I went up there at The time the app said it was done and it was not. Kept checking, they were so busy and understaffed. I kept seeing a little container they kept pushing to the side, and it was the meatballs sitting idk how long. another 30 minutes one pizza was ready. Another 30 minutes after that the 2nd pizza was ready. And took forever for someone to a knowledge me to ask about drinks or the cookies. Blaze is new, a little north of that Panda place at the corner of Carmel Drive and Pennsylvania. That's the red light you used to run so you could speed up and run the red light at US31. Blaze has a different way of making pizza that is really pretty cool. Their dough is a little different and they put it into a sort of pre-cooker that gets is ready for the toppings, as opposed to raw dough. Makes cooking the pizza pretty fast. One size fits all and you can get about anything you want on your pizza for one price. Or choose from some awesome combos. Pizza tastes great. Get the sea salt. Really adds to the flavor and who doesn't like salt? Drinks are reasonable or you can get a bottled drink. No beer as of this writing. It's very friendly to families. Let Junior get his pineapple, ham, and hot pepper pizza. Indoor and outdoor seating in a pleasant quiet area. Can't lose. read more

That's basically what you get with Blaze: fresh ingredients, made to order, with industrial chic decor. I enjoyed the pizza and got the $3 side salad. The place is loud volume-wise, loud enough I had trouble hearing the staffer taking our orders. Concrete floors, hard surfaces, exposed ceiling, yeah I've seen this build before and it's starting to bore me. Next time I will get the pizza to go and skip the loud dining experience and the winter blast of arctic air that blows in every time the door opens. I love Blaze pizza. It's by far the best quick chipotle-style pizza franchise. Did you know it's owned by the same founders of Wetzel's pretzels and was founded in Pasadena, California?! Anyways, Blaze has a great variety of ingredients that lend itself to countless combinations, you have no excuse to not find something you like. They have pre-made combinations if you feel overwhelmed or that you can tweak from. The staff are flexible about giving you as much or as little of anything you want. I personally get double sauce on my pizza and recommend giving their sausage a try. The crust is always crispy and satisfying and they've recently added high-rise crust and gluten free options as well. If you pizza is too burnt, which happens every so often if they get overwhelmed, just let them know and they'll make you a new one. A single pizza is usually very filling and the prices very reasonable. Overall, I've had great experiences at Blaze and appreciate their willingness to remake pizzas if you are unsatisfied. It seems they really care about you having a good experience which is refreshing for a "fast food" place. I would definitely give this place a try if you've never been. read more

Blaze is a great option if you are in the mood for a cheap, tasty, pizza--fast! I even have a friend who doesn't like pizza, *gasps* but she really enjoys Blaze because of the white sauce and the ability to customize your pizza. Their special drinks are unique and their blood orange lemonade--OMG...YUM. The only problem is that the line can be a little long at lunchtime. They do have a order-ahead feature online that allows you to just pick up your pizza and skip the line, but doing that you can miss out on some of the ingredients and customization pieces. read more

