Great local place to hang out. The bar area is good size with plenty of table off of the bar for smaller groups to sit, rather than at the bar itself or in the dining area. The bar staff is super friendly and works the area as a group, so you are never short on service. The manager has always come by the table and asked if all was ok with the food and drinks. The food has always been great! I had the Juicy Lucy special burger on the last trip and it was "excellent" . Also, try the wings (best in the area) and sirloin sandwich on a hoagie roll. We love this local restaurant/bar. We first ate here for a team dinner after a football game for my son. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was! The wings are at the top of our list in the area. The burgers they knock out of the park.... they are 1/2 pound burgers loaded with fresh toppings. My personal favorite is the chicken taco salad. It comes in a huge tortilla bowl and I honestly have a hard time not ordering it every time we go. The staff is attentive and we are almost always greeted by the friendly owner or a manger. I have to admit I am a regular 'bar side' patron. I am a regular because of the staff and Ownership of Black Diamond Grill. They always make me and my family feel at home. Terry Hanley (Owner) has a big heart for the community and gives to schools, students of the community. I have to give Black Diamond a really big shout out for consistency with both food and service. The food is always good and the variety is great, even though I always get the same three things! The patty melt is fabulous and nobody beats their lemon pepper wings. If we hit them in the right week, we may get to have the brisket quesadilla as a feature. Yumm! I would say the only downside is how many kids there can be on a weekend night. But easily fixed, just sit in the bar or go another night! We've been coming here for years and I personally know how community oriented they are because I see the manager(or owner?) giving out award certificates and buying banners at my kids schools year after year. Food is excellent, service is always great too. If you have children, sitting in the restaurant side is perfect--otherwise sit bar side. We have been coming for 10 plus years- never been disappointed by food or service....only thing I will say, is bring cash to tip the bar/wait staff. The house takes a percent of tips on credit/debit transactions....which I don't think is fair since they have to tip-out too. Otherwise, great food, cold beer and cocktails! read more

Just ate there last Friday with friends. The meal was terrible! I ordered a black and blue salad and the meat was overcooked, fatty and so salty, I could hardly eat it. The salad itself was just as bad. A weak pile of iceberg lettuce with a scant amount of blue cheese crumbles. Honestly, Zaxby's has a better black and blue salad for 1/2 the price. Overall a typical bar and grill menu. Only giving this 3 stars because they cut corners - the pecan pie was a micro-slice; embarrassingly small. And seriously - who EVER charges for coffee refills anymore?? Coffee drinkers should either settle for one cup or be ready to open a tab. read more

.We haven't been here for over a year due to a bad experience, I am glad we gave them a try again. The new fish dip is awesome. We always get fish dip when we are vacationing in the gulf coast but this one is the best yet. The wings were crispy and tasty, my little one loved the kids chicken Alfredo and they now have several IPA's on draft. I think this will have to be one of our new usual places. read more

Love this place! Love the food- it's wonderful. I have loved their grouper- they have grouper fingers basket, grouper sandwich, and a grouper entree; they have their seafood and fish brought in fresh daily, I heard, and it sure tastes like it. Their Lobster Bisque is wonderful and their french fries are so good- and I like their Ranch dressing to dip them in. My mom had the squash casserole which didn't impress me but their menu is really appetizing. I can't wait to try more things. The atmosphere is great too... In the evenings and on weekends, they get full and a lot of folks watch sports as they have many tvs all around. The service is always good and their food is fantasic! read more

Food is avg to above-avg. We always do takeout and SVC is usually okay. Just make sure to always inspect order before leaving. Most times the main bar area has music or TV so loud you can't even think. For that, I don't think I could ever do sit down here. read more

One of the few restaurants that I can say I have never had a bad meal. Food is fresh and full of flavor. The menu has nice variety. They accommodate special request in addition to great food the staff is friendly and client centric. Average is a very good way to describe this place. Average food, average service. Prices are a little above average for what you get. Overall I wouldn't say it is worth it. The panko bread crumbs on the 5 onion rings I got with my meal were a nice touch but certainly not worth the almost $45 dollars my check was. read more

Good food, decent service. But I'm incredibly embarrassed for this place. The manager, who's an old man with a long skinny beard comes across really passive aggressive. We have gone to this place a long time and this night it was busy. They were understaffed which is understandable for having a 15 minute wait but it was going on longer. We noticed them sitting 4 tops, and 2 tops. Which would make sense for table availability but there were plenty of open tables not full. So sitting 4 tops that came in after makes no sense. So we were talking to the manager and he was giving us BS excuses that didn't add up. We're we're very respectful throughout the engagement. And then as we decided it wasn't going to work out we gathered everyone ready to leave and the manager, who we were talking too, made a snarky comment "I'll get you an application" and that was incredibly rude. It was not said in a joking way. Really disappointed, it was just not the type of behavior we expected from a place we go to ALL THE TIME. Horrible experience this time. That manager ought to be ashamed of himself. Questionable if we will return, and that's very upsetting. Use caution if deciding to go there. read more

Black Diamond bar and grill is the only thing like itself in this area. If you looking for a non mainstream sports bar then this is your place. The environment here on gameday is great but it doesn't get to out of control. Everything on the menu is great. When I meet my family here to watch football we get a bunch of different dishes and we all split them. The nachos, wings, and the mushroom and onion chicken sandwich are all great. If you like to sit in the bar area make sure you ask for Shelley if you are there on the weekends. She is great! She is very energetic, and always makes sure you know she is there to please the customer. If you don't like something she wants to know. This place is great! We went there to watch UFC and discovered our new favorite pub. Needless to say we were there for about 6 hours and had awesome service the entire time. The wait staff was so attentive that our drinks were never empty. This is saying something because the bar was packed with people. I highly recommend this pub. read more

Pretty decent burger...Having sweet potato fries on the menu is a plus. Basic bar food...I'd definitely try it again. Tonight seemed to showcase the Lamda Lamda Lamda crowd so I think more attention was given to getting drinks up. I get it...I'll be back the try some other menu items. read more

Best wings I've had yet in this town. I ordered them extra crispy and they delivered on the crispy! The place is kind of a lot like taco mac, only without as many draft selections. They do, however, have a wide variety of bottled craft beer options. For the fact that it's kind of a "tavern" style bar/grille, I was surprised at the number of families that were out on a Friday night and the middle age single-again people, not as many single young adults as I would have expected. It's a nice place but I would highly recommend it as a place to put in a to-go order for wings, or try to make it in on a trivia night with some pals when it might be less likely to be a bunch of empty nester seniors and parents with their children. read more

The manager in charge on 12/15 Friday night is a total ass. Glasses , chubby middle age. We went in for an appetizer and a drink and Togo family food. When our to go food was late he informed us that he was short a cook. Shrugged his shoulders and said guess he didn't want to show up. Really ??!!!!! No sorry folks . It's such a shame because the bar staff was outstanding!!! Great wine for a place like this. Not our first experience with this jerk manager ... maybe owner ? I think Black Diamond is great. My kids alwAys ask to go. We frequent after baseball games and the service and food is always good.
