    pepperoni and mushroom pizza
    Michael S.

Since it was Pi Day, 3/14/26, I decided I had to get a pizza to celebrate the day so I went with Blaze Pizza. I had not been to Blaze Pizza in a long time so it was a breath of fresh air to come back here and see the nice upscale ambiance. It is a build your own pizza where you basically chose your crust and sauce, and decide what toppings and/or cheese you put on your pizza. It is basically similar to Chipotle, except it is pizza and not Mexican. The service was on point from the staff and they were very helpful in recommending toppings and pizza. I decided to go with a pepperoni, mushroom, feta cheese pizza with a balsamic glaze on top and a caprese salad. The pizza was excellent and very fresh gluten free crust. The balsamic glaze was a nice touch on the pizza and made it taste even better. The caprese salad was wonderful and refreshing. It was exactly what I needed to accompany the pizza. Blaze Pizza was a good way to celebrate Pi Day, and I'm glad I came here because I forgot how wonderful the pizza is and how great the service is from the staff. It was a wonderful treat to myself, and I hope to be back to Blaze Pizza very soon.

Food is quick and easy, plenty of dining space. Helpful staff. I go here because they have vegan cheese

Firstly: The food is amazing! Blaze consistently has the best "fast food" pizza. I love the create your own pizza and the ability to pick any toppings you want. The other huge positive: several gluten free options AND a dedicated gluten free line for the toppings. The things that aren't as great about this location: Sometimes the food line isn't super clean (not dirty necessarily but extra toppings that should be cleaned off the counter). When we ate in restaurant, they were out of diet soda. That's not the worst thing but they should have said something when I bought two fountain drinks. One important tip: You can get toppings added after it comes out of the oven. They don't like to advertise/offer much anymore but you can get things like arugula and olive oil. Overall, I still adore this chain and always look for it when traveling. This location is very dependable and very tasty.

It's like Subway for pizza :) I built my own while in-store, and it came out of the oven pretty quick! I've had issues in the past where the bottom of the pizza was overcooked, but this was perfectly well done. Blood orange lemonade was also pretty delicious!

Blaze use to be a favorite place of mine. I liked the options you have to create your own pizza. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. There's a lot of seating indoor and outdoor depending on your preference. There's also parking right in front of the building. Not a big deal at all, they have done away with straws. The lids for cups are like coffee cups. Their blood orange lemonade is delicious!!

The staff was fast, friendly and generous on the "heavy" on the this and that! I love the way that they make the pizza in front of you in an assembly line fashion similar to SUBWAY. The atmosphere is very chill! No tv's at this location and they are very reasonably priced! 10$ and some change for a personal pizza that is the size of a small. Thin and crispy crust... mine not so crispy in the middle because of me! LOLBVS! I had to have all the cherry tomatoes and fresh ricotta! Mmmm mmmm good!

Pizza was good, crust was crispy, the ricotta takes a lot of the flavor away and the oven could use a cleaning as the bottom of the pizza comes out black and not from being burnt

Had a spicy pepperoni pizza, it came with jalapeños and pepperoni and hot honey. Ice machine in the soda dispenser was out of ice so the beverages weren't really all that cold.

Seriously... the first pizza should be a meat lovers with onion and basil... (why does 1 slice have all the onions and it is not even the part of the onion you would eat) the second one should have pepperoni, onion, basil, garlic and jalapeño... there is zero basil, 5 pepperoni on part of the pizza, onion on 1 slice and some slices don't have toppings!!! Wtf

If you order online or using the app they won't bake your pie until you actually arrive in the store even though you pay online? Not great if you are in a hurry

They have the pizza ready to put in the oven since the pizza takes just a few minutes to bake. And they are horrible if they cool off too much. Then that would be a complaint waiting to happen. They baked my pizza a when I got it, it was cold and…

It looked like she was the only server on shift for the whole time we were there, meaning she was running throughout not only her section inside, but going outside as well! Despite being so busy, she made sure to check in on us multiple times. Our garlic bread was cheesy and tasty, although we wished it was a little more garlicky! My salad was very refreshing and quite large for a small portion. My husband loved his turkey sub as well! My husband enjoyed his pizza flavor wise, but he prefers thicker crusts. However for me, the crust was PERFECT! I love a thinner, greasy crust. NY style, CA style, and similar are my favorite. These pizzas are great for that! The only problem we ran into was the toppings. The kitchen accidentally messed up on my pizza and put a different topping than what I ordered. When Grace quickly had them remade it, the second pizza had the correct topping.... But was now missing a topping that was originally on the first pizza! It honestly didn't matter at that point, because the pizza was absolutely delicious. The cheese was stretchy, greasy, and gooey. The sauce was pleasant , and again I love a thin crispy crust! The management was kind enough to take off my pizza from our bill as an apology for the topping fiasco, without any complaint from us urging it. I would definitely love to have their pizza again!

