Also, the artichoke and pesto hummus, there was very little of it in the Shawarma. What little was good, but I could hardly taste it. That tzatziki itself was tangy and good. Not counting the DoorDash fees, I thought that the prices were a bit high. The food was OK. I'm glad I tried it.

The reason I am writing this review, is because I had so many people tell me how good the pizza was. I was not that impressed, but that is not the reason for this review. The review is because of the horrible service that was received. And it was very hard to enjoy your meal because of the music as well. Now back to the service... Everyone seems very dry, unfriendly, no people skills or giving me a reason to come back for. It's always a little hard to get a fully enjoyable experience there with their attitudes. But the pizza is okay, there are other companies similar and better. Would love to see the owners make some radical changes to their management and customer service policies. I took my kids to this pizza place before their guitar lesson and we were extremely disappointed with the service we received. We waited over 30 minutes for our pizzas, only to find that mine was completely burnt. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they simply brushed it off as being "a little crispy" and offered to make another pizza, but we would have to wait an additional 10 minutes. We were already running late and couldn't afford to wait any longer, so we left hungry and unsatisfied. The quality of the food did not match the prices, and we will not be returning. Sauce tastes like tomato soup. And the crust was super soft, bot crispy how i usually like it. The team seemed pretty upbeat but too casual for my liking hats on backwards and one of the employees walked by and just reeked of weed. Like have some proffesionalism when working. Waited quite a while to be helped and when i did because they were busy they rushed me. When i sat down to eat the dining room was filthy, i get it, when its busy ita hard to keep up, but its hard eating aroud dirty tables and food under my feet. One Word, Horrible. I opted for a signature pizza and a custom. For the signature pizza I got the red vine and on my custom I ordered white sauce with chicken bacon tomatoes and onions. Also pesto on the side. The white sauce had no flavor at all I could barely taste it, the chicken was tasteless as well. The red vine not too bad but not good either. The service? Don't order online, they clearly don't read the special instructions. Asked for veggies on only half the pizza because I was splitting it with my daughter who just likes meat and cheese and the pizza came out with veggies throughout. And until you can get your own drink, don't trust them to get it for you because they can't even grasp the concept of an Arnold Palmer or filling the drinks all the way.. hope this was just a off day for them and not a lazy culture for that location read more

Went in the other day and had a pepperoni. I love how you can watch them apply the toppings and ask for exactly what you want. I really appreciated that the staff suggested extra pepperoni at no cost because she thought I would enjoy it more. She said that they shrink a little, and they did. Then there is the kitchen that they use to test flavor combinations, do training and to have events for employees and franchisees. This is the location that new franchisees get their training before they open their new stores. They are here training and learning for 3 weeks. Pizza Guys has been in business for 30 years now and it all started here in Sacramento. I learned quite a bit from talking to the founder, his son and the employees during our event and also tried some of the fabulous food and even made my very own pizza in the kitchen. I really like there's a kiosk where we can just enter your pin once your pizza is there! When I walk in I'm always greeted which is a nice thing to get at a small location. Pizzas were delicious and this will be our go to when we need something easy and not too expensive. I don't have a picture of them but we also ordered the cheese cups which probably would pass next time or try the pepperoni. I also got the barbecue barbecuing wings and the barbecue sauce on those were incredible they were piping hot crunchy, now I know where to get my wings! I would say this is a top location in the area!

Our first experience here wasn't great because our pizza was burnt, but we decided to give it a second try. After driving home from a trip up in Northern California, we thought, "Hey, why not order some pizza from Papa John's?" We were about 10 minutes away from home when we ordered a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza--my all-time favorite toppings--along with some cheese sticks. Unfortunately, the second experience wasn't much better. The pizza was dry, overcooked, and lacked the signature Papa John's quality and flavor that customers expect. It just didn't have that fresh, satisfying taste that usually makes it stand out. That said, each time we've had delivery, our driver has been friendly, professional, and has brought our food right to our door. If Corporate doesnt step in and do something about this Pizza place, I can't say I'm going to order from them a 3rd time. The lady who was working was very nice, too bad the food didn't hold up. I can't see myself returning here.
