5 stars for a Pizza place from me is a big deal. They have a Build Your Own Pizza for $8.25 and you can pick all your toppings you like and they will fire it up and have it ready in about 5 minutes. It's a thin crust single serve pizza. Nice size for the price! We were in a big hurry in a road trip and needed something quick but really didn't want fast food. This is GREAT! We were in the area and tried Blaze the other night. First of all, the place was PACKED, which I see as a good sign. On the downside, the busier it got, there were people hovering waiting for tables. It has been raining that day, so the patio was closed. The food was really good. Kids had cheese and Hawaiian pizzas, my husband a supreme and I had a custom. The blood orange lemonade is so, so good. As first timers, the ordering situation was kind of stressful. It's sort of hard to get with the program (only one size of pizza, etc.), but the staff walks you through. Lots of choices and the line moves fast, kind of like ordering your sandwich at Subway on steroids. The table service was super friendly and attentive too. They move around the room offering to bring you extras of this or that - it's not a traditional table service. The biggest, and really only real problem with this place is it is LOUD. It's very family friendly, which is cool. Our kids really liked it (ages 8, 11), and there were lots of other families in there. But it was almost obnoxiously loud at one point, as it got busier, but not much anyone can do about that. Pricing is comparable to any other pizza place. Under $40 for all of us. read more

QUICK SUMMARY: Great Pizza, fast friendly service. If still as good in 6 mo, I'll give 5 stars. LONG WINDED VERSION: My immediate impressions are probably closer to 5 star than 4, but since it's a new restaurant in the honeymoon phase, I'll temper it with a 4 for now. I'll revisit this review in 6 months and if the food and service remains as good as my first 2 visits, I'll certainly bump it up to 5 stars. My favorite pizza is thin crust, and Blaze nails it. They're setup kinda like a Subway Restaurant assembly line, with different sauces, toppings and cheeses. Great variety of toppings, (crumpled meatballs, artichokes, and FRESH basil are among my favorites.) Both my trips were during lunch and the lines were long, BUT it moved quite quickly, and because they cook at such a high temp, the pizza came out in short order. They had typical fountain drinks, as well as teas, various flavored lemonades, and a few bottled beers, but not a "full bar". Lastly, I think their pricing is very reasonable given the quality. For $6.50 my daughter got a pepperoni pizza that was WAY better than Lil Caesars for only $1.50 more. (Also not quite a big as Lil Caesars of course.) I know both places aren't in the same league, but just using the comparison to illustrate a point. read more

Eva and Brian were some of the coolest people, and they were the first people to welcome me to the state of KY. Cashier was very rude. My order got "lost" but we still were charged for it. We mentioned it to them and they said they'd make the pizza and when I got it I explained to them that it was made wrong and they told me I was wrong threw raw chicken on it and gave it to me. I asked for a refund and she threw her hand in my face and told me to walk away. She proceeded to talk rudely about me and my family in front of in front of their employees and other customers. When I asked to speak to a manager she rudely turned in a circle and laughed and said "oh it's me" and proceeded to ignore everything I said to her. There was also many tables who's good had been swapped. Needs less to day blaze has lost our business indefinitely. Through the rude customer service. Long wait time. Being blamed for it all. My 8yo loves the pepperoni pizza - it's the perfect thin crust - crispy without being dry. For my dairy-free kid the no cheese pizza was surprisingly something I might consider ordering myself as they managed to fire the pizza without drying out the sauce. You'll probably only be super impressed if you get the white sauce. My fiance hates the place because the red sauce doesn't have a lot going for it and he likes his peppers uncooked and they wouldn't let him have them put on after they came out of the oven. I, however, love the place. But I only get the white sauce because I'm disappointed every time I give the red another shot. Worth a try, but definitely not for everyone. I have tried the pizza here on 3 different occasions. It has been good, not great. Each time it has been burned around the edges and barely done in the middle. I really love pizza and like a thin crispy crust, but this fails to be crispy except at the edges. Pizza peel (giant spatula used to slide pizza in/out of oven) was set on floor and leaned on oven. Worker then used the peel that had been sitting on the dirty floor on customers' pizzas. This included my pizza. After mine was removed from the oven it just sat there while all the employees socialized around it. I just walked out. I tried calling for a refund. After giving this place another try after the newness wore off, I gotta say it's awesome. I love the red hot sauce. It's a great tomato based sauce with the right amount of kick. As we approached at 1055 am there were people lined up t get in at lunch. Very clean place, very friendly people. Set up like a "subway" for pizza. Went down the line picking ingredients.... couldn't get the young lady t add extra cheese, even though my order was for anything and everything... I had sausage, pepperoni, ham, onion, and jalapeño...... the pizza cooked very fast..... there was a wonderful lady helping with drinks and seating..... the atmosphere and experience was wonderful.
