Felt the need to share this stay because it was the first time I've ever been disappointed with bj's! My boyfriend and I arrived and it took almost 15 minutes to see a waiter (yes we timed after at least 5 minutes, and our timer went to almost 10). There were at least 3 waiters that had other tables around us and no one was willing to help our waitress out and get us started while she was able to catch up. When we did finally meet her, she was very apologetic which made us feel so much better. The second issue we had was when my boyfriend's prime rib arrived, there was a huge slab of fat on his meat, making it nearly 1/3 fat. I didn't even want to take those leftovers home to my dogs. It was artery clogging, thick fat. We then are just talking with the dessert in front of us and this waitress grabs all three without asking if we were done. We had two half eaten ones and says have a good night. Everyone else around us seemed to be getting refills and a whole conversation with her and we were barely checked on. I never write bad reviews and I hate to write it on a restaurant I truly love, but honestly this was probably the worst service I have ever received anywhere. Amazing food, we had the Swiss Burger and Crispy kick'n chicken both amazing. We had garlic butter dipped mozzarella sticks and to top off our amazing dinner Stacey was able to get us the Confetti Pazookie which is new and let me tell you the best cookie I've ever had!! We ordered half a rack of ribs, chicken, Alfredo, and other sides through UBER EATS.. The french fries that came for grandbabies were OK. I added salmon to my rack of ribs and it was so dry and over cooked and freezing cold that I couldn't reheat it. Bread did not come with pasta. Uber eats tries to make so many stops now with their drivers that everything always arrives cold. Gone are the days where you order something and it's delivered to you warm and not over cooked from sitting in a warmer. I reached out to Uber eats and they were so kind to refund me eight dollars including tax on an $80 order that was all cold. I'm wondering is there somewhere else that you can rate Uber eats online for their services? I don't know if the food was already in this condition from the restaurant, or if it came from Uber eats taking so long. read more

Today we scheduled a pick up and ended up waiting 30 minutes after at the scheduled pick up time. Then we were told that one of our "burgers was stolen" and so they had to remake it...when we finally got the food, the nachos were freezing, both burgers were freezing, and there was no apology, discount, or anything. So now we have cold food that has been sitting out for 30+ minutes. The service is consistently not good. And I think we have finally reached a point where we will not be coming back. Went in late on a Friday night w a friend for drinks, and of course, was easily talked into nachos. Place was perfectly busy without being packed. Nice size crowd in the bar area for anyone wanting to go in and people watch or chat. Excellent service. Nachos were a huge portion! Tasted great. Salt is an accent to enhance the flavor, not what I want as the main flavor. Everything I had (and my dad had) was salted to death. I ordered takeaway tonight instead of the usual dining inside and was taken aback by the poor quality of food and lack of protein that I ate. The ribs were not even warm and lack of meat versus how good it had been in the past times I ordered with heavy meat on the bones, but tonight was hardly anything, and 9 bones instead of 12/13 ribs. I have been here many times, the menu is very big so you have lots of options. It's a chain restaurant but as far as chains go this one is pretty consistent in there food. They have a lot of different beers as well as allot of specialty ones they brew themselves. I really like their cider, it is one of my favorites it's not to sweet but has that fruit flavor. They are great for large parties. The food is good, the cocktails are as well. My sister and I were visiting my Dad and his wife in Mesa. It was our first time, but Dad comes here. I was very impressed with the food and the service was above and beyond. We all ordered drinks. Dad's wasn't what he was expecting, so I told our server we would like to get something else. He was very accommodating. We ordered food and the food was amazing. Our server, Michael S. brought us out several beer samples. The first beer Dad got was mispoured, this the weird taste. He provided us with what had originally been ordered and that was better. He also gave us a sample of his favorite beer; also, good flavor. Michael S. spent a few minutes of time talking with us, which made us feel very welcome. Then, we shared a pizooki for dessert. They have a really good deal for half rack of ribs with 2 sides & you can choose either a soup or salad & it comes with a pizookie for only $13.95 & if you can a full rack it's $18.95. We arrived at 7:30 and waited 30 minutes or so to be seated (we were a party of 12). When we sat down I told the waiter we are here for the ribs and he told us they are sold out! We talked to the manager and he said they can make 3 half racks and he said he can give us a pork chop or sirloin cause they ran out & still gave us the deal. The manager was super nice and helped us with what he can do and totally gave us some good deals. Everything is super good! The menu is huge! I love the broccoli soup!
