I'm shocked and amazed at how quickly they assemble and cook the pizzas here. I can literally go from ordering a pizza to having a slice in my mouth in about five minutes. To be able to get amazing food so quickly: What a time to be alive! Homeboy behind the counter had his movements down to a science: spread sauce, sprinkle cheese, add toppings, oven, slice, slide into the box, and done. No wasted movements, no dilly-dallying. It was like watching a finely tuned machine make my pizza. And the pizza: It is-a great-a! The crust is chewy and crisp in all the right places, and the pizza sauce is tangy and just a tiny bit sweet. The toppings were in the right proportion, and everything just tasted delicious together. The pizzas come in one size, which can easily feed two people, or one very hungry person. I ate half my pizza for dinner, then ate the rest for lunch the next day, and it tasted almost as good as the day before when it was fresh and hot. read more

Good place for a quick take out pizza. You can make your own or choose one of their signature pizzas. I like to switch it up depending on my mood. If I make my own I get pepperoni and mushrooms. If I get a signature I like the green stripe. The size of the pizzas is good for one person if you're super hungry or you could split a pizza with kids or someone else and get a salad on the side. They have so many combos of ingredients that everyone in your family will be happy! read more

I've been to Blaze several times in the last year and a half, and I'm definitely a fan of this new 'Subway' style format for pizza. At Blaze, their ingredients are always fresh, and the service always seems to be pretty good. I do have one suggestion: The area where you pickup your pizza is too small. A backlog of people always forms around that area, blocking access to the fountain drink dispensers. I don't know what can be done about it, but it does get pretty challenging at peak times of the day, like noon and 6pm. Other than that, I recommend the red spicy sauce on the Link-In. Tables were dirty. No attempt to clean made for our 45 minutes of being there. Chair were also dirty. When you grab a chair to slide it out from the table, it's sticky and gross. I went to Blaze Pizza for the first time 4-5 years ago, when build-your-own pizzas with the possibility of unlimited toppings, all for 1 price, was groundbreaking enough to knock your socks off. Along with the wood-fired crust and, at the time, timely service, it blew me away. Years later, it still holds its own, although the concept is far, far less novel. I ordered Blaze in April and actually got sick from it (possibly due to the faux chorizo I added that didn't really seem to sit well with me) so I was, of course, hesitant to order again - although major kudos to the GM who, upon seeing my feedback, sent me a voucher for a free pizza, dessert, and drink to make up for it - A+ for customer service! I had seen an advertisement for a new cheesy bread (which is an item I can NEVER turn down) so I decided to use my 'voucher' to give this a try. It's essentially a simple pie without the red sauce and, if you like, garlic and oregano is added (all on an olive oil and cheese base). The crust had a nice char to it, it wasn't too heavy at all, and I was glad to have some sauces to dip into - I even used some jarred marinara at home since I'm not a big fan of Blaze's red sauce. The s'mores pie is good in theory but frankly just sad looking. If it wasn't free for me, I wouldn't have gotten it. But I will be back again for a pizza, probably sooner than later, and also to try their famed garlic knots that I've heard so, so much about. read more

Blaze is a place where you can build your own pizza. You walk to a counter and they build the pizza while you select the ingredients. They have a wide range of options. For pizza dough, they offer regular dough (which is a thinner type crust), gluten free (which is Vegan), cauliflower, high rise, and Keto. For sauces they offer standard red sauce (either all over the pizza or in dollops), spicy red sauce, white cream sauce, and garlic pesto. For cheese, they offer mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmesan, ricotta, feta, goat, and vegan. Given all this, you can well imagine the variety of meats and vegetables they have that you can add to your pizza! We like Blaze Pizza because, not only can you create a pizza just the way you want, but all the ingredients are fresh. To us, the taste is different and unique from other pizza restaurants ... it has a "fresh from your garden" taste. Give it a try and you will see what I mean! The 11" build your own pizza feeds both my wife and me. And, at $8.45 it is a great value in our opinion! If everyone wants to build their own, it makes great left overs as well. We like the spicy red sauce but a word of warning .... It is spicy. We get the regular dough and mozzarella cheese. We top it with almost all the ingredients (meat and vegetables) they have to offer. After all, its only $8.45 for whatever you want on the pizza! So feel free to add all the grilled chicken, ground beef, Italian Sausage, pepperoni, salami, ham, meatballs, chorizo, and bacon that you want. Now, that's what I call a "meat lovers" pizza! A few tips-- use the online ordering especially if it's lunch time because the line can be long. The staff is good about moving people through the line, but when I made the mistake of not ordering ahead the lunch line was almost to the door. Another tip- they have a half pizza for $5 during lunch-- the menu lists that you have to get a salad or garlic Knots and then the combo is $7 or $8 bucks -- sure you can order this combo but for lunch the half pizza by itself is my go to. You customize your pizza so if you don't like - then I can't help ya there haha! I like to put goat cheese, olives, artichokes and mushrooms on mine - sometimes ovalinini mozzarella and bacon too.... If you download the blaze app you get random coupons for free drinks or desserts and after you earn enough points you get a free pizza Final tip sometimes less topping is best - I've witnessed a lot of people who get everything topping and it can be a little all over the place on flavor. read more