We came back here after many years because of their new keto crust pizza. I have to say even for a Wednesday night it was quite busy but they have a system to get everyone through the line quickly. Everyone had great customer service and were very professional. The keto pizza was just okay. It's not as good as regular pizza but I think that's to be expected. It's impressive they have keto crust at all! Make sure to call ahead because I hear they run out of keto crust often. We also got a few regular crust pizzas and those were decent. Hubby and I used to come here every couple weeks, but we wanted to try other places in Carmel. We finally came back after a few years, and I'm not terribly impressed. Hubby got a build your own pizza which worked well for him. And since I have different tastes, I got something that soundsd more fit to my palette. Unfortunately, mine is horribly bland. The roasted garlic tastes nothing like garlic, barely any red onions, overall, the only part that stood out was the artichokes, which there weren't many of. I'm not saying this place is bad. **Very incompetent staff..do not place an online order for this location!** I don't think I've ever encountered such an incompetent staff as the one at this location. I recently placed an online order at 5 pm for two pizzas and a Greek salad for pickup at 6 pm at this location. I arrived about 10 minutes before 6 pm to pick up the pizzas. The food was not ready so I waited until about 6:15 before asking if they had my order. They assured me that they had order and they're working on it. At 6:30 pm I inquired again and was told that it would be ready soon. Then at 6:45 pm I checked again and they said they were still working on it. The frustrating part is if I had just waited in line instead of ordering the food online I would have had it much earlier as people who arrived well after I had gotten there were being served first. There were other people there who had also placed online orders for pickup at the same time and they had the same experience and were also very frustrated. They just totally ignored the online orders which every other restaurant always prioritizes. After being there about an hour waiting I finally had to leave with no food. I had the manager give me a refund and left hungry. I submitted a complaint on their website and they said they would comp my meal the next time I'm there but gave me no instructions on how to redeem this offer and have not responded to my requests for clarification. Bottom line..avoid this place. You'll go away hungry and frustrated. read more

The gluten free crust is basically a soggy saltine cracker. Toppings are sparse, and there is very little cheese or sauce. Disappointing.

Let me preface this by saying the lady who made my pizza and cut my pizza was great. She was friendly and welcoming; the food was hot, it tasted great. The big issue was that the male employee cooking the pizzas was eating his own pizza right next to the oven while wearing gloves. The same gloves that are worn to assure customers that they're being careful to not contaminate the customer's food. I watched very carefully, and was prepared to ask him to change gloves before touching my food, but thankfully, he left, and someone else helped me. Someone did come out from the back and tell him he couldn't eat there but he had already been doing it for 5-10 mins at that point so the damage was done. read more

Waited about 15 minutes longer than the app stated. The crust was flimsy from the oil accidentally poured on the pizza, and the bottom covered in burnt and uncooked flour. The pepperonis didn't really have a taste, which was weird. The pizza wasn't cut all the way through, and while that doesn't seem like a big deal, the extra 15 minute wait made it so that I needed to try to inhale this food on my way back to work. Because it wasn't cut all the way through, that wasn't really possible. Final opinion, wait - bad, pizza - bad, coke - somehow bad. MOD is the better choice, though about 10 minutes away. read more

