I ordered medium and my husband said it looked raw and in that lighting at the restaurant I didn't think it was but the next morning when I got home I looked at it and it definitely was not cooked through. Smooth, dim lit ambiance in this establishment that makes it a relaxing place for good steak. On the moderately priced end but service was such a key experience to the meal. Polite, courteous and disciplined staff made for a good meal. Our server Aaron made sure the lady ordered first! With the restaurant business and the changes that many have taken on, not may servers allow the women to order first. Order books require orders to be taken left to right. I just wanted to add an update: In response to my review the manager reached out and sent me a gift card to give them another chance. I did and it was amazing. I ordered the steakhouse bacon cheeseburger and I decided to give the garden salad another try. Both of them were perfect. Cheeseburger was cooked exactly the way I wanted. It was warm when it got here. And there were tomatoes and croutons in my salad! Haha Thank you Roger Hippen for making this right. Managers like you are very rare. Our last 3 dining experiences at BLACK ANGUS have been challenging. The last one was 2 weeks ago and the ribs were not cooked to temp and our guest that ordered them had an immediate reaction of food poisoning. We had planned a movie after dinner, but the entire remainder of our day in ER. I don't think we will give this establishment a 4th visit and that's too bad because the molasses bread is amazing, but it isn't sweet enough to make up for the entrees being subpar. read more

Blake was our server and he made recommendations on what was good and he knew the menu well. He also had a fun personality and I plan to request his section next time. Food was fantastic. We went to Black Angus for dinner on 03-DEC-25 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything was fine up until we walked in through the front door. The 2 hostess's were busy helping a customer out with an online order. It seemed like forever but we persevered. When the hostess's were done, they didn't acknowledge us for whatever reason. Then the former customer came back and cut the line in front of us with more questions regarding his order. We felt invisible and I voiced a question to one of the hostesses, she didn't acknowledge us, make eye contact or anything. Again, I told her that if they didn't wait on us we were going to go elsewhere, she didn't respond and could obviously care less. We left and went to the Texas Roadhouse just down the road. We ordered through DoorDash and I was very concerned because usually buying steaks for delivery hasn't been great, well this is the exception. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were perfect too! I should have taken pictures of the food but failed to do so. The service was great as well to include getting a text asking me what drinks did we want because they didn't come through. Great service from our friendly and knowledgeable waiter, Sam. The calamari was delicious, the salad and potato perfect. Two of the three steaks were overcooked. My rare filet was more like medium and my husband's ribeye a solid medium instead of medium rare. The filet was tender and juicy so I didn't bother with sending it back. My husband didn't send his back because he didn't want to make everyone wait. So we didn't say anything. When we go back we will be extremely specific about it. This was my first time eating at Black Angus Steakhouse. I ordered the Steak & Lobster Trio which included 6oz Top Sirloin, Lobster Tail, Roasted Garlic & Fresh Herb Butter (additional charge), Loaded Baked Potato Soup, Fried Shrimp and Mac & Cheese. The food was nicely seasoned for my tase (not bland or overly seasoned). The sirloin steak was tender and cooked as requested (well done). I would recommend ordering a larger steak if you want more meat. I thought the 6oz was small. Surprisingly, the Mac & Cheese was really good. From my experience, most restaurants do not make good Mac & Cheese. The Roasted Garlic Fresh Herb butter was fantastic. Definitely nice to have from your traditional butter. I have yet to eat the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. As for the lobster tail, that was disappointing. There was a large shell but very little lobster meat. The friend shrimp was good but very small pieces in case you're expecting more. My order was take-out so I cannot comment on the wait service or ambience of the restaurant. Overall, for a special occasion I would order this meal again. read more

Not a great experience, primarily because we didn't know we were eating at Black Angus Steakhouse. We ordered online from Bad Ass Burgers. The website said that. The directions said that. But there is no location with that sign. Even GPS shows it as a separate location from the restaurant. Maybe I should have put two and two together with BA but I didn't so I'm getting more and more frustrated driving in circles looking for this place to pick up my to go order. And for what they charge, things should have gone better with the food as well. We ordered burgers (duh). One medium (overcooked) and one well done (WAY undercooked) and fried zucchini which was too salty to eat. $50 for food we ate 1/3 of. My burger also wasn't seasoned worth a dang and was dry dry dry. I hope they do steak better than they do burger but can't say I'll be going back to find out. read more

Of all the corporate chain steak houses, BA is consistently the "best ". The value for quality is decent. They have good promotions too (campfire feast for two Etc.)The wife loves the blackberry mojitos and they are away potent enough for a jolly date night. read more
