I work in the same plaza but just recently tried their pizza out cause I've never been a fan of pizza tbh. Someone at my work bought one and omg it's soo good. This place is basically a pizza version of Subway. You order a premade pizza off their small menu and you have the option of adding extras like meat or veggies. There is also an option to build your own pizza which Subway doesn't have of course. I usually come in after 5pm and it either starts getting pretty crowded or is already packed. Its hard to get a seat inside if you get here late, but there is seating outside as well. Pizza is okay. Some days you'll get tons of ingredients and some days you'll get like 3 pieces of mushrooms on your pizza. Service depends on who is working that day. You'll have employees that will make small talk and answer any questions you have to the ones that flat out don't ask what you want and build the pizza their way pretty much. Had a couple times where the person who made my pizza didn't even ask me what I wanted and just stared at me. There is always such a long wait here! Tonight it has taken over 45 minutes to just get our pizzas made and now we are waiting for it to be cooked. I've been to other locations when it's just as busy and it never takes as long as this. The pizza is fine but not worth the wait! Let me preface this by saying I LOVE Blaze Pizza, and the food here is just as good as it is in any Blaze location. However, I've noticed that the service here ranges from decent to absolutely horrible, and today it was unbearable. I try my best to be extremely polite to every worker and thanked each and everyone of them for their service, but they instead responded to me with dirty looks and eye rolls. The main cashier seemed to be especially unhappy today. She seemed visibly irritated with my presence as a customer, even though I can honestly say I was nothing but polite to her. Lines can be long at dinner times (sometimes all the way out the door)! But once you get to the front, the options are endless and amazing! I always opt for a build your own pizza because I love to have a variety of ingredients on my pie. Don't be afraid to pile on the meats and veggies!!! My pie is always a mound of food by the time I get through the whole assembly line, lol. I love that the workers are so nice and willing to put almost and every ingredients you request, irregardless of the amount of food you are asking for. Don't worry, your pile of food will shrink in the oven and it will come out very tasty! Some of the things I like to do is request pesto on my crust and the spicy red sauce as my main sauce since it is so good! I also love pineapples on my pizza, it gives it a unique sweetness to balance the savory umami flavor of all the meats that I get. I also love the roasted garlic! Big whole pieces of garlic are so delicious! For toppings, I like to request fresh arugula. Came here late at night to get some late night grub and just had the worst experience ever. The workers all seem either drunk or high. I literally stood their in line with my gf and they looked at my but continued to converse amongst themselves and some customers who seemed to be one of the workers off their shift. I stood their being ignored and felt like an idiot having to try to get their attention. Does it really take 4 people to work on one order? These workers clearly seem almost high. Finally they called my name and had a pizza. Im like what? I order dough knots and not a pizza. They looked at me like im crazy when clearly they are not fit to handle customer service a store. I hope the manager reads this cause clearly you as a store owner needs to be more responsible with your employees or else your going to lose your business. Having incompetent workers who are unprofessional and act as if they never had a real job only reflects the same incompetent business attitude of the owner. I really recommend reevaluating ones employees to better your business other wise this blaze is going to go broke. I came here CRAVING for Blaze pizza and I got nothing but disappointment. I've eaten at other Blaze pizza spots and this by far is the shittiest. I came in 25 minutes to closing and I ordered a build your own pizza. The employee asks me what sauce I want on my pizza, I replied with wanting the regular red sauce and he tells me that they have none left. He says that the spicy red sauce is similar but with a kick. I agreed to try the spicy red sauce out. The pizza continues down the line and then he asks what meats. I say I want grilled chicken and meatballs. He then replies saying they have no grilled chicken! I came here for grilled chicken on my pizza! Remind you that I already settled for SPICY red sauce, and now I have no grilled chicken either. The employee says that there was a rush before I came and wiped them out. I understand that this can happen but this is just ridiculous. Then another employee, which is not part of the conversation, shouts out, "He ain't wrong, he ain't wrong." WTF... Really. At this point I am absolutely hungry and I just want my pizza. My pizza continues down the line and he asks what veggies I want on my pizza. I reply with wanting black olives and mushrooms. He then says they have NO MUSHROOMS! I seriously can't believe what I'm hearing. I literally tell the guy that if you have no mushrooms then I don't even want the pizza anymore. He says that he might have some in the back, and guess what, they do! I bet they have regular red sauce and grilled chicken back there also! He gets me mushrooms from the back and outs it on my pizza and then throws it in the fire. So now I'm basically paying for a pizza that isn't what I wanted. I've been continuously disappointed in customer service lately. I believe it's mainly due to not having enough people working peak hours, and it's really affecting your employees work ethic and customers wait times. It's one thing to wait 30+ minutes for my pizza, but another to have the chef at the end ruin my pizza by dousing it with balsamic glaze so it's not even appetizing because he was rushed and seemed annoyed that I asked. I heard that now they offer another "SUPER PROMOTION" on PEPPERONI toppings! You can get a total of 6 thin-crusted pepperoni pizzas for just 10$+tax!!! How wonderful was that! I love the concept of the personal pizza and I think blaze def offers a bang for your buck. Food- build your own pizza is the way the go. Maximize your output by stacking a lot of meat and toppings. I always cringe when I see people order the "build your own" and get two toppings. That's like going to the strip club and not getting a lap dance, what's the point ? This is my third time at this Blaze location in the last week. The previous two times I noticed that the service was no longer as friendly as it was before. Today, I ordered my pizza online to avoid the long line. I was told that my pizza would be ready in 12 minutes, but it actually took approximately 32 minutes for my pizza to be ready. Once I received my pizza, I realized that it was missing some of the ingredients that I had requested. My friend ordered a gluten free pizza and her order also was not ready upon arrival. By the time that we received our food, we were too hungry and had spent too much time waiting that I did not even want to go back for the missing ingredients (which included cheeses and pepperoni)! The dough is a little too thin so after it was baked, it easily got burned around the edge. One mistake i realized is that they put fresh toppings on the pizza before baking, i think it is so not right, because some ingredients such as herbs and fruits could be wilted and burned easily at high heat, they should have sprinkle those later after the pizza is baked to help it retain its freshness. Got the pizza for almost $8 and for the same price i could get a bigger one at pierology and generous toppings.