Blaze is generally delicious, but this one receives some extra live for *perfectly* balancing their pizza toppings. The arugula was not dumped on like mozzarella (looking at you Eddy St. location), there was the perfect amount of gorgonzola and bbq sauce. Love. The blood orange lemonade was delicious, as always. Straws weren't out and cup kids were non- existant, but that's a minor inconvenience. The restroom was clean. Oh.My.Gawd. I can't remember the last time I got this excited over pizza. Blaze is Ah-mazing! It tastes exactly like you would expect it to, maybe better. I wish we had one on the south side of Indy because this place is so good. It's like the Qdoba of pizza. You go through the line picking out your delicious toppings and in like 7 minutes you have a fresh, hot, crispy, delicious pizza oozing with cheese and whatever your heart desires. LOVE the half and half option! I really wanted both pizza and cheesy bread and this was the best of both worlds! Perfect amount for one person (even with some leftovers). I even went out and wanted to try the cauliflower crust pizza. It was delicious! I did end up having to air fry it for a bit to crisp it up but still very good. I've always enjoyed the pizza and the cheesy bread hit the spot as well. Now knowing about this deal I will definitely be ordering more frequently! We ordered my daughter an 11 inch pizza, and we placed instructions for them to make 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 of the pizza pineapple(it only had like 6 itty bitty pineapple).Instead they mixed the 2 ingredients together and only gave her 1/2 of the pizza and we had to pay for a whole pizza! Do I feel a little odd answering "Blaze" to people when they ask what my favorite pizza is? Yes ... after all, it is a fast-casual chain restaurant. I do stand by the answer, however. Ever since trying my first "Build Your Own" pizza at the downtown Indy location years ago, I have been hooked. I love spicy food. Their spicy red pizza sauce gives just the right kick ... in addition to the red pepper flakes I put on all pizza. There is not a single pizza sauce I've ever tasted that is better. They also have standard red, white and pesto. And the crust, dear lord. For someone who is a thin crust fan, this crust is the BEST. Perfectly crispy, but a little chewy at the same time, just the right amount of salty flavor ... mmmmm so good. Now because of this crust and the fast-firing process, the one downside to Blaze I guess is that I would not recommend taking them to go. I did one time because I just wanted to be home after a 12-hour shift, and while all the yummy topping flavors were still there, there was no longer any crust integrity. If you must take a pizza to go, it is at the peril of your enjoyment of this pizza. I will only stay in the restaurant and eat. About the toppings, yes, they have some custom pies you can just order from the board, but I honestly don't know why you ever would because you can go down the line looking at all the delicious toppings and create WHATEVER. YOU. WANT. They have many, many to choose from. You can go plain-Jane standard or fancier with feta, goat cheese, roasted garlic and the like. This is the location I go to most often now because of proximity to home and work, and I will say of all the ones I've been to, this particular location is staffed with some dopey folks. I would like to deduct half a star for this, but since you can't, I love the pizza so much that I'm keeping it a 5. My pizza still comes out great for the most part, but you really have to help them along when it comes to spreading your toppings evenly around your pizza and such. read more

I am a simple guy and don't like a lot of extra toppings on my pizza. I do love that they have a wide variety of cheeses and meats, but all I need is banana peppers and green olives with my ham, bacon, and peperoni. The pizzas are made fast. Their app is great. You can earn rewards and even order in the app. They sometimes send rewards or you can earn them. I like they have added some salads and they even had desserts. I usually get a diet to drink, but they have some seasonal frescos. They have a holiday gift card special where you get a free pizza with $25 card. So we will be back soon! They had signs that said if you could sit there to keep social distancing and everyone wore masks. read more

I absolutely love this unique pizza spot. The service is fast, friendly and enthusiastic and the pizzas are really good. The price is definitely affordable at $6.95 for an unlimited topping build-your-own pizza or just $5.00 for a one-topping. But who could stop at one topping? After seeing the huge variety of quality toppings I guarantee you will choose more than one. Roasted garlic? Check. Artichoke? Check. Three varieties of olives? Check. Roasted red peppers, mushrooms, carmelized onions, red onions, fresh basil.......a quick count and I noted 7 meats, 17 veggies, 6 cheeses, vegan cheese, 3 sauces, 3 drizzles plus spices and sea salt. This is a great place to take kids, they can have fun choosing their own toppings and building an individual pizza they will love. Easy parking, quick service means you can be in and out quicker than sitting in the drive thru line at a fast food joint. All pizzas are on a thin 11 inch crust, and no matter if you build your own or pick a signature pizza pie, they are all $7.45. Unlimited toppings, too! What a deal. The young worker explained the process to us and the menu once he found out we were first timers. I appreciated that he went the extra mile to help us out. We got the Lin Kin and a build your own, and both were ready to go in about five minutes. Not freaky fast, but not slow, either. The pizzas were good, but not great. Had been some time since we last ate at Blaze, and pizza sounded awesome on a cold drizzly day. The slow-moving line was a touch irritating, but seems to be a product of their business model (SO MUCH customization) rather than efficiency. Ordered the "Art Pizza" - yay artichokes!- and added sausage at no additional cost. Waiting area very cramped, and hard to hear your name called above the din. Hey management, why not supply pagers or assign order numbers when it's busy? But all is good, as the wait wasn't long. Now to the pizza - while I like my chicken blackened, a pizza crust is a whole other food group. Unfortunately, the bottom of my pizza was burnt, as black and hard as the old fashioned blackboard-from-school. Ugh. A bite of the pizza confirmed it was past it's prime. Went up to the counter and here's where this place shined - a young guy named John about turned somersaults to help us out. Left the line to make a new one, personally delivered it to our table (with a free pizza coupon) and followed up several times to be sure we were satisfied. Solidly impressive, especially coming from someone who was probably young in their career. The replacement pizza was absolutely delish! Oh, and between bites, the manager also stopped by to be sure we were satisfied.