My kids love their cheese sauce to dip their pizza in and the ranch is great. It is a little pricey as other have mentioned but the food quality is very good. Mostly the service is good and staff is very friendly. I do feel like they probably don't have as much staff as they should have so servers get busy going between tables outside, inside, and at the bar so there's times you need something and no one is around. I still give it 5 stars though just because it really is excellent food, way better than several other pizza places around.

Also, ordered a large The Butcher pizza. Again, it was marvelous! Excellent taste and loaded with pepperoni and sausage. Cooked just right. Buttery crust too! Where King Dough failed was on the Circuses as Channel 7 food critic James Ward used to call it. There's Breads and Circuses. Breads is the quality of the food. Tastiness, balance, quality and quantity. Circuses is the presentation, service and restaurant ambiance. Server failed to bring utensils, napkins and condiments with the food. We had to go to the front desk to get them. No bid deal, minor complaint. The server also did not cut and serve the first slice to me and my date. Further, the slices were not cut through so we had difficulty transferring the slices off the serving platter onto our plates. Lucky we didn't end up with a slice in our laps. No spatula provided. Had to ask for pepper, grated cheese and hot pepper. We dined outside. Should have been indoors. South facing patio was full sun for most of the meal. And there was an old chicken bone under our table. I wasn't expecting a Michelin experience but come on! Clean up the patio. The server apologized up front for the pitcher of water having tea stains on it. Maybe buy some new pitchers and use them exclusively for water? Makes me wonder if this restaurant is circling the drain if they can't afford net water pitchers. At least King Dough does not tack on a 3% charge for paying with a credit card which has become an annoyingly common standard practice in many restaurants.

This is a hot spot for a certain kind of Carmel crowd who wants to have a lil' cheeky drink on a day that ends in Y (or two drinks ... or three. They don't judge at Pizzology.) Or so I'm told. I got boots on the ground reporting for me. But it's also a restaurant for families. And a restaurant for casual dates. And a restaurant if you just want great food. Pizzology gets wood-fired pizza right. The crust is chewy yet slightly charred and crispy in all the right places. The pizza flavor offerings are simple but also creative. They have a dozen or so chef-crafted pizzas, so you can order a pizza that has been thoughtfully created. But if you want to go rogue, then you can also create your own pizza from ingredients like peppadew peppers, corn puree (what?), smoked mozzarella, asparagus and lots more. Large pizzas feed two, maybe three people. Small pizzas will feed one person. I was with a group of people, and we ordered a variety of things. The best thing that I tasted was The Varro, which is a pizza with red sauce, pork meatballs, fresh garlic, blobs of ricotta, parmesan cheese and parsley. This is one amazing pizza! I specifically ordered this pizza for the ricotta blobs, but I left with the memory of the garlic. Woah! If you like garlic or need to ward off vampires, this is the pizza for you. Other things we got included the Margherita pizza, which was so good and simple, with lots of fresh basil. And The Bama (white Alabama barbecue sauce, chili flakes, grilled chicken, banana peppers, caramelized onions and mozzarella). The Bama is spicer than you might think, but it was very tasty. Other people at the table got salads and bread sticks, and they were very happy with them, so I feel like you can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu here. The wine list is decent here! You'll find some nice wines at OK prices. They also have a wide variety of cocktails, plus a small beer menu. Hours are limited, as Pizzology is only open for dinner, starting at 4 p.m. If you're visiting on a Friday or weekend, I'd call to make a reservation. This place fills up quickly!

The menu consists of Antipasti, pasta, salads, and pizza. They also have desserts of tiramisu, cannelloni and cheesecake. We ordered the Amanti Della Carne pizza. It consisted of mozzarella, pepperoni, homemade sausage, signature, tomato sauce, ham, and mortadella. All pizzas are 12 inch and thin crust. Our pizza was $17. We also ordered the spring salad for $7. It consisted of spring mix, tomatoes, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. The spring salad was good. The lettuce was fresh and nicely seasoned with the dressing. We really liked the homemade balsamic dressing. The pizza was very good and had a lot of toppings. As mentioned there is no variety or choice of size. The pizza only comes in a 12 inch, which was eight slices. Also, there is no choice of crust thickness. It is all a reasonably thin crust. Not a cracker thin crust, but thinner than most pizzas. We really liked it. The table next to us ordered pasta. They said it was delicious. They asked our server if the pasta was made fresh in the house. The server replied that it was. Service was very good, friendly, and prompt. It appears they do a big takeout business as while we were dining we saw several people come in and pick up pizzas to go. We recommend if you were in the area
