    Iced Blueberry Matcha

The baristas here are always super helpful and friendly! Love that this Blank is in a very convenient location in Chelsea. Plenty of seating.

Worst blank street in New York miserable people and a cup for of ice with little to no flavorless matcha. My friend got the limited edition carrot cake matcha, which is supposed to be rimmed with carrot cake purè and they put a DASH like bitch. Do you see how much ice is in my cup on the left? My friend says this place has the best iced chai latte so we came in for a quick drink to beat the heat. I ordered the iced blueberry matcha, which was pretty solid! The blueberry flavor was subtle, but it tasted more like milk than matcha. I think it would've been better if the matcha was a bit stronger. I personally am not a huge fan of chai, but I took a couple sips of my friend's drink and it was pretty good! Only downside to this location is that it's quite small so there really isn't much room to stand and chat with friends. There isn't any seating, so more of a grab-and-go place.

Stopped here because it was down the street from the hostel I was staying at. This is hands down the best matcha I've ever had. The person working was so nice, even gave me someone's pastries that they never came to pick up!

Note: I went to the 19 8th Ave location but I can't seem to find a Yelp page for that location. I AM SO IMPRESSED AND EXCITED THERE ARE SO MANY LOCATIONS. First of all, the prices are so cheap! Especially for specialty lattes, they could be charging double for what they are and it'd be warranted in New York. Coming here every time I go to New York. I got the Iced Pistachio Latte for only $4 and some change. It was nutty, creamy and delicious. I definitely want to try their bakery items next time. Blank Street Coffee reminds me of Compass Coffee in DC, a simple and high quality menu. The service here was really good, I asked for light ice as the barista was making the drink and she was super kind.

Tried the banana bread it's moist and a well balance of bread texture, it goes well with the chai Latte. Service is dope they have dog treats, outside bench to sip and enjoy. Music or street noise is a plus I must say. Los Cafeses están ricos con precios normal por la área dónde estás. El pinche pan está bien hecho

I woke up late yesterday and didn't have time to grab a coffee before my all-day streak of Zoom meetings. I ended up seeing Blank Street on one of the online ordering platforms and getting it delivered. I had a large hot honey rose latte which I loved. The coffee was high quality and the syrup not too sweet. (The size large is your standard coffee shop large, not like a Starbucks venti.) I also got a vegan matcha coconut cookie and a banana oat breakfast cookie. The former did not have a strong matcha flavor, but I really liked it anyway because of its amazing texture- crackly on the outside and soft on the inside. The latter was yummy but also really healthy-tasting and, as the name suggests, definitely a more appropriate breakfast food if you are into being appropriate. There was a cute note on the bag also. Will have to try visiting in person.

Everything ordered was delicious. This small coffee shop is loved by the neighborhood. On a typical Sunday morning, you see a lot of people with their dogs as well as families stopping by for a quick pick me up. Service was great.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Cafe Bilboquet caught my eye as I meandered toward Central Park. I couldn't make out it's name, but…read moreI saw many customers coming out with coffees and pastries, so I decided I must try it. Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.
