For an appetizer we had Potato Skins with $5 Margaritas. The skins were good and so was the margaritas. We also ordered 2 kids meal steaks, a porterhouse, and a pulled pork sandwich. Sorry I forgot to take photos of the entrees we were starving and I didn't realize till I started writing this review lol . All the food came in a timely manner and served hot. I've always been a fan of Texas Roadhouse and only wish they had a location closer to Orange County! Of course, I had to start with their famous warm bread and cinnamon butter. It was so addictive that I probably ate more than I should have before my entrée even arrived. I accidentally ordered the prime rib when I had originally wanted the ribeye, but it turned out to be a happy mistake. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portions here are definitely generous. The sides were massive, though they were a bit too salty for my taste, so I wasn't able to finish them. What really stood out was the service. Our waiter was fantastic and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Before our drinks were even close to empty, he was already bringing fresh refills of water, Coke, and root beer. That level of attentiveness definitely elevated the experience. Even around 9 PM, the restaurant was packed and buzzing with energy. When you're working in a bar, interacting with people is literally part of the job. so I'm just shocked that the bartender Tori was so cold and clearly didn't want to be there! The drinks themselves were nothing special and definitely not worth dealing with the attitude that came with them. Overall it was a really disappointing experience and not the kind of environment I'd want to come back to. We did takeout from Texas Roadhouse on Semoran last night around 7pm and had a great experience. We ordered the family burger meal, which comes with four burgers with all the toppings, sides of fries, and a family-sized salad. This meal definitely fills the whole family up and is a great value for the amount of food you get. Since it was takeout, we stayed in the car and the host came out to bring us our order. Texas Roadhouse has been my place to go when I am in the mood for some steak without having to pay big steakhouse prices! I recently stopped by this location for dinner the other night since I was around the area. The location had a good amount of parking within its own parking lot for easy access. The decor on the inside was of course the company's nostalgic decor...very country and backyard bbq vibes! Upon entering, we were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server was absolutely fantastic. She was very attentive and was very knowledgeable of the menu! For drinks, I order their famous $5 margarita. The drink tasted mostly like margarita mix but hey...for that price can't beat it! For food I ordered the sirloin steak w/ a loaded baked potato and chili. I would say the flavor was good but.. I ordered a medium temperature steak and it came very well done... which made it really dry. Overall...Texas Roadhouse is just one of those places you go to and sorta know what to expect. The Review: I had not been to Texas Roadhouse in a while and normally I'll order along the lines of chicken or a sandwich but this evening I went with a steak. It was cooked to perfection without need for added sauce, definitely meeting the expectations that come with a steakhouse, and the chain. The cinnamon butter biscuits were fantastic and I enjoyed the variety of drinks they offer on the menu that include free refills! The staff was friendly, though it was not especially busy and seemed to only come over when it was time for ordering or food delivery. There also were tables nearby that remained uncleaned the whole time (but staff visibly together nearby) so while our experience was good it is an area that could be improved (attentiveness). We went as a family to this location, and we honestly hadn't been in years. I've only been there once before. I will say that the service really impressed me. The staff, the waitress, and the manager were all very nice and very apologetic. We ordered a bone-in ribeye, and when it came out, there was a piece of hair in the meal. We were completely disgusted. We told our waitress, and the manager came over, apologized, and took it back. They brought out a new steak, but it was extremely raw. The manager apologized again and explained that bone-in steaks can be tricky for the chefs because they try not to burn them, but this one was just way too raw. She took it back again. By the time everything went back and forth, we were no longer hungry. They did take eight dollars off, which we appreciated, but the entire experience was disappointing. The staff were very nice, but the meal itself was absolutely disgusting. Will I go back to this location? Absolutely not. We were completely turned off by the whole thing. Today we decided (reluctantly at first I might add) to give this same location another shot! I am so happy we did. It really does make a difference. When our server Alexandra greeted us, she was timely, efficient, and thorough. She brought back our drinks immediately and put our order in. It's very refreshing to have such a drastic positive change regarding the server and environment! She was truly on it! It's hard for me to even believe that I've never been to Texas Roadhouse until this day. I'm glad I did because the food was favorable and the service was superb. Surprisingly so was the value. We went for dinner and the parking lot was packed. Surprisingly the wait was short and less than 10 minutes (probably because we were a party of two). It was pretty loud... which was prefect for a causal date night. The televisions were playing the game and we were glad we could view it from our table. After we sat down the fresh, hot , delicious yeast rolls were brought to the table with the yummy honey butter and immediately our drink order was taken and came out. First off the staff is very friendly, you can pick your steak at the counter when entering and the whole environment seems authentic. The Cajun sauce is awesome For our entires my wife ordered-Hand Cut Sirloin (Lean, juicy steak. Comes with two sides; she got a backed potato and house salad with ranch) My wife ordered her steak at medium temperature and it was cooked perfectly. Her baked potato was delicious; I ordered -Grilled Pork Chops(Boneless chops seasoned and served with Peppercorn sauce; House Salad with balsamic vinaigrette, and a baked sweet potato) The pork chops were moist, had a great sear, the peppercorn sauce tied it all together.
