Another great visit at this location. I just wish there were more in the area. My go to is the Mexican mocha iced although now they have a cherry mocha tiramisu, which is ridiculously good. Service is always super nice and friendly at both outside in the order Lane and at the window. They have the best pup cups. This is just a drive up window. There is no inside. And they do offer some food items although I've never had one.

The line looped all the way around, I think more people have discovered how great this place is lol!!!! I actually switched my regular order today to the hot XL IV which has 6 shots of espresso instead of the vanilla hot latte XL 4 shots.

I don't love black rock coffee I really tried to love them, they're just okay Overpriced and a lot of times my iced drink is still warm from them not pouring my espresso over ice! The girls are always kind, but kindness doesn't make my coffee taste better for $8 I wish I could keep coming here but with the competition of Starbucks , Dutch bros, and dunkin all on the same strip I think I won't be getting them again. Heck the Taco Bell coffee is better sometimes

    Iced Blackout

My boyfriend and I were heading up to OC/LA one weekend and wanted to stop somewhere for coffee. I found this little place on Yelp nearby and decided to check it before continuing my drive up. The location that I stopped by is located in the middle of a parking lot on between Taco Bell and Thai Table Time on Oceanside Blvd in Oceanside. It's an order through your car and go kind of coffee bar where I had to line up behind cars around the lot. It was kind of chaotic when we went because we went through the wrong way and due to that, we had to drive around, and 5 cars had already gone in front of us saaad. Pro tip: enter from the Thai Table Time parking entrance side instead of Taco Bell side. We got their Blackout (hazelnut mocha) with less sweetness to share. I was kind of skeptical as I'm not a huge mocha lover, but wow, I was thoroughly impressed! It wasn't overly sweet and had such a nice coffee fragrance in it. I could still taste the coffee among the hazelnut and mocha flavors, and it was darn good! This small pit stop ended up being a great stop as I loved my drink a lot! Definitely will be back when I'm in the area again! Or if I'm around their other locations.

Came here for a quick pick me up with the s/o. The employees were so nice and welcoming. The coffee was solid. I ordered the iced caramel blondie and the s/o ordered a seasonal drink honey and vanilla. Mine was 5/5 star would order again. His was 4/5. It wasn't what he expected but good nonetheles

    Matcha and a poor bee
    Jessi B.

I really do love Blackrock coffee! After a frustrating situation at the Vista location, I started going to Oceanside instead. So far, the staff has been great and the line passes pretty quickly but I almost swallowed a bee in my matcha today. Halfway done and a little grossed out but at least it wasn't a fly. ‍ I hope something can finally be done with the family of bee's they got going on.

Ice coffee hazelnut, vanilla with almond milk

Decided to give Starbucks a break and try out this spot for the first time. I can understand why typical chains are overrated. I ordered a small ice coffee made with half vanilla, hazelnut and almond milk. It turned out perfect, not too sweet either. The only downfall was it was a bit pricey. I paid like $6.20 for a small coffee but at least I can say it was worth it. So the taste balanced out the price. Wouldn't mind going back.

The first time we went, we ordered Cafe de la Olla and La Morena- both with oat milk and I asked them to double check the syrups did not contain dairy. I was told all was good so we enjoyed our lattes and our daughters shared a hibiscus refresher. On our second and third visit we ordered again, La Morena and one other latte. I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. So, I'm not sure if there is dairy in the syrup or if they accidentally used cow milk in our lattes. Too bad too, because the flavors were tasty. We also appreciated the donuts from Doughside Donuts. I'm just not sure we will be ordered coffee from here anymore. The entry is really cute and you automatically see the variety of plants. They sell some jewelry and plant/Mexican pastry merchandise. Service was friendly but parking is not so great, especially when they are busy. Street parking only and it can be slim, especially on street sweep days. Cute shop but be weary if staying away from dairy.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm not usually a fan of matcha, and I often end up regretting it and discarding it. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised. I was thoroughly satisfied and regained my trust in matcha. My friend opted for pastries, and she thoroughly enjoyed them, even devouring them.

This place has such a loyal following that people will happily walk a few blocks just to get their Revo fix. One of my favorite things is their seasonal menu. I've learned to fully embrace each special while it's here because once it's gone, it's gone. Right now, I'm completely obsessed with the Coconut Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I'm pretty sure the baristas recognize me as "the Sticky Rice Matcha lady" at this point! I'm soaking up every sip while it's in season, and although I'll be sad when it's gone, I know they'll surprise me with something amazing next season. Their food is just as impressive. The toast is delicious, they use Prager Brothers bread, organic avocado, and fresh tomatoes, and you can really taste the difference that quality ingredients make. It's refreshing to find a café that clearly cares about food integrity. Another huge bonus for me is that they offer almond milk. So many coffee shops default to oat milk, but I appreciate having another option that fits my preferences. The only downside is the parking. My strategy is simple: go early if you can. Once it gets busy, finding a spot can be an adventure. But even with that minor inconvenience, Revolution Roasters is absolutely worth the trip. Incredible coffee, thoughtful seasonal drinks, quality ingredients, and a team that clearly cares about what they serve. Easy five stars.