Sadly in Bloomington, Indiana, there isn't a Blaze Pizza so whenever I have the chance to go, I get super excited! Blaze Pizza is, by far, one of my favorite pizza places that I've tried so far. The great quality paired with the cheap prices and the quick service makes this company one of the best! I always order the "build your own" pizza because you can add UNLIMITED toppings and the topping choices are of great variety. The ingredients/toppings themselves are of good quality. I been to this specific location many times and they have always been as fast and efficient as they could be with a make your own pizza place!! HOWEVER, today I went and I stood there waiting for someone to start my pizza when there were 2 people working on the to-go orders and 5 people behind me in line. Then the cooked pizzas were backed up, again prioritizing the to-go orders over the people standing and waiting!! 2 pizzas had to be remade (one dropped and one burnt)!!! I worked late and thought Pizza would be a good idea for dinner. My first thought was to stop by the grocery store and pick up a few things and head on home and prepare a homemade keto Pizza. As I was wrapping up my shift it dawned on me there were a few pizza joints that would prepare my pizza keto Style so I decided to go with Blaze since I work near them and I had to pass them on my way home. I used the mobile app to order two keto Pizzas, the total was over $27 and I wish I never hit the send button! The pizzas were nasty, flavorless, worthless. I'm pretty sure they gave me cauliflower crust. I was certain of that from the first bite but I confirmed it when my husband ate his. This place. AMAZING pizza. Seriously, so good, especially for the price. But the thing is, going there is an experience; and not a great one. The whole assembly line is a circus. Think 7 teenagers having a jolly good time, shouting, talking amongst themselves, putting wrong toppings on pizzas while they have a line out the door. It's not really the teenagers's fault- they're just doing what teenagers do. What I'm saying is they need a captain, because no one is sailing the ship. It's carnage. Oh and if you ask for a gluten free pizza, the entire assembly line comes to a screeching halt, and panic ensues while they try to figure out where the dough is or how to operate the gluten free oven. Getting through the line is an ordeal. I could get through the line at chipotle next door three separate times at lunch while getting through the line at Blaze maybe once... if I'm lucky. Online orders have proved equally disastrous- pizza being 15 minutes late, wrong toppings. "Why do I keep coming back to this place" you may ask. Because the pizza is crack. It's so so good. Just order online and cross your fingers Update: this place totally and completely sucks. Since my last review I've ordered from here approximately 5 times. Each time has been a colossal disaster. Most of the time, the toppings are totally screwed up- missing toppings, extra toppings, you name it. The last time I went, against my better judgement, I didn't check the pizza before I left. Big mistake. I get home to the most poorly constructed pizza I've ever seen with no toppings- only cheese. Tonight was the last straw. I go in and get my pizza (they were about 15 minutes late making it), open the box, it looks great. Get it home, ready to enjoy my yummy pizza, just to realize they didn't even cut it. Lots of obvious comparisons to Chipotle and with as popular as they have gotten that obviously understandable and accurate. I had been excited to try Blaze once I heard there was going to be one near by as it didn't disappoint. With all of the different choices they give you my wife and I didn't want to overdo it on our first try so we ordered two of the specialty pizzas the Meat Eater and the White top as well as a couple of s'more pies. All of it was very good although after looking over the menu closer while eating I think we both narrowed down what sounded best and what we would get next time as a make your own. The service was very good and very quick. The line got long just after we got in but the employees kept it moving very well. read more

Blaze had been on my mind the moment I heard it was officially open. Naturally I began planning the right time to indulge in a delicious 11" thin crust pizza. The area where Blaze is stationed is right next to Which Wich, Panda Express, Zoup, Chipotle (coming soon). They really need to do something about the parking situation in that whole general area until then I avoid it like the plague until after 12:30. Let's Eat Shall We! I love thin crust pizza and Blaze didn't disappoint! On this occasion I ordered one of their signature pizzas the Red Vine. I added sea salt & oregano and it was excellent! Perfect amount of topping verses crispy crust ratio. I washed it down with a Blood Orange Lemonade. I am still unsure if I really enjoyed this sugary concoction or if I needed to fuel my sweet tooth. Either way I guzzled down a whole sickly sweet glass before my pizza came out of the oven and quickly got a refill. I got both the pizza and lemonade for around $10. They Aim to Please! You choose as little or as much topping as you would like and they are happy to accommodate. Each person handling your order uses your name however, I found this almost a little creepy when I was the only one in line. My name kinda echoed throughout the quiet industrial space... In Conclusion! I came at 1pm. There was plenty of parking. I was in-out in 8 minutes. I had a great lunch for $10. You can add and subtract whatever you like all for $6.95. You get your own personal pizza cut into six slices. The crust is super thin since it is fast fired in their huge brick oven. And the quality control behind the scenes is impeccable! They had a guy who was solely in charge of trimming the extra burnt crust off, just to ensure the tasty-est of pizzas. I have two words for you: VEGAN. CHEESE. No, I'm not vegan. But, I am dairy intolerant! So, when I found out that Blaze had vegan cheese after my...5th trip there, you KNOW I had to try it out! Up until that point, I had faced the dairy intolerance issues just to get a taste of that delicious fast-fired pizza. Now that I know I don't have to be sick and uncomfortable after enjoying one of my favorite quick spots, I can let loose! My go to is the Simple Pie. It's your choice of sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan (or VC for me!) and that is it. You have the choice to add sea salt and oregano to the top OR, and this is my favorite thing, pesto to the outer crust. I also fluctuate between the regular red and the spicy red. I have had it with pesto all over and it tastes like a delicious garlic, cheese bread. I think out of all of the sauce options, spicy red takes the cake. It's tangy, somewhat spicy, savory, and has chunks of garlic cloves throughout. It is everything you could possibly want in a sauce! When it comes to the crust, it gets so perfectly crisp and charred in the oven. It's thin and chewy and, like mentioned, gets crusty and charred to perfection. Now, finally, what you've all been waiting for: the review of the vegan cheese... it is AMAZING! It melts almost identically like the regular cheese, but has this amazing gooey quality to it that you don't see in regular cheese, which really makes it for me! While I always get the simple pie, I have tried pizzas with multiple toppings. The one thing I will say is, Blaze's pizza doesn't need all of the toppings. It's delicious in its simplest form. With that being said, the variety of toppings they do have is awesome! There is literally something for everyone. Finally, the other thing that I absolutely love about Blaze besides the vegan cheese and the quickness in which it's prepared is the price! You all, you can get a medium sized simple pie for $5.94! That is less than the chipotle burrito you can get next door and probably healthier for you (these facts have not been researched)! read more

