I don't visit BJ's Brewhouse often, but my recent trip was exceptional and on a Monday. The two lovely young hosts were amazing right from the start. They seated me with Ben, a fantastic young gentleman who provided five-star service that felt like a Michelin-star restaurant. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring. He recommended the New Orleans-style jambalaya, which was outstanding. My Dr Pepper and water were always refilled before I even felt thirsty. Even though I was dining alone, he gave me the same outstanding service he would give a full table. The food was great, but the exceptional service is what truly made the meal memorable. Arrived around 5:05pm on Saturday night. Very nice hostess staff. Was disappointed we were quoted a 15 minute wait when there were 30 open tables, however. The good news was we really were sat after only 7 to 10 minutes. Alysa arrived at the table immediately and took our drink and appetizer order. Came back extremely quickly with the three waters that we ordered. We ordered the brewhouse bites, the Sriracha sprouts and the buffalo chicken sliders as appetizer starters. At least 30 minutes went by prior to their arrival and unfortunately, the timing in the kitchen must not have been good because the $21 appetizer platter was cold throughout, the sariachi sprouts were actually overcooked(burnt/blk) but cold and the chicken sliders as well were cold. Also to note, we were told by Alysa that the reason there was a hold up was the kitchen was behind and they were waiting on fries for the appetizer sampler that came to the table with no fries on it. After about seven minutes, we had to flag the server down to get app plates, Had to flag her down additionally after that for water refills after and additionally had to flag her down to put in a pizza order. We waited for about another 25 minutes for the pizza to come out after we ordered it. All our appetizer plates were stacked on the corner of the table remained there for the entire period of time we were there and never got picked up as well as the extra glasses from the drink refills never were taken off the table. The additional plate plates that were delivered with the pizza actually were wet from the dish washer and we needed to use dinner napkins to dry. The pizza was good. However, we were very surprised that we paid $38 for it when it was simply half of the BJ's special and half of the vegetarian and neither one of those pizzas cost anywhere near $38 so our pizza should not have exceeded the cost of one of those. Our dining experience ended with us paying the bill online and departing around 7:20 PM Seemed like two hours was an excessive amount of time. Unfortunately, stopped by the men's bathroom on exit and also witnessed a male server leave the bathroom with a 5 second hand wash and dry towel grab. What a terrific lunch we had a last few days ago at B J's! For some reason, I don't think about going here for lunch,but this has changed my mind. The price is pretty reasonable for a lunch special of $13 for 1 of several entrees, lunch size portion, and a dessert. Can't beat an ice cream and brownue for midday, although we did bring it home to enjoy later that evening. Our server Shannon was such a delight and made our visit even more special. The lunch portion southern fried chicken and the chicken parmesan were seasoned absolutely perfectly. The mashed potatoes and corn succatash that went with the chicken were so delicious. I even ordered extra mashed potatoes to take home for later. Don't forget to add a pint of beer or so to your lunch provided you're not going back to work. I've been to a lot of different BJ Restaurants across the United States and this location was by far the worse one. Today my family and I went to this location for lunch and what was supposed to be a nice outing with my family was turned horrible when dining here. We ordered the following: buffalo wings (sauce on the side), classic cheeseburger with fries, garlic butter shrimp with garlic toast (starter). Some girl (not our waiter) brought out 2 plates--(1) wings with half dry rub and bbq; (2) chicken sandwich with fries. The girl dropped it off and ran. When our waiter showed up with our actual order he asked, who dropped these off? We told him some girl. He apologized and gave us our order. The entire order obviously waites on the wings because the wings were piping hot and everything else was cold and stale. The shrimp was sitting in oil that's how long it is sat under the heat lamp, the garlic started separating from the sauce. The toast was rubbery and cold. The burger was on stale crumbly bread and the fries were cold and greasy. The waiter dropped off the food and ran--we didn't have time to ask for ketchup and mustard. The food was inedible. We waited for his return and complained about the fries being cold and stale. He asked if we wanted fresh fries and we said "yes please." 10 minutes later a saucer plate of stale cold fries came out presented as fresh fries. The waiter was gone by the time we tried the fries. One of the runners came by and we asked him, "Do you guys not serve hot fries anymore?" He asked "do you want fresh fries?" We said "we thought that's what you all brought us." At this point we were over it. We waited 20 minutes for "fresh" fries and a girl came out with another saucer plate of fries which looked to be on par with the 1st 2 plates. We turned it down before she could drop it off and run away with the rest of her team. The restaurant wasn't crowded or bustling which we normally are pretty understanding about but when service is slow, there's no excuse for subpar service/food. The food was horrible but what bothers me the most is the bare fundamentals of customer service. If we rejected food multiple times or complained about something where was the manager? We weren't engaged once by management to ask "how can we keep your business or how can we do better." What they did do was remove the meal from our bill, which I appreciate however, basic customer service--making the customer feel heard, gaining feedback to identify shortfalls and improve your staff is invaluable. The bill said "customer didn't like cheeseburger." Why didnt you ask why???? We were looking forward to dessert which we decided to forego because we didn't want to gamble on that coming out wrong. This specific location lost our future business. Disappointed--ruined our day. read more

