    Singo Tuesdays.
    Erich S.

I dropped by to catch a World Cup game and get a late lunch. While the food was decent, the overall value was such that I probably won't return again. I ordered blackened fish tacos (that came with almost no meat - *maybe* 1.5oz/ea) and a water and it cost me over 30 bucks with tip. I updated my side to a side salad and *was* informed there would be an "upcharge" ... which ended up being six dollars. And for the extra extravagance of having jalapeños on my tacos, that was another buck fifty. The service was OK and the atmosphere was good to catch a game. But none of that makes it worth 30 bucks for three tacos. I was alerted that they have a six dollar hamburger on Mondays so I might drop in for that. And , you guessed it, with jalapeños. Also cool to see that on Tuesdays they have Singo.

A local favorite! Haven't been in way too long, and remembered how much I love their French Onion Soup and since it is officially Fall, I thought what better time than now to welcome Fall with some warm delicious soup? I also really love their Cajun Chicken Pasta which has a nice kick to it. Huge portion, so I only get that when I'm extra hungry. I often go for the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap to pair with my soup (and the loaded steak fries, of course). The restaurant itself is huge, but broken up into the bar area to the right when you walk in, and main dining area to the left. Sometimes it gets super crowded (especially on the bar side) and loud, but that's to be expected at a place like this, and good for them for staying so busy. I do think the parking lot could be a bit bigger, especially for all of the other businesses and restaurants next door in the same strip. Parking can be a bit of a hassle when coming here, but great service and yummy food make it worth it.

    Patty melt

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is all about football with my family. We always go to the hot wing spot, with approximately 16 of us this time, to catch the games and although I was about 30 mins late to meet the group, there was still plenty going on. Wings and salads and apps (like pickle chips) were all over the table... I asked for a water without ice and no lemon and when the server brought it to me, it looked like it had floating debris. I just set it aside and luckily I had a water bottle with me. I wasn't really hungry so I just snacked on some of my cousins' plates - so I tried the patty melt, a gold rush wing, the fries and pickle chips and they were all ok. I would say the fries were seasoned nicely and they were the really wide ones. The patty melt was served on marble rye, which I like. The pickle chips had a breading I thought held in the grease too much and the pickles didn't stay inside the breading very well... The wing was probably the star of the show and we were told that this place had pretty good wings. So if you like wings and that's what you're going to get that's, probably your best bet! Other than that, the service was decent, not fantastic, but it was a busy day. I'd probably go back, but I'd definitely make sure I order wings!

Great sports bar with awesome food. Good burgers, cheese sticks, wraps and potato skins. Ahi tuna salad and grouper sandwich are good too.

    Watching Cleveland Browns game.

Christmas Eve, Cleveland Browns are playing but unfortunately not on our network at home. We decided to go to Black Diamond Grill to watch game, get some drinks and food. Our first time coming here, we were greeted and able to get a table where we could watch our game we came to see. Started off with margaritas and onion rings for appetizers. Onion rings were very good and had a very tasty sauce to dip them in. Margaritas definitely hit the spot. Inside the restaurant were a lot of college banners and luckily we were seated right under The Ohio State flag (our team)! I ordered the french dip sandwich which came with steak fries and my hubby ordered the grouper sandwich with steak fries. Everything was very good and nice size portions, I was able to take over half my order home. Good time and a Browns win!!

Not sure if there is an elevator to access Joes. We sat ourselves as there was no hostess. The music was very loud and quite an active place. I didn't mind the music being loud perhaps it brought in the festive evening of it being Nee Year's Eve. Although a bit hard to hear conversation but we managed. I loved all the decorations celebrating Christmas and New Year's Eve. Really done up inside the restaurant. There were lots of tables, very large bar and there is even a back side with a whole other room. Not sure if it's for larger parties or the general public as well. Didn't know about it until I walked through to check the restaurant out. We ordered Margaritas and for the price of $6.50 they were very good, can't complain. I shared a bbq bacon burger with my husband and it was delicious. We were asked how we wanted our meat cooked. The burger was large enough to share along with fries which were very good as well. I suppose they could have been a bit hotter for my liking. My daughter enjoyed their steak plate said it was cooked nicely and very tasty. Our son-in-law opted for chili hot dogs which came with two and fries. He too enjoyed them and didn't finish the two. It seemed like there were many regulars chit chatting with each other. They do have an outside dining area but it wasn't being manned that evening. Also have an outside smoking area accessible through the main dining room. The women's bathrooms were even decorated for the holidays which was fun!! The staff were friendly but we had many different servers which struck us funny. Definitely will return with our kids. Reading the menu items, it seems the food is fresh and made when ordered. Apparently the pizza dough is made fresh daily so I'd like to try it next time. The menu has many options to try.

Disappointed because the tattoo artist at Inksomnia mentioned the food was worth trying this spot, maybe it is better typically, but until the construction/renovations are done I would not go here, and even then I am wary now.

I'm not sure if their A/C is broken or just not powerful enough, but the two times my husband and I have gone, they had a big industrial-sized fan going near the entrance to help with the indoor temp. It didn't bother me one bit and certainly didn't feel too warm, I just wondered if this was normal for them in the summer or a temporary thing. The food menu offers everything you'd expect from an Ale House and of course, they've got an extensive beer and cocktail menu as well. The Buffalo Chicken Queso Dip was a delicious starter, just maybe a little heavy on the blue cheese crumbles for me. However, the flavor of the buffalo dip was fantastic and I couldn't get enough! I also enjoyed a cup of their French Onion Soup cause if you know me, you know that's my absolute favorite soup of all time (yes, even in the peak of summer). It was very well done and I basically licked the bowl clean. I got the soup and salad combo which is offered at a very reasonable price and I chose to just go with their House Salad which also hit just right and was the perfect portion. It's a Friday night, and I was a little nervous that we'd have a long wait. Taylor took my information and put us in for a table, whatever was first available. We went and sat outside for about 4-5 minutes and got the text that our table was ready! We got seated outside towards the back corner and we were greeted by our server Hayley. We passed on alcohol, but asked what today's flatbread was and it was "taco". Every time we come here, I always want to get the shrimp and crab nachos, where they basically put the same exact thing on 12 perfect tortilla chips, served on a wooden platter. It's perfect, it's always delicious and just large enough so we don't get full. For entrees my parents chose the chicken piccata, and the black and blue burger with a side Caesar salad. I chose to go with the flatbread as an entree, and I knew that the onion rings would be very popular. Asked for a side of the avocado cilantro crema to accompany the onion rings. First of all, the onion rings are seasoned so well, with no dipping sauce or ketchup it's still really crunchy and savory. The flatbread was super crispy, topped with black beans, corn, and seasoned grilled chicken. Really flavorful, and not too large for feeling overly stuffed. My mother normally doesn't finish a burger but she did tonight (sharing some with my father), while sharing a few bites with my dad's chicken piccata and his angel hair pasta and capers. All in all, everything is always fantastic here. Hayley was great about making sure we were happy and had our waters topped off, and all things considered, we were in and out of there within an hour and fifteen minutes tops. Thanks to the team here for yet another great meal tonight! We will be back, this was our 4th qualifying visit so I'm up for a free entree next time I show up!
