I like the fact that their location is at the less crowded part of the mall and right beside the parking! I can just park (4th floor), get my pizza, then leave without the trouble of dealing with crowds! I usually get the White Top which has their cream sauce, mozzarella, bacon, chopped garlic, oregano and topped with arugula post-fire. However, I still add grilled chicken, mushrooms, Gorgonzola cheese, and lots of roasted garlic!! I also always ask for balsamic on the side to drizzle on my pizza (others have mentioned the white top being on the salty side so the balsamic is perfect for adding acidity). Blaze neverrrrr disappoints. The pizza dough that is offered here is definitely on point with its textures and flavors. The "build your own" is often my go to choice because you legit get to put ANYTHINGGGGGG you want on it and as much as you want as well. the prices are very reasonable and well worth it for the quality of the pizza or any other items on the menu. When I'm not in for making my own, I go for the Green Stripe just as pesto sauce is my absolute favorite. In terms of wait time, it does not take long for your pizza to finish and come out fresh and hot. The location is somewhat hidden as it is in the Bloomingdales segment of the mall, but either way the interior is nice, modern, and there are other neighboring places to go and try out for a dessert or a smoothie. They usually burn my pizza, then I have to argue with their disrespectful staff about getting it re-done without charcoal on the bottom. The head-banger music is so loud I can feel it pounding in my chest. SOMETIMES they'll turn it down if you ask, usually accompanied by a massive, disdainful eye-roll. They don't answer their phone, ever, and they list the wrong hours on their answering machine. The staff is rude and sarcastic. They have one bathroom which is usually totally gross, and often occupied for long stretches by non-customers. If you MUST eat here, use the bathroom down the hall, just outside Bloomie's, first. I usually have to use my own soap b/c soap dispenser is empty. I only ever came here when we needed something at the mall and my kids twisted my arm to eat at Blaze, b/c of all of the above issues. However, the last time we got dragged over to Blaze by our kids, it was closing time (though the restaurant's voicemail said they closed later, the staff proudly said that it had been wrong for 6 months!). But the kids still wanted pizza, so we stopped at a little place 5 minutes down the road called VIKING PIZZA AND KABOB, and it is the BEST!!! My favorite pizza joint. I introduce my friends and family to this place whenever I can. It's sucks that there's no Blaze in Hawai'i but it's a treat whenever I fly to the mainland. I get a pizza with mozzarella cheese, spinach, black olives, jalapeños, and garlic. Sometimes I get a s'mores on the side--I really recommend it! Matt B. and I decided to have a relaxing suburban date night this Saturday, with a casual dinner followed by a movie in Glendale. We'd been to the Blaze in Pasadena and decided to eat at the one in the Glendale Galleria. Turned out that unlike the Pasadena location, this Blaze doesn't serve alcohol. We drank Diet Coke and lemonade. Our suburban date night got downgraded to a high school date night. As it turns out, it was a great high school date night, and Blaze kills it in its category, which is "Glendale Galleria restaurant on a separate floor from the food court, next to the standalone Panda Express (as in, not the Panda Express in the food court)." It had pretty much no atmosphere (we thought it'd have a bit more, as the Pasadena one kind of does), but it was fast and casual with friendly service and cheap, tasty pizza. Blaze is a build-your-own pizza place with several topping options. Your pie gets assembled right in front of you, and the fast-firing process really is fast. A personal pizza goes for like $7 or $8, and I can stretch one of those into two meals. Not bad. You can also split toppings so you get two kinds of pizza in one. There's a short menu of signature pizzas if you aren't that great at figuring out what toppings taste good/disgusting together. I got a half BBQ CHKN and half Link In pie, and both sides were really satisfying. The BBQ CHKN pizza came topped with grilled chicken, mozzarella, red onion, banana peppers, gorgonzola, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. The Link In brought Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, sautéed onions, mozzarella, and red sauce. I'm not sure which I liked better. The sausage was more flavorful than the chicken, but I loved the sweet and tang and spice of the banana peppers, gorgonzola, and BBQ. I'd recommend getting the exact pizza I did, to be honest. Matt got the Simple Pie, which was your basic mozzarella, parmesan, and red sauce pizza, and he liked that. Blaze does a surprisingly good crust, too, charred and cracker-thin but with a decent amount of chew and flavor for this sort of quick-service personal pizza. I don't know that I'd specifically recommend Blaze for a date night if you are not in fact in high school, but it's a great spot for an easy meal if you have other business in Glendale. It's probably better than most food court options and honestly doesn't take much more time or money to visit. If you want a quick pizza in the area, give this place a try. read more