Very crowded, make sure you get here early. The menu was expansive, great selections on tap. Lots of pizza along with burgers/sandwich and the salads are great. We go here randomly and every time the staff looks like they enjoy their job with their manager. The manager Leanne is here practically every time we're here. She remembers what my family and kids did the last time we saw her. She checks on my kids about school and games. I love that about her. She is amazing and an absolute asset to the restaurant. Every time some thing happens, my kids want to come here to see her and tell her all about it because she listens and gets excited about it. Truly a great person and this is what hospitality is. So glad that whenever I need wonderful food, drink and service I can always count on BJ's to deliver. Like most guests, I dropped by when I heard a bout their Dubai flavored items. I started with their Dubai espresso martini and it was wonderful, the presentation looks so gorgeous. Followed with our entrees that were also wonderful. Our waitress Karen was so helpful and kind. I will say that with the popularity of the Dubai flavored pazookie the wait for it did take a while. We ventured to @bjsbrewhouse at The Rim last week. We made it to happy hour, which ended at 6pm. Ashton was our server, who took good care of us. Dad had Strawberry Lemonade, and Hubby and I both had the Brewhouse Margarita. Dad and Hubby shared a bowl of Clam Chowder and we shared the Sliders and Rootbeer-glazed Wings. The wings are the best in town! Juicy and moist! Hubby had the Strawberry Field Chicken Salad for his meal and shared some with me. Dad and I shared the Fish & Chips. Generous portion of fish. I apologize for this review BUT the food was awful! We received our food at barely room temperature. We first ordered the Mac and cheese balls that were cold inside and the dipping sauces weren't good either. I ordered a California club with fries, the fries were the only that tasted ok and was warm. The sandwich had a funky smell, not sure if it was the cheese or the mayo or the chicken not being good. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine because of the menu pic but it was very disappointing. Pasta, sauce and chicken were cold and had no flavor then my daughter had chicken tenders that weren't hot either. THE ONLY THING WE ENJOYED was the "Spooky Pizookie". Service was good, restaurant is nice, open and clean. The tv closer to the front entrance wasn't working or their tv service wasn't working. We won't be back for meals but perhaps for Pizookies we would. read more

What a delicious and filling meal!! It's been a while since I've been to BJ's but they're just as good as when I last went. The place was clean, the food was great, and the servers were on point. This last visit I ordered the Deep Dish Ziti and it was absolutely amazing. There were so many layers of yummy pasta, sauces, blended cheese, and meats that I had ample leftovers to take home. We ended up ordering a Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with Vanilla Ice Cream to go as we were so full from the main course, and it was super easy to warm it up in our oven and enjoy it at home. I will say that my party and I lamented the fact that they didn't have the Potato Skins at this location, but we all enjoyed our visit very much nonetheless. We were seated immediately upon arrival because we made reservations. The restaurant was busy and, I believe, understaffed. Ordered a couple drinks and they took a little longer to come out but acceptable. Food took forever. When it finally arrived, my wife's order of Jambalaya had so much salt in it that she couldn't even eat it. She had the waiter take it back and ordered a salad with salmon on top. Now the wait begins again. She finally canceled that order because of the wait. The manager came over and asked what happed and she explained everything to him. She said she was so tired of waiting that she wasn't hungry anymore. The manager's idea of taking care of us was to remove the food she couldn't eat anyway from our bill. A real manager would have done something for us to bring us back again after all the screwups. But, alas, the manager is probably the reason the service and quality were so poor tonight. Used to love this restaurant but probably won't be back. The service overall sucked. The food quality sucked. Also the manager was useless, ineffective, and incompetent. read more

If you want really slow service, and messed up check and your food to come our incorrect then this is place for you! Came for a Tuesday pizokie deal (after waiting two hours, getting getting the wrong order, and not even getting the pizokie deal) and left VERY disappointed. I've never been so frustrated with service at a restaurant before (mainly bc we wouldn't even get a hold of any staff to help including our own server) . After ordering only three pizokies and an appetizer we finally got our food and now we're waiting around for a check...waiter no where to be seen. Meanwhile other staff have started cleaning up to close...we got there at 8...it was not 10... this was truly the biggest waste of time and if not for the pizokie being good! Checks also came out incorrectly...when we told the waiter he said "oops oh well too late you already paid", then he tried to give us expired gift cards to make up for it (his name was Joe). I never like to leave bad reviews calling out people specifically but in this case, our service was so horrible that it needed to be done. Avoid this bjs! read more

I haven't had BJ's in years and when we went just the other day I had a pleasant dining experience! First, when you walk in the restaurant is big, spacious and clean. Lots of tables and booths and they even have a bar area where they have special deals. I started off with a lemon drop martini and it was perfect. Not too strong or too sweet and I loved the sugary rim. For appetizers we got the onion rings and avocado egg rolls. The onion rings were nice and crispy. The avocado rolls kinda tasted like fried guacamole but not bad. For my entree I got the fish and chips. I really enjoyed my dish. The fish was flaky and crispy with a good tartar sauce. The fries were standard but still good. The dessert was probably the best part. We got the trio of pizookies which included strawberry shortcake, cookies n cream and chocolate chunk. They were all sooo yummy! I now understand the hype of pizookies haha. Our server was awesome! She was very friendly and always checked up on us. Food came out within a decent amount of time too.
