and overwhelmed- never once seen a smile. We were being cool and understanding, but he continued to seem annoyed at our every request. I am a big tipper, but only left 10% (and that was me being generous) but if he would have been a little more friendly and attentive- we would have spent more money and left a bigger tip. For being Covid times, i understand the table seating is limited but the service... that's was so slow. The check in process needed to be fixed, people who came in after us were sat before us, and we were only a group of 3. i ordered the sliders with fries and got plain burgers, missing the lettuce, the onions and the pickles. we ended up spending 75 bucks, and were happy to see that they offered a military discount. Maybe they were having an off night... Drinks didn't come until we finished the appetizer and our clam chowder. The Clam chowder was fair with good sized clam pieces throughout. My lavender lemonade was heavy on the lemon... it was a pretty color though. My husband had a Long Island tea that in his words was lacking and more like a short island . I will leave the appetizer alone. I didn't eat any since I was saving my tummy room. I will say the quality of the food was good. The prime rib was good and cooked as requested. And portion was good as well. However they forgot the Aju sauce and horseradish. We had to ask for some. The horseradish was creamy but lacked the punch horseradish should have. The Aju was on the sweet side. The entree came with Asparagus. The Asparagus was tiny and dry. I didn't eat much asparagus. The loaded potatoes were good and fresh. But the cheese on the top was not melted. The bacon was fresh as well. Then came the Pazookie. Mine was a fresh warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream. My husband had the brownie Pazookie with vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate syrup drizzled over the too. We saw mine and we both started laughing my husband says "Ha they forgot your syrup". I said "what the!?" Still laughing. Truthfully it was still good. Just missing that little extra. My husband and I don't go out a lot and like to try different places. I got the slow roasted sirloin. Told them I'd like it medium. I always tell restaurants medium, because sometimes they undercook it and I also like it medium rare. I can't even say that this steak was well done. It's like they resurrected this cow, let it go play in oncoming traffic, then put the poor thing in a dehydrator. Steak wasn't edible at all. Then my mom ordered their chicken parmesan. It literally looked like leftovers left in your fridge for a week, just reheated. My mom gave it a chance, took one bite, and couldn't eat the rest because it was so bad. Our waitress was really bad. It took her 20 minutes after we were seated to even come ask what drinks we would like. I could see if the place was busy, BUT IT WASN'T. AND she only had a few tables in her section. This wasn't a very good experience at all and I definitely don't want to go back anytime soon. The manager did offer to remake the dishes, but we were so over it at that point that we declined. If you are expecting anything else from a chain restaurant you're probably setting expectations to high. However, we ordered ribs, average, ahi tuna tacos- below average, salmon with rice and broccoli, also average because salmon was a little over cooked and bland, burger was good because jt had pickled onions, and one kids meal which was a good portion with a side and drink included. The server was great, she checked in often and was friendly. The food overall was a little slow coming out- probably like 30 mins from the time we ordered. My assessment is what it is. Yet given my experience, this is my perception of what I observed and occurred. I ordered a single cocktail and NEVER asked for anything else I.e., double. The server up to the incident was legit and trust worthy. I didn't see him for a minute, and was proactive in asking the bartender for the same cocktail. She asked if it was a double. I said "no I don't think so. But make the next one so (double).". I saw them huddling and then when the drink came I made sure to confirm the server didn't provide me with a double on the first. What was disheartening is that he attempted to validate the conspiracy cooked up by the bartender! I clarified and confirmed that he and I hadn't spoken of that in the first transaction. I am disappointed yet hopeful that the staff can present honest and truthful customer orders given. Be they drink or food. Other than that the food, presentation, and mood were good! She was talking so fast and rambling off stuff, didn't want to take the time to tell me the specials or drinks at all. So just unfriendly, period. I asked for a different waitress and manager, Nick came over to appease me, which he was very nice. We got a new waiter and he was nice, the food was decent enough and we enjoyed our time. So we are getting ready to leave and this woman who was waiting on us was giving side glances at me and smiling all weird. It was very creepy. Do women understand how weird and creepy that is when you don't even know a person? She was so out of touch and shouldn't be serving people. Weirdo.