They put paper towels in a bin and thought that was okay. Made me feel gross. It's a busy location since it's in the mall so maybe other locations are better. Lots of tables but they get filled pretty past. Floor and floor mat was wet near the drinks. Overall cheaper than other places to make your own pizza but you get what you pay for. I went earlier today when I was getting my hair done at the salon.I cant believe this place exist.A pizza assembly line with the freshest ingrediants and sauce ever. Clean,courtious and well staffed. My only complaint is that they didn't mention that the non gluten crust was $3 more.That with a drink cost me $13 and change! Of all the do it yourself pizza places this was the most disappointing. Being that it was in the mall, I thought that it would be okay to dine in. The staff was not friendly or welcoming at all. The floors were dirty with the entire days waste. There was food on the floors on the other side of the counter. The young man preparing our pizza was doing the meat and the vegetables which I've never seen. Normally, one person only does the meat and someone else does the veggies. The pizza once cooked was average but, nothing that would make me come back. The tables were unclean and when I asked someone to please wipe them off, it was done so lazily and dirty that I didn't even enjoy the rest of my experience. This is for sure my first and my last time eating here. I don't know exactly who was the manager in charge as I did not want to argue or complain to anyone because if they didn't care about the service they definitely were not going to care about my complain. So I came here yesterday and I order four build your owns. first off they were rushing me and the workers seemed annoyed on how many pizza's I ordered because I had to keep going back to make sure the four pizza's were to everyones " LIKING" and had to keep adding on to the pizzas because they would rush me to the next pizza. Second off I ordered two s'mores and never received them. The guy boxing the pizza never asked if I wanted olive oil ect so I had to tell him and he had me wait and take off the top of the lid for him. (he always seemed annoyed of my request) & I never got my two s'mores because I was told they were in the bag (my fault for not looking) so I get back to work give everyone their orders the pizza was very oily not like usual BLAZE PIZZA'S that I've eaten before and thats when I noticed the s'more weren't in the bag so I went back to BLAZE and told them I never received my s'more (once again annoyed) and I waited ten mins then I finally asked if my s'mores were done being heated up, they had BEEN done and were just sitting on the counter they never called my name. So I came here for lunch with my sister after we were done with our classes at GCC, so it was very convenient to stop by. The workers were super friendly, and the pizza tasted really awesome. The entire pizza is usually only enough to feed one person, since the crust is so thin (just how I like it). So don't plan on sharing it with anyone. Once we were finished with our meal, the owner, I think his name was Bart, came up to us and we had a really friendly chat. Another great Blaze location! Super nice staff, clean restaurant, great prices and excellent food! I always get a create your own pizza and salad and for $8 each, it is easily enough for two meals. You can't beat the value considering how many veggies they pack in my salad/ pizza, saves time and money vs preparing at home. Love their pesto and balsamic vinaigrette as well. Didn't put enough toppings and seemed like they were scared to put them (I had exactly 5-6 pepperonis on my pizza ). I asked for Togo and they were serving it to me in a plate and I told them 3 times. So I told gentleman To go plz and his response was oh you want boxes? I was like really !? -.- I also had to carry two drinks so I asked for a cup holder and bags and they had none .. They have me to small bags that did no good. I love this. This was the first time I personally experienced a build your own pizza counter like this. So far every time I have been here (5x), somehow everyone was nice behind the counter. This is astounding because customer service jobs are difficult. And yet everyone has been nice. The managers are well invested in the new clients. The ingredients are wonderful. Be warned, if you go ingredient heavy (especially on veggie items) you CAN end up with soggy crust in the middle. The crust is thin to begin with. I am not remotely bothered by it getting soggy (I pile my ingredients high and pick more water-giving items like the fresh tomatoes, spinach, artichoke hearts). My perfect build your own: red sauce, 2x mozarella, feta, goat cheese, Parmesan, ovalini mozarella, spinach, tomatoes, black olives, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and pesto drizzle finish. It is delicious and so thick with ingredients that it is soggy but totally bearable. You need to go to here. read more
