The food here is already sub-par compared to other Blaze locations, but my last customer disservice experience really turned me off. Long story short, they allowed a non-service dog in the establishment that was not in a carrier. I tried to keep it in-house by quietly reminding someone that it was unsanitary. The young man by the register chastised ME, stating that "she can be in here like YOU can be in here!" Excuse me?!?! This boy tried to argue me down about how non-service dogs can go wherever (they can't), and failed to heed his coworker's warning that he needed to stop his foolishness Wow. My initial intent was just to let someone know because you really never know who's walking into your store, and I'd really hate to see anyone get fined or shut down over what might have been an honest mistake. But, since this young man wanted to get jazzy, I complained to corporate. I got a call from someone claiming to be a GM, who said he would take care of my next visit. First visit. The location has a big parking lot next to a bunch of different places to eat. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. You pick your pie chipotle style and the staff was friendly. Don't order anything from this place Online... After 90 minutes of waiting for my delivery, I get a call from Blaze telling me that my door dash driver hasn't picked up my pizza. I'm sure the pizza was great but by the time I got it home it was 2.5 hours old and cold. I was offered no refund options or even an apology by the staff as they all looked confused. Was at this location today at around 6:30pm, Multiple staff had a condescending tone towards me. At the counter, I asked for coke zero, the lady responded 'you mean a fountain drink'. Turns out there was no coke zero. I mentioned briefly my impression was that there was coke zero. Another female employee responded that they used to have it and that's it. I didn't make a big deal about it so I got unsweet tea. My pizza came and it wasn't baked longer. I mentioned that at the start of my order and also right before it went into the oven. No issue at all! I took it back and asked if they could bake it a little longer. Staff that was there was standing there like it was mission impossible I was asking. They were complaining that it's because I had too many ingredients. I didn't understand why this was made such a big deal, this never happens at the Cumberland location or anywhere else I hope. Female employee comes flying in with the 'Well you should've mentioned you wanted to bake the pizza longer at the start'. I did, twice. I could sense the hostility just walking into this location but I wasn't expecting to receive any of it. The time taken to bake the pizza a little longer took twice the time it took for my pizza to arrive the first time. My name was not called, I was instead summoned with the 'come here' finger motion. I was given the hot metal tray that was in the oven baking with the pie with no warning at all, and it burnt my fingers. Also, I just had surgery on my left hand yesterday and it really shows since I have bright turquoise bandages all over. I really hope this wasn't spite. I ordered 3 pizzas and a cookie online with this blaze location on blazepizza.com. The door dash deliver person arrived with only 2 pizzas. I called the restaurant to see if they could resolve issue to which the rep advised our door dash person forgot the pizza. I advised that we ordered pizza through blaze website and she transferred me to manager. The manager got on the phone and I explained the entire situation over again to her in which she says call it's our fault or door dash fault since "all they do is make the pizzas". I of course was stunned at this point and asked for resolutions to the issue to which she didn't say anything else and after I said hello for 45 secs to a min they hung up. I called door dash and they asked for an order number. I gave them the order number from blaze pizza, name and number, and they could not pull anything up. They advised that they only could help if I ordered through door dash to which I understand. I called back to store. The manager answered the phone and asked very loudly and with a horrible attitude "is this that person who called earlier" she advised me that it is door dash, lyft, or Uber fault and they can't do anything about it. I asked what solution could we come to? She told me that they were out of dough and we could come up there ourselves in the morning for a refund. I advised I ordered through website and could I get refund electronically to which she said no. This ENTIRE TIME she's YELLING. She finally said she will just have GM mike call tomorrow. I asked her name and she hesitated and says Keisha. She advised for me to have a bless day and hung up. I promise we spoke very light and polite this entire time and did nothing to antagonize this manager Keisha. I hope that this doesn't happen to any of you with blaze pizza. read more

I got an array of cheeses, pepperoni, kalamata olives, mushrooms, roasted peppers, and roasted garlic before it was fired up. I absolutely love the ingredients they use here since they're much higher selection and quality than your typical chain BYO pizza place. Once I was done paying and my pizza was done baking, I got the olive oil drizzle with fresh arugula to top everything off. Build-your-own pizza places are such a godsend. No more pineapple on pizza debates. No more trying to figure out which pairings the group wants that still fit that "two-topping" deal. Plus I'm the type of guy to get almost every free add on I can ... Hey, it's economical! You know what else is economical? The size of that Your Pie which borders chipotle levels of filling. The drinks are also unique and high quality. Although a little pricey, the unlimited refills of the Blood Orange Lemonade ... errrr the pear one ya that one... means I'm up there 3+ times when I eat in. They're not Neapolitan, but have the appropriate dough quality that is comes from simplicity and quality. Pizza dough isn't rocket surgery- it's a simple thing- and yet so many chains tun into an excessively caloric chemistry experiment. The uniformity is a little off putting, but the crust is the appropriate combination of soft, crisp, and pull, with minimal char. The read sauce is traditional and good. Cheese is quality as well. After I asked the person cutting my pizza if he thought it was acceptable, he said he would remake it. Ok great. Next words were "go get in the back of the line and re order" (15 people deep). Blaze Fast fired pizza seems to be the up and coming place. This is the 3rd location I have visited and have super satisfied each time. This location is pretty new in a super high hustle part of town just off 17th street on the Northside drive side. There are two entrances with a minimal amount of parking because the other businesses are hopping as well. I visited on a Sunday night and it was PACKED. I waited 25 minutes just to place my order. This is not because of slow employees. They were working hard. Just volume. Once able to make my pizza they made it perfect ! Just as I asked. No complaints with that at all. They did run out of lemonade and that was never addressed while I was there. You really get great food at a very reasonable price. Bathrooms needed some attention but again they were slammed. The food is good, the options are nice, place is clean, and overall the staff is nice. I've been twice since they've opened and both times my pizza was wrong. I just took the pizza as is instead of sending it back to get fixed. The second time they messed up they give me a free pizza voucher for next time. The lines get backed up and mistakes are happening bc the staff is not paying attention. Most of the time they are on the phone (cashier), or playing around. Blaze is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! I came after seeing their various marketing materials, and I didn't want to cook one night. It's located in the new shopping center with Zaxby's, Chipotle, amongst others. I ordered one of their signature pies, the 'meat lover'-esque one, and it was great. What really blew me away was the efficiency. I came at dinner rush, and although there was a short line, everything kept moving with all of the line on their A-game. I also thought the offer of different glazes (buffalo, pesto, balsamic, etc.) and arugula at the end was a nice touch. Finally, the house drinks were great.
