(Don't forget to ask for the pesto drizzle!) There is plenty of seating to enjoy your pizza. It had been a long day and my 4 year old was pretty hungry after a long shopping spree at Dick's. Everything that is in the upstairs area to eat didn't sound very good to her, so she opted for some pizza. There really wasn't anything too fantastic about this place. It's like every other build your own pizza place that we have ever been to, but she really enjoyed the plain cheese pizza, as did I, that was ordered. I also got a small side salad that was more than enough, I forgot the name, but it had arugula, chunks of fresh mozzarella (or maybe it was goat cheese, not sure), roasted red bell pepper, and tomatoes, tossed up in a pesto vinaigrette dressing. Everything was pretty standard, employees were nice, and I was very happy with the soda selections, as they had some great black cherry, mango orange, and rootbeer selections that you normally wouldn't see. Things were priced fairly, it wasn't overly expensive. I went today for free pizza of grand opening at Glendale Galleria. The staff are nice and helpful. Much better experience this time. Didn't think I'd come back but decided to give this place another try with special thanks to Blaze Management for comping our pizzas. Service was absolutely ON POINT. Actually they exceeded the experience of service. Everyone was extremely nice and even while I stood there waiting on my order, the gentleman greeted me and had small talk with me which made me feel welcomed and warm inside the atmosphere. After my family and I finished our meal.. Of course we were sitting there chatting a bit and relaxing. The same gentleman came over and offered to take our trash. That was something I didn't expect at all given its one of those self clean up type of places where you throw your trash away and put the pizza tray in a pile by the bin. So to have someone offer to pick up our trash and clean up after was very surprising but it just shows how much they care about their business and the service they give their customers leaving a longer lasting impression to return. No need to compliment the food because what more can I say about it? Aside that you customize your pizza with whatever toppings you want and its soooo flavorful. One of the best pizza places for sure. If you're craving some pizza, this has the best pizza sizes for a single person to eat. Definitely hard to share a pizza you created, plus if you don't finish it, it tastes better like an hour later when you're feeling hungry again. I have been coming here several times a week because my co worker is just crazy about the white top. I like that the pizza cooks up super fast and there is just one price no matter how many toppings you get. I always order the artist with some modifications. My toppings are goat cheese, ricotta cheese, spinach, red peppers, chopped garlic, tomatoes, red sauce dollops, and pesto drizzle at the end. Sometimes I will add chicken and olives. The taste and quality are always consistently good here and everything is fresh and customizable so I don't worry too much about going off my diet. I'm officially a blaze fan!! It is a thin crust and you pile on the toppings you want. My pizza took about 5 min. and was slightly burned on the bottom. The crust was too thin to hold the toppings as I could not even pick up a slice without something falling off or it dripping sauce. While most of the toppings are good quality, the charred garlic was in full cloves versus being minced and was not pleasant to bite into. Also, for a busy day, there was not even seating to accommodate guests and people were left wandering around with pizza in hand looking for seating. I ended up coming back to this establishment at least four to five more times after my initial two star review. I can definitely see the improvement at this restaurant and that has made me a happy customer. There are now less employees working the pizza line and they aren't stingy on the toppings anymore. This has become one of my favorite pizza places (sorry to hurt your feelings, Pizza Hut). I think it's great that you can add as many toppings as you like for $7 and something cents. I dress my pizza with relatively healthy toppings so I don't feel guilty after having three slices. I think I'm also starting to become a fan of thin sliced pizza (alert the media). I guess because it was the first time heading to blaze since it's new opened location at the Glendale Galleria the lines were extremely long. I literally spent 39 minutes just in line. But I have to admit the pizza is so worth it! My hubby loved building his own and I loved mine as well. The also have a nice ample walkway to the ordering area. It fit my stroller perfectly and with additional space. I do recommend trying any of there pizza's. I must say that I was HIGHLY disappointed with there salads. I was expecting to build my own salad as well. The salads look poor and not appetizing at all. especially because they are prepackaged. This is why I couldn't give them all 5 stars. I've eaten twice at Blaze now. They offer personalized pizzas or a menu of pizza ideas that can be personalized. Blaze is essentially a pizza version of Chipotle. The staff is friendly, fast, and helpful. The first time I ordered an art lover's pizza (artichokes, mozzarella, ricotta, chopped garlic, and red sauce "dollops"). The pizza was ok. The mozzarella, or the lack thereof, disappointed me. Do not order this pizza if you like lots of cheese in your pizza! The second time I ordered a white top pizza (white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano, and arugula) with olives. This pizza was yummy! I love the food and the concept, especially the Green Stripe. However, the dining room is a literal dump. Tables are never clean. Trash is strewn about the floors. Trash cans are often overflowing--every time I visit. It doesn't matter how busy you get you should always have someone bussing tables and making sure your customers have a clean, clutter-free, comfortable environment to enjoy your food in. I've only been here during the weekdays, so the longest I had to wait in line was probably 2-3 minutes. I like the fact that their location is at the less crowded part of the mall and right beside the parking! I can just park (4th floor), get my pizza, then leave without the trouble of dealing with crowds! I usually get the White Top which has their cream sauce, mozzarella, bacon, chopped garlic, oregano and topped with arugula post-fire. However, I still add grilled chicken, mushrooms, Gorgonzola cheese, and lots of roasted garlic!! I also always ask for balsamic on the side to drizzle on my pizza (others have mentioned the white top being on the salty side so the balsamic is perfect for adding acidity).
