I'm extremely picky about pancakes, because if they are gummy at all, I do not like them. Unfortunately, the pancakes were gummy. The flavor was good, but I did not enjoy the texture. This place is amazing, I can't believe it took me this long to get here. Everything we ordered was excellent, it's all freshly made, and the food comes out pretty quickly too. The owner greets you at the door and her husband is in the back cooking every day, this is one of those local places that makes you feel like family. I would say the highlights for me were definitely the crêpe, that was ridiculously good, and probably the country fried steak. The gravy that they use is amazing. I've been wanting to stop in. It's close to our gym. Finally had time, today. Great service. Cozy atmosphere. Pretty large menu. The specials sounded delicious. But, I decided to be healthy. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was very good and enough for breakfast and lunch. My orange juice was delicious. I'm not sure if it was fresh squeezed but it tasted like it was. My son seemed to enjoy his meal; he ate most of it. I wouldn't mind to try lunch on another weekend. Or, I may order carry out for breakfast on my way to work. We spent about $37 for breakfast. I think it's a bit high for breakfast. But, I'd still try this place again for the many options they provide and the pleasant staff. read more

We were in the area craving some breakfast and got an order to go. Our two items were ready in 10 minutes. Paying and picking up the order was no problem and we were back home in no time. I had the chicken and waffle. The waffle was large and lightly crisp. They use chicken tenders which are battered and fried. I got two of them with the waffle and they were crispy, tender, and salty. The order came with two containers of prepackaged syrup but no butter which would have been a nice little addition but no matter. The meal itself was about average in terms of taste and presentation. The other order was the double biscuits and gravy which looked like a generous portion of gravy to biscuit. I was in the area dropping my dog off at the groomers and needed a tasty, quiet place where I could have a business call. I was greeted right when I walked in by a friendly hostess and I told her my needs. She asked if I needed an outlet or just a quiet corner. My server Sam helped me figure out a delicious order and then throughout my call she kept coming over and without disrupting the call, got within my line of sight and gave me a thumbs up. I don't think I've had someone check in on many as many times as Sam did today. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate my gluten free diet requests. I had delicious blueberry gluten free pancakes, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Oh, and a delicious fresh squeezed orange juice! Her name is, Sekeya.* She was attentive and very sweet. As for our breakfast, DELICIOUS!!! We ordered one of the breakfast specials which was a Haystack of sorts with both bacon and sausage topped with eggs and gravy. It came with a side of toast and we upgraded to the Harvest Pancake. YUMM! Sekeya's suggestion. She also mentioned the crepes are very popular, so we ordered the Triple Berry Crepes. They were very good. Not too sweet BUT the black and blue berries may have been a compote with fresh strawberries. Delicious, but expected real fresh berries. On vacation in Mesa Arizona, my wife and I stopped in to the Blackberry Cafe for breakfast. It's a nice place to have coffee and a noshto start the day. We started with coffee, which was really good. My wife had three berry crepes. She loved them. They were very delicate and the filling was yummy. I had the potato pancakes, which were served with sour cream, apple sauce and fruit. Covid days Had to try their Reuben since I'm a Reuben fan and liked it. The thousand island dressing was given on the side with tomato, lettuce and pickle. You can optionally select either fries, house made chips or soup. I selected fries but probably should have tried the chips. Fries were okay. There was no ketchup. Nutella and banana crepes were okay. It seemed like they were sparingly using the Nutella. Bananas didn't seem ripe enough. They have syrup which helped the taste a bit since there was not enough Nutella. If there was more Nutella then this dish would have been a lot better for sure. Servers wore mask. When I came in one worker said she will be with me in a moment and instead sat down customers that were still outside coming out of their cars. Not just one set of customers. Bathrooms were filthy, service was awful and they seemed like they couldn't care less about my business. When I arrived the waitress was very rude and didn't say "hello" or "welcome." I had to get her attention, same thing when leaving, no "good bye" or anything. I understand this type of customary behavior from a younger person in the food industry but not from an older woman.