Blaze...it's like a maze trying to navigate to the "order" counter. I really didn't care that I backtracked my way around from the "pickup" since no one was in line. My lunch buddy and I decided to build our own pizzas. After all, it is choose any toppings, all one price. I literally like my pizza loaded with my daily servings of the food pyramid to the point where I can't even pick it up anymore. The young workers there don't seem enthusiastic at all. It's the "IDGAF" attitude plastered everywhere. The girl putting the toppings on my pizza was rolling her eyes. Okay...I'm not into 1 topping or cheese pizzas from elementary school. Sorry that I inconvenienced you with a huge topping load. I waited patiently for them to call out a name/number/whatever. Turn the techno/dance music down a notch and maybe I don't have to stand right in front of the oven to hear what's being called out. When I went to pick up my pizza, I asked for a finishing douse of arugula since it's included. The sassy cook/keeper of the sacred stone oven sighed loudly and bluntly asked me if I have cashed out while I already did 5 minutes ago. Me? A cheap pizza thief? I think not. For a fast, fresh, budget friendly, customized pizza, I mean...it was good, but it didn't blow me out of the water. Maybe not the best place to have a conversation since I felt like I was in a Verizon wireless commercial: "Can you hear me now? How about now?". Still filthy! This restaurant has poor management when it comes to cleanliness. Every time I have been there, it has been disgustingly dirty AND all of the employees just stand around during idle time. I was certainly disappointed to see it even dirtier than when I yelped about it a month ago. Management needs to step up and demonstrate what the expectations are for a clean and tidy dining room. YES! This is the spot! I co-sign that this is the Qdoba/Chipotle equivalent of a pizza spot...not a bad thing at all. In an essence its a build your own pizza bar that actually has toppings I want on my pie. I recently got the chance to try this place out for takeout. I went for the build your own pizza option (natch...) and I really had to take a moment and a breath...I wanted everything on my pizza! But in an effort to avoid those pitfalls of over topping my pizza (much like when I was a lil chubby kid at a ice cream bar) I had to focus my cravings...all the while building future pizza combos in my head. For my inaugural visit, I went with the regular sauce (the staff was nice enough to also let me try the spicy, which is actually spicy...maybe next time.) I also went with artichokes, bacon, goat cheese and garlic. Crust-Super thin which is great since your gonna end up eating that whole pizza by yourself Sauce-Very flavorful. They also offer spicy and a white sauce. Toppings-Super fresh and REAL ingredients. The goat cheese was crumbled and tasty, the artichokes were actual artichokes, not leafy sliver that once were artichokes. I also got fresh arugula to top my pizza which was awesome. I have eaten at this location a couple times as it's within walking distance of work. I have always had pretty great experiences and great pizza. Today takes the cake of experiences... my pizza was ready when I walked in, but there was an employee in the dining room booth ( with a no dining ordinance) with a pizza asleep.
