Absolutely love this place! The only pizza i really enjoy is the red vine. Other pizza joints disappoint when it comes to thin crust.

What a great place! The staff is friendly, the ingredients are fresh and you can put on as much or as little as you please. We always get their regular thin crust, it's always cooked to perfection! They have three different sauce bases, spicy, regular and Pesto...I absolutely LOVE the pesto! They have about five different cheeses and a great selection of meat and vegetable toppings. Get creative with your pizza! They also have four different kinds of salad you can choose from, unfortunately they discontinued my favorite...apple, feta & mixed greens ...time to try a new one! They have your regular fountain drinks, along with four juices that are all very delicious! Stop by and think outside the box...create your own signature pizza! I have, and I haven't been disappointed yet!! Oh! They also have desserts that they make themselves! (I haven't tried any of them, I don't need the extra calories!) They all look and smell amazing. Overall I didn't like my experience at Blaze. The staff wasn't very friendly and took some time to acknowledge me when ordering and when paying. The pizza was just ok ... the person that made the pizza stacked all the ingredients right in the middle so I did ask if she could spread some out to the edges. Normally we have good experience here, but today they treated us like we're were third rate and not worth their time. My wife has a severe allergic reaction to gluten. Every person acted like it was an incredible inconvenience to help us. We have not had this issue before at any blaze and we will NOT be returning to this one. It is getting added to every gluten free site and not gluten free and should be avoided. It also does not help that the employees were talking negative about my wife and her illness. Not professional at all. Maybe the staff needs to take some classes on proper food prep, cross contamination, and general customer service. read more

Simple, good food. You can pick your toppings and create a unique mix for yourself. Restaurant was slow and a few tables were left unbussed while we ate our meals, so about 20 minutes of staring at garbage at the tables around us. Good for a quick bite, can be cleaner. read more

Meh. The staff was very disorganized. A lot of staff just standing around not doing much. Register was being counted so I had to wait to pay, and almost got charged twice as much as what my order was. At the end of the day the food was great (as always), but I might have caught them staff at a shift change since I waited so long to complete my pizza. Brianna, I believe was her name, greeted me and was very kind and took over my order when she realized how slow her co-worker was making the pizzas. Oh and the staff dropped my pizza on the floor so I waited another 10 minutes. The pizza being dropped on the floor was pretty funny now that I'm thinking about it. There are many of these build your own pizza places within a few mile radius and this is by far the best one! Dough is good, sauce tastes so fresh and tomato-y and they have the best selection of toppings in my opinion. Fresh mozzarella, ricotta cheese, tons of fresh veggies and other stuff I don't get. They will really load up on the toppings too, other places put so little I'm always asking for extra. Only thing missing is broccoli but maybe I'm the only weirdo who likes so many veggies on my pizza. Love it!! read more

Absolute worst restaurant experience ever. One pizza was undercooked the other was burnt. In taking the bad pizza to the counter for a refund I was told they are making a new pizza. They looked at me like I was crazy but I didn't want to be deliberately mean and say that the other pizza was terrible as well. The cashier guy had no clue how to do a refund and messed with it for a very long time before declaring he had zeroed out my invoice so it said 0.00 dollars however I found out later that that in no way gave me a refund it simply made the ticket disappear in their system. Salad was basically airline food in a plastic box with a plastic spoon. Sea salt and basil was supposed to be added to the original order but was not. The pizza was tasteless with red sauce that tasted like ketchup truly awful. There were no seasonings on the pizza. I asked for and was willing to pay extra for artichokes on my pizza, there was maybe ten tiny artichoke leaves in the middle of the pie, it was embarrassingly bad. I would give this plaze 0 stars if i could, a truly terrible restaurant. Management please take note your Avondale location in West Phoenix must be the worst restaurant I have ever been to. read more

I have gone to blaze pizza a couple of times since they opened. The times I have been there I have been amazed by how friendly the staff is and how clean it is. The employees are very enthusiastic and welcoming. The pizza is good and has a fresh taste. Great place to come in for dinner with the family after a long day. Considering this type of pizza establishment is a trend right now, I was unimpressed with Blaze. The pizza was fine, but could have used a bit more time in the oven. My salad was also just fine. It really lacked seasoning and I found it frustrating that I had to choose from one of their premise options. The best thing we ordered was the s'mores cookie. Finally tried this place last night, used a free coupon I had received in the mail. I would not recommend the salads, lettuce was wilted and just didn't look fresh and dressing was not the best so pass on those but the pizza is amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff with seems to be hard to find these days at casual dining restaurants. Kenny greeted us in with a nice friendly smile and had a nice positivity about him. They are great about customizing and don't give you that "look" when you ask for "a little more mushrooms please." Recently went to Blaze and our pizza was amazing! The service was horrible. No eye contact, making pizzas really quick for no reason. Only a few people in there. The girl yelled my name and as i approached her to get my pizza, she completely dropped my friends pizza because she was rushing. She didn't say sorry, or reassure us of anything. She just said "i have to make it again". And it took 15 minutes to get our second pizza. I work in customer service and i don't ever treat anybody that way if they are rude or not. read more

We usually eat Blaze Pizza in California and we love it. Today's experience, well not so great. Every server making your pizza seemed well, like if they did not want to be there. They all seemed like if they were sad, maybe they were all in an argument before we arrived I don't know but they were not friendly at all. There was this lady that would call out your name to get your pizza, man she was GRUMPY!!!! My daughter and I asked for ranch and she was so rude about it. We told her thank you and she mumbled under her breath "your welcome" with no eye contact. The pizza was okay, could have been cooked a little longer and no sun dried tomatoes!!!!! What the heck!!! My daughter chose this place over Pieology which I love, I regret coming here and will not be back. Oh and the men's restroom was bad!! Hadn't been cleaned for at least a couple of hours. Always have good food when I come to this location but today my only complaint was the workers attitude. Pizzas were made correctly but it could've gone without nadeya attitude. I assume that's her name I tried reading the name tag on the top of her hat. When I asked for a pesto drizzle once my pizza was one and she became upset and let out a sigh... I also asked for arugula and came to my attention no gloves on either . When my husbands name was called she slammed his box on the counter and didn't bother to ask if he wanted additional toppings. He asked her for Buffalo drizzle and once again she was mad. I'm sorry that you're working today and may have had other plans but we were completely nice and said please and thank you even after how she treated us. We had an order of garlic knots as well and when she was reminded she flung the box on top of the counter and did not offer marinara sauce for the knots and walked away... not the best experience here read more
