Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! horrible service at glendale galleria location. employees do not look at you when you order they talk to each other. you have to repeat you requests many times and correct them when they are creating your pizza. i ordered green stripe pizza-instead of garlic she put onion-i had to correct her, they did not have red peppers(which is the ingredient of it), after the oven they had to put pesto and arugula on it. i had to remind the guy who was upset when i did it. employees need to be trained well and have good customer service they are representing the company. very disappointed! read more

I usually love Blaze Pizza, but this location consistently disappoints. The pizza was rushed and undercooked, making it inedible as served. To make matters worse, I watched the staff break apart toppings for no apparent reason, which felt careless and unsanitary. When I brought these issues to the cashier and staff's attention, all I got was a nod and a casual "my bad." No effort was made to fix the situation. This reminds me of pizzaRev where you get to build your own pizza from A to Z. However, their pizza here seems to be a little thicker and more filling than pizza Rev,and the fact that they also have Gluten free though is great! This location is almost always busy but the staffs were very good at keeping the line move quickly. I personally enjoyed their white pizza with chicken, bacon and spinach most. The only down side of this shop is its location is very off (not at the food court) and was kinda hard to find if you're not familiar with this mall. read more

When I first met Blaze (now we've been to the Glendale and the Pasadena units), all my previous concepts were updated and we've finally found our pizza joint. Nice and fast line service, very friendly table service and top notch ingredients. The dough is thin and crunchy (which you can adjust if you remember to ask to more or less cooking time) and the pizza can be delicious. It's all up to you! Good customer service. I know that people keep on saying that the bread is very thin and toppings are toppling over but, I have a great tip for you! First, take your slice of pizza gently, and then after you have it how you want it, fold your pizza in half, if your pizza wont fold, soften the part of the crust with your index finger and now fold it and it should absolutely look delicious! read more

Workers taking the order and prepping the pizza aren't the most friendly but you don't have to endure that beyond the order and you can watch so they don't mess with your food. Boss Juan also has an assistant manager named Jeremy that's also very hospitable and leads by example. He also insures everyone is taken care of and keeps up on the food. They keep up with bussing and cleaning. This location feels very welcoming as well. I highly recommend this location because of leadership and they bring Top Notch service.

I've been to Shakey's as a kid and only remember it as a nostalgic place, where I ate lots of Mojo…read morepotatoes. After a morning playing Pokemon GO in the heat, my kiddo and I stopped by to escape the scorch of summer and play keep away from the XBox & PS5 at home. This particular Shakey's is up the street from Forest Lawn (which is full of Pokemon GO finds btw) and it was on the way back to our home so the time was right - it was lunchtime. To be quite frank, this 5 star review is more about the overall experience. The food overall is ok, nothing that would grant it Michelin stars and def not in my top 5 pizza places. However, the quick and friendly service went above and beyond to deserve the 5 star rating. I was also surprised at the cleanliness all around. Juan Medina was always cleaning and helping guests, including us. Juan, the manager & Jeremy were very helpful, especially in the Arcade and Ordering sections. Foodwise, the pizza is okay imo. I'd give it a 3 on the scale of pizzas, but I'm kinda a thick crust snob. However, my kiddo loves how it's crispy on the bottom and soft on top. It's a THIN Crust for those who like that cracker-like crunch yet soft cheesiness on top. He says it beats out Chuck E. Cheese and bday party pizzas. My child gives it a 5 out of 5. I, myself, ordered the 2 Chicken Lunch Special and it was under $10. The chicken's crispy, but more on the greasy side. The Tapatio hot sauce does make a huge difference (at least for me). And I poured it on. It was a full meal and the price was good for today's times. I'm still a fan of the MOJO POTATOES. They're really crisp and exactly what I remember them to be like when I was a still child a bajillion years ago. Speaking of a long time ago, Shakey's was founded in 1954 and it was the first pizza restaurant chain in the US. How do you like them facts, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and Little Caesars?! Also, the franchise got its name from one of the co-owner's, Sherwood "Shakey" Johnson and Ed Plummer. Parents have an option to sip on a cold draught/draft brew if they like. And the Arcade room here is small, but mighty. The machines are new and you can easily spend an Alexander Hamilton on a few rounds of games before your meal arrives. Overall, it was a memorable lunch. Perhaps not because of what we ate, but the quality time spent here with my kid, and for being treated like a valued patron and being served like a guest they'd want to have return again. And I'm sure we will.
