Jordahn C is a rock star! Practically a mind reader! I didnt have to ask for a single thing! She was attentive and extremely helpful. I actually made a goofball mistake on a soup refill but she got it. I realized my mistake but she had the common sense and intuition to understand and had already addressed it! I want to bring a disappointing experience to your attention. My wife and I visited BJ's today 5/20. and ordered beers and a wedge salad tonight. After 20 minutes, no salad arrived. Our drinks sat empty for at least 10 minutes without any refills. Unfortunately, the bartender was rude and avoided us, providing no real service. We decided to leave due to the lack of attention. The restaurant, let alone the bar top where we sat, was not that busy. We were starving. A wedge salad is not a complicated order. My wife has been in the industry for over 20 years. When we asked for the check he stated it was in the cup. My wife asked to remove the salad that never arrived, so he quickly snatched it from the cup and said he would get it taken off in an unprofessional manner. It had been awhile since we have BJ's as we moved to the city over. Now with my son playing on a team that practices close by, we stopped by thinking we could make this our spot on the days she practiced. Needless to say after today's visit, that will NOT be the case. read more

This visit at BJs stood out thanks to Thaly's excellent service! Came in with my wife and brother for a late night meal, and the $13 Pizookie meal deals delivered!We ordered 2 Pizookie meal deals, 1 with a Smashburger and another with the Chicken Parmigiana. Both entrees were yummy and came out at a good time. For drinks, I enjoyed a $5 pint of their house blonde and my wife had a glass of La Crema and Meiomi Pinot Noir. The beer is definitely an above average Blonde! Biggest highlight of the night was the service from Thaly. Her attentiveness and quick greeting once we were sat really set the tone for an awesome meal! She was very kind and accommodated all of our modifications. Thank you Thaly and BJ's Oxnard! read more

My server Sierra was excellent in every way. Every one of my requests was handled professionally and with kindness and done immediately. I rarely go to restaurants these days due to poor service and terrible quality of food. This was my first time visiting BJs and I was very pleasantly surprised. Both the quality and service were top notch. The chowder was fresh and tasty and the bread bowl was delicious. The dessert was fresh out of the oven and piping hot and soooo chocolaty. I asked if there was a military discount and Sierra said yes! Then took my receipt immediately to lower the bill. I felt like there was indeed sincere care and proactive effort to support my needs as a customer. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends. read more

One of the best spots in town for drinks and great food. I come here multiple times a week, and there's a reason for that. Jojo always provides amazing service, and her cheerful personality makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in. She truly helps create the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back. I also want to give credit to Lisa, the manager. If there's ever an issue, she handles it right away with no questions asked and genuinely wants everyone to have a great experience. Talking with her feels like talking to family. The food is consistently delicious, and the beer selection is honestly better than some of the breweries in town. Today they left out the salads in our soup/salad combos, and it's funny, I called them and the guy knew about it but darn it, it just didn't make it to the bag. No one cares about you as a customer. Never ever getting BJ's We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a baked potato with sour cream and butter and chives. We got no bacon cheeseburger, but we did get frozen fries so I could dip my fries and butter and sour cream. Who does that ?Ordered a chicken club sandwich sandwich came with no chicken in it. Came to BJs to try out their $13 Pizookie deal and decided to go with the pepperoni pizza and salad combo. We came on a Friday night and it was busy. We decided to seat ourselves by the bar since it's open seating. It did take a while for a server to give us some menus. The server got our drink order wrong but it wasn't too big of an issue. However, when the server brought my drink order she did spill it and I did not realize it stained. If you are stopping by I suggest you check out their deals they have good ones right now. My favorite appetizer is their loaded nachos def give those a try. read more

We came in for our daughter's birthday and were surprised to come into an onslaught of patrons after graduation. The staff at the front desk were calm and friendly, getting us seated within the time frame they said when taking our name. Our server, David Cabrices was very friendly, engaging and polite. Our service was ok, our waiter was "Precious" she was a good server . When we got there we ordered drinks and it took around 30min to bring the drinks . And the second round they came another 30 min after we were done with our food by the time we got them. It wasn't the waitresses fault she was kind but it shouldn't take 30 for beer that's on tap to get to our table. When I looked over most of the bartenders were watching the dodger game on the tv behind them. There was a group of servers waiting for the drinks in the side. i love the food here but everyone wasn't on the same page and made it difficult to want to come back again when sports are on. read more

Our server was very lack luster, the broccoli cheddar soup came out cold and tasted like processed cheese, the pizza had barely any cheese on it, the steakhouse wedge flavor was good but the portion of meat to salad was not balanced and the salad was not fresh (was turning brown). Also asked for no tomatoes and it came with tomatoes so she took it back to remake it but they just picked the tomatoes off because there were still some on my plate under the dressing cup. read more

I ordered a pizza through DoorDash yesterday and it was honestly one of the worst I've had from them. It was incredibly dry, like they barely put any sauce on it before baking. I actually had to add my own pizza sauce at home just to make it edible. Not sure what happened this time, but it felt like a total miss compared to what I'm used to from them. Bjs has been a staple In our family for years. However, the last few visits have been mediocre. I ordered the sampler and most of my food was cold. My party ordered chicken buffalo wings, boneless and they were completely raw. :( The manager came and apologized, removed it off the bill and added a complimentary dessert. Love love love a great deal! What brought me back to BJ's was my teacher friends . They love this place. Unfortunately, the reason for our reunion wasn't great as we were all grieving a friend. We did have a good time though remembering the good times with our dear friend. It was an awesome dining experience as service was good, our meals affordable and it was not a busy day at the restaurant. Chill ambiance. We all got the $13 lunch specials available all day Monday to Friday . My meal included a house salad, mini pizza and a mini pazookie. I can see they have done a few upgrades . There's so much seating. Parking was not an issue. We had no wait time . We were seated immediately. We were promptly seated at 12:30 pm lunchtime this BJ's was pretty full! Music wasn't too loud and it was clean & inviting. Rainy days are good for a quick lunch. Alex E was our server she quickly shared the specials for the day and the $13 lunches menu!! Bonus! $5 house margaritas for the win on this gloomy Wednesday! I opted for the club sandwich. Every bite was tasty and full of flavor. The hubby got a smoke house burger ( all burger are $12) He ate maybe half as he mentioned how salty it was. At the end of ordering, Alex mentioned if we sign up for the BJ's rewards, we would get a free Pazooki! So we signed up! Time to pay the bill & addressed the discrepancies in charges. Seems onion rings with the burger was an up charge. Not a problem but would be nice to mention that prior. $11.99 for a $5 margarita. To find out they're $5 on Mondays. So, could have been a better experience for the price. Alex E asked if we'd like to speak to a manager, I declined as I'm not "that kind of customer." Lesson learned tho.
