I had a disappointing experience at MOD Pizza and won't return to this location. I ordered TWO pizzas with garlic cloves, green peppers and mushrooms, but NONE OF THOSE ingredients were cooked in the first attempt. When I asked for a remake, the staff (cook with uncovered Afro ) gave me an attitude. Despite a second try, the garlic and mushrooms, and green peppers were still uncooked. Pictures of the second attempt are picture in this review. Now, I have to go home and fully cook the pizza they couldn't get right after two attempts and with attitude. Additionally, none of the staff here wears any kind of hair protection to prevent their hair from getting in the pizza and ingredients. In my opinion both the staff and ownership of this location need an overhaul. MOD Pizza needs to step up its game and provide better service. Pizza prices changed- used to be one price for a pizza; now you have to let them know before you start if they are just cheese,one topping, or multiple toppings before they start. Fine, no biggie. Pizza are smaller than they used to be. Extremely skimpy with toppings. Get to checkout; and we give them the receipt that shows how many pizzas/toppings, and the guy tells us to go throw that away. This location used to be amazing. However, in the past 2-3 years the customer service and speed have completely tanked. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a shift in ownership during that time. It will sometimes take 20-30 minutes just to order inside of the dining room (when there are only 2-4 people in front of you in line). It is almost as if they are trying to make in person-ordering so painful and slow that you'll exclusively order through the app. Mobile orders have such a high priority at this location that if you have not ordered on the app you are shrugged off while they make people's food who are still in their houses. I used to love eating here back when they prioritized in person customers but now I dread eating here. First and likely last time I will visit this place. The pizza itself was decent, nothing special by any means, but the service was awful. There was one guy who worked hard the entire time we were there, making pizzas and ringing up customers, so I want to offer a better review for his sake but the two other coworkers make that impossible to do. The girl that was assigned to put pizzas in the oven and cut them practically refused to acknowledge customers and was slamming down plates to those who were waiting. She also left our order sitting out because "it didn't have a number." Thankfully we started noticing orders after ours that were picking up and decided to go check, so ours pizzas weren't completely cold. No clue how long they had been ready. There was another guy that left the front when we first walked in, I'm assuming he was a manager as he was older than the other two employees. He also preferred to ignore customers and I'm guessing he chose to take his break just as they got busy which left the younger guy manning both the pizzas and register. While waiting for our food, a very strong smell of weed came from the men's bathroom and shortly after he emerged glassy eyed and went back to making pizzas. I understand this isn't exactly "fine dining" by any means but you could at least take your recreational activities out to your car so patrons don't have to smell that strong odor while eating. And if that was in fact the manager, those actions lead to even more concerns about how the place is ran. Major props to the guy that worked hard and kept a good attitude in spite of the circumstances. I'm sure his work ethic will lead to a brighter future than this job will offer him. Mod pizza has come a long way ! I really enjoy the fast casual service and being able to watch my food as it's made. I wish I knew he young man's name because what makes this place are the people ! He has locks , medium brown skin and stands about 6,3 can't be older than 20 ( update his name is Michael) . He is the only person who spreads the toppings on the pizza as they should be and does not dump vegan cheeses as if I have some type of lactose deficiency. So I came here very soon after they opened for lunch. The place had three other people and about 5 workers. I was greeted when I arrived and explained how the mini pizza work. What I was told was crazy!!! I could get whatever I wanted for the menu prize. That's freaking insane. All other pizza places charge you per item but I could get as little or as much as I wanted on this pizza...lets go. Once my order was placed, it spent about 7 minutes in the oven and I was out the door. The pizza itself was good. Some parts of the crust's edge was burnt to a crisp but it wasn't enough to complain about as I understand the oven can get really hot. It was thin and crispy which was nice. Haven't eaten in this Mod since Covid. What a huge change for the worse. The employees were all unfriendly. All wearing their AirPods - which is a huge customer service turn off for me. We were there within an hour of opening and it was so dirty inside. We were the only people inside, so it basically looked like they closed the doors the night before with the place filthy. Full trash bags propped up by the door. The drink machine and counter were disgusting - red fruit punch puddles all over. Not all of the soda options were working. No way that drink machine has been wiped down in weeks - I can't even imagine the filth in the nozzles. Pizza was undercooked and soggy, which was a big disappointment as it's not cheap. We've been to this Mod Pizza several times. I have to say that it has really declined. Today, the food was overall fine. Though I think $41 for 2 pizzas and 2 small salads is over the top. However, I will not return to this place simply for the overall lack of cleanliness. Floors were nasty, all the tables were dirty, asked for 2 side plates and they both looked like they had just been are off of. My 5 year old son had to go to bathroom.... I started this review looking for a reason to give it 4 stars simply because I don't often award chain restaurants such high ratings. But really I can find literally no logical reason to do so. I seriously love Mod and I love this business concept. I don't know if Mod was the chicken or the egg but made to order pizza has become a huge thing quick it would seem. Some call it the Chipotle or Subway of pizza but I call it its own thing. In terms of variety and options: all other made to order restaurants have nothing on Mod. I can't start without mentioning that the prices are astoundingly low for what you get. You get a personal thin crust pizza with unlimited toppings of your choice for one flat price: $8.52 including tax if you decide to leave no tip. You can upgrade to gluten free crust for a few dollars but that's the only upcharge you'll see. There's the usual red sauce plus add-ons for the sauce such as pesto and some others I've honestly never used. I think I saw a barbecue sauce in there. For toppings, a non-exhaustive list includes: whole garlic cloves, tomato, sundried tomato, red and yellow peppers, green peppers, olives, roasted cauliflower, hamburger, ham, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, grilled chicken, sausage, and on and on. I'm not doing it any justice with my list. At the end of the bacon you can even add one of at least 6 toppings onto the pizza to get even more bang (or zing) for your buck. There are also several bottled sodas (Boylan) to choose from along with a litany of fountain drinks and even a few beers. You can even round out your meal with a milkshake too. And if you want to forego the carbs entirely there are all of your basic salad greens on the bar with which you can make a stellar salad composed of any or all of the above. Finally, you can visit and eat here knowing that you're supporting a good cause too. That's because they hire and employee many ex-convicts and people who have served time in prison and would otherwise find difficulty in getting employed again as a result. Very cool! read more

Located in the part of the shopping plaza near Gander Mountain, MOD Pizza is a neat concept. It's "Chipotle" meets pizza, but they don't charge extra for the "guacamole." Yes, they have a handful of set pizzas on the menu board but as they move your pie along the assembly line, you can add as many toppings as you like. No extra charges! I looked over the menu board and settled on the "Season's Mod" which had roasted Brussels Sprouts, red onions, gorgonzola and a balsamic glaze. And while that probably would have been enough, I also took the recommendation of one of the Mod Squad and added chicken. Good idea! A few minutes later, my name was shouted and I stepped up to pick up my pie. Sliced into four neat quarters, the thin crust pizza base was nice and crunchy. Plenty of toppings and it tasted absolutely amazing. Full of great flavors. Very enjoyable. Neat vibe in this fast casual restaurant.
