The customer service is always top notch when I come in. For my Greensboro folk, they employ folks that give off the Mellow Mushroom vibe! Yeah. I always get garlic pesto over my entire pizza and crust, Italian sausage, bacon, pepperoni, basil, roasted garlic, Kalamata olives, and oregano. It takes less than 5 minutes to cook in the wood fired pizza oven they use. I finish my pizza with a drizzle of pesto and balsamic vinegar. My mouth thinks me every single time! If you like pizza this place is a great alternative to those places that charge you $1.50 or so for a single topping to be added. They have several options for both crust types and pizzas but the "build your own" option is what works for me because I am a vege lover. You can choose what you'd like without breaking the bank (around $12) The pizza is straight out of the oven and you don't have that half hour wait time. I've been to this Blaze location several times. They have been consistently good. On this particular visit, the restaurant was especially busy. The curbside line outside was backed-up and the line inside was wrapped around the wall. We decided to wait and hope it wouldn't take too long. I was definitely impressed with the staff. The line was moving incredibly smoothly. It didn't take too long at all. The staff was very friendly and really seemed to keep their cool. Understandable, It was a little tough finding somewhere to sit and the tables were getting a little dirty. I created my own 2-topping pizza. They have plenty of sauce, cheese, veggie, and meat options. Everything looked pretty fresh. I ordered pepperoni & pineapples (yeah, I know. Lol). As a walk in customer I was actually treated pretty poorly. I could see the online orders being worked on right in front of me. 1 at a time. It was honestly frustrating. I spoke up and basically said I was wondering what was happening, as I'd been standing there and hadn't been helped.. Fast forward to getting my pizza made. It was meticulous. The staff did one small piece of the ingredients i wanted and dispersed them beautifully evenly. That's a positive. Then I stood for like 8 more minutes and was never asked to pay. It was confusing. I spoke up after seeing my pizza come out.... There were 6 people working behind the counter. They didn't seem to know how to be friendly and service and handle orders. Maybe too many online orders and no direction? I am happy that I can finally recommend someone a place and they enjoy it as much as I do. The first time I visited I ordered a create-your-own (not pictured). They have two lemonades to choose from, regular and blood orange. For my drink, I ordered a blood orange lemonade. This time at this location I ordered a "white top". The white top is a white cream sauce, mozzarella, bacon, garlic, oregano, and arugula. I asked to remove the oregano and arugula and add spinach based on my personal preference. It was delicious!!!! I am a fan of Blaze Pizza, but I would recommend other locations rather than this one. The seating and tables were not very clean, the manager isn't very friendly, but the other staff are nice enough. They have an assembly line plan from taking the order until cutting it. Alex took my order. I ordered a 2 top pizza with keto crush. My toppings was pepperoni and sausage. Bri started making my pizza. I got classic red sauce and mozzarella cheese. Another lady (wasn't wearing name tag) finished making my pizza. I got oregano added on the end Note: My total was $13.26.... keto is so expensive :( It was $4 extra for the keto crust. It would've only been $8.25 i think, if I had gotten regular crust. While I was waiting for my pizza to cook, I went to the bathroom. It was clean and smelled good. I even took a selfie! Lol. When I got out, my pizza was ready. I decided to eat inside. The pizza was warm. I wish it was a tad hotter, but not a huge deal. Overall, pizza was good. I'm not sure how I feel about the keto crust. It's just.. idk. Tastes different. I made homemade pizzas using low carb tortillas at home and they're amazing. This crust taste keto hahahaha. Staff was friendly. No complaints. Oh the weariness of relying on the help from others to do things well. Ordered a simple salad and pizza for dinner. I had it delivered hoping it would come as requested. The pizza was OK. A bit under cooked but edible. I ordered it with mushroom and red peppers. I'm guessing 7 to 8 mushrooms and about 10 red peppers. The side salad was $4.95. There was nothing on the salad except a small amount of lettuce, some grated cheese, and a bunch of stale croutons. The amount of salad would fit inside 1measuring cup. The lettuce tasted old. Value of the salad was closer to $.15. Credit to the salad dressing, though I didn't have a choice, it was good. The meal was supposed to come with a free drink. When I placed the order online I followed up with a phone call to remind them of the drink that came with it... Do you think they delivered the drink? Can't beat a build-your-own pizza joint, as in the subway of pizza. There are so many options for toppings to appeal for a wide range of diets/preferences. I also really like that the prep area is all open to the point that I can watch them place my pizza in the oven and box it up. I feel so confident leaving here knowing that my food wasn't dropped on the floor (at least not after the heat had killed the germs)! I went to Blaze pizza for lunch. Surprisingly, the line wasn't too long at all. Once I got to the front of the line, I was greeted quite enthusiastically by one of the workers. To my nature, I had a few questions and the enthusiastic guy, answered them all very patiently and I was able to make a decision on what I wanted. I ended up getting a half pizza and salad combo for lunch. I definitely made the right decision. My pizza consisted of the spicy red sauce, pepperonis, bacon and green peppers.
