We are addicted to Blaze Pizza in Marina, CA! I can't believe I haven't gotten a review for it up yet... bad me. We stop by Blaze... kinda a lot during some seasons. I feel like there have been weeks we've been more than twice. Nom nom. It's amazing because you can choose any style you're in the mood for. It's also great for picky eaters, as they can add or skip whatever toppings they prefer. Just typing about it now makes me wanna order a pizza... In the last years, Blaze Pizza developed an app that offers pickup or delivery. We like to use their app to order delivery to the school my son goes to sometimes. Though their online ordering isn't always available (so he knows to get school lunch if he's not called to the office to pick up his lunch) when they do have the extra staff to take online orders and service for delivery, we've never had a problem with timing or quality. I appreciate Blaze and their continuing to try and meet community needs despite the pandemic and labor shortage. Keep up the great work! Definitely see ya there! read more

Will not be back. We used to go once to twice a month, but it is not worth my hard earned money anymore. Ordered 3 pizzas, one was a 2 topping pizza. Each slice barely had any cheese or mushrooms on it. When I sent in a complaint via email they did not try and fix it. They basically said- too bad and end of story. I would have put in a complaint at the restaurant but we ordered pick up and only realized when we already got home 10miles away that the pizza was basically just dough and sauce. I didn't want to drive 15 minutes back and forth for a new pizza so we had to put our own toppings on the pizza to make it edible. Not worth the $15, plus $2 tax and $2 tip I paid for it. Save your money and get oven Pizza from Target, because they atleast have toppings on them and it's about the same quality. read more

So good to see this place located on the peninsula. One of my favorites I eat here every time I visit the area. .I love the fact they have a number of choices of dough. And that's just the beginning. Walked out again today. Went in @12:15 to order. No one else in line. Staff completely ignored us. They were cleaning things which is great but they looked up and say nothing and go back to cleaning and prepping dough. More people walk in and same. Walked out after 5 minutes. WTH. Had some blaze pizza delivered via DoorDash. Man pizza has gotten ridiculous expensive. I was planning on getting mountain mikes but the total was damn near $100 for 2 pizzas and a cheese bread. I ordered 2 large pizzas and a cheese bread through blaze and tipped the delivery driver $10 and it was only $60. The service was quick and the pizza was really good. First time trying this place. Pizza was good but skimpy on ingredients if you're not paying attention when they're making your pizza. This is meat lovers pizza supposed to be with pepperoni and sausage. I think they put 1 piece of sausage and pepperoni on each slice. Wife's pizza supposed to be the red vine one with mozzarella. Same thing with that one, they put 1 small slice if mozzarella each slice. I will try this place again but next time I will make sure I pay attention when they make it. First time having BLAZE PIZZA (oooo insert eye roll) there's a lot of hype and maybe it was an off night - who am I to judge- paying customer aside. We ordered 2 pizzas cheese bread and a salad. You know what was meant to come with said order ranch for the pizza because Yum and some kind of red sauce with the bread thing and dressing for the salad. Guess what didn't come - it's the dressing's - not a big deal I mean the salad would have been awesome with the "delicious green goddess dressing " or so it's been said. So aside from that which fine no ranch or dips fine. But we ordered a special hot and something pickle pizza. Not my thing my partner's though. Keep in mind this was on line order no way to misunderstand what was ordered. The pizza was not correct example I tell you I want a PB and J on white and I get a Pb on Rye. So his was all wrong I had a simple pepperoni which is hard to screw up. I mean it was meh. And the cheese bread I guess was meant to have olive oil and oregano or something- like it didn't which is fine- it was cheese on bread. Who doesn't like that?! So my partner went in got the food realized there were no sauces and his pizza was wrong went to go back in and I neglected to say the pick up left a lot to be desired in customer service aspect so part way in to advise of missed items and Noped out. Apparently it was a bit of a mad house. Understood it is Saturday night. But some things you can't excuse. I don't know that we will try it again in the future. I am all for our workers being here and doing the job that no one wants . I was a supervisor at Starbucks for 5 years and I understand the stress levels .However, there has to be some type of effort . I will break our visit down as usual. FOOD : The food is always great here , but this visit was different. The guy making our pizza rushed us on everything! I did not get all of my usual toppings because he would not give me a moment to say my next topping without interrupting. The pizza was embarrassing to say the least and I rather but a frozen pizza from walmart rather than dealing with the lack of attention to detail . THE SERVICE : The service was absolute garbage . The establishment was empty so being overwhelmed is out ruled . The were standing around meaning that mobile orders are also out ruled . Does this not make sense to you? I ordered a two topping pizza. He asked what I wanted and requested pepperoni on the whole thing, pineapple on one half (shhh it's good lol) and bacon on the other half. They said they can't do that because it was now a three topping pizza. But I'm like, umm no each half still has two toppings. I wasn't being a Karen because honestly, that was common sense but the guy called over the manager and explained, and the manager agreed that it was three toppings and I needed to purchase a Build Your Own. Blaze Pizza was the first pizza place I visited when I moved to the US. It was perfect. It's a type of pizza you won't get tired of eating. Their restaurant is always clean and well-illuminated. My students and I also recently visited Blaze Pizza in Marina for our summer vocational boot camp. It's a program where students learn about industries they can apply to. The manager was out sick, but CJ welcomed and accommodated us. I hope there will be more leaders like him. First time trying this business here at this location. I'm beginning to think fast-casual spots and build you-own-________ are becoming synonymous. This place allows you to customize your own pizza and watch as it gets fire-roasted. Ordered the Art Lover 11-inch: mozzarella, garlic, dollops of marinara, artichokes, and ricotta for about $12 This pizza was thin crust but filled me up for lunch and gave me dinner with leftovers. Service was incredibly slow due to being short-staffed during a lunch rush. The price point is similar to getting lunch from another spot close by, but you'd need a 20-inch to feed a whole family (and the thin crust still might not be filling enough). It's a better spot for singles looking for an easy, convenient, nongreasy pizza joint. read more

So, I'm going to leave a five star because of the customer service skills that I've received from Sabrina. However, if she wasn't there, I would have left this place a solid THREE. When I walked in, I was greeted by a not so happy employee who looked like she just wanted to go to bed and not be there. So that was the start. I ordered the BYO (build your own) for my man and I because we wanted pizza but didn't want Dominos or Pizza Hut. For $8.95 for each pizza, you can't beat the price. They had a variety of toppings you can choose from, which was definitely a surprise. Sabrina helped me customize my pizzas, and she was definitely the highlight of this entire pizza place. Not only was she friendly, she was very efficient. It looked like she was the only one working while there were three other people in the background. She managed to juggle 8 pizzas at once, while the others just kind of stood around. She was very courteous throughout my whole "BYO pizza experience" when I had questions and what not. She definitely made this visit so much more pleasant than I thought it would have been. 5 stars for Sabrina! The place would run much efficiently if the other two ladies working would actually work. If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered online and when I arrived the order was ready but made wrong. I ordered 2 pizzas, one of them pepperoni and one of them 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 cheese. They gave me 1 pepperoni pizza and the other was a half of a pepperoni pizza. They told me I ordered it wrong and argued with me. As you can see from the receipt I ordered correctly and they made it wrong. I waited 20 minutes for it to be remade. The guy cutting the pizzas purposely wouldn't cut mine, he kept tossing it to the side. I asked him if he could please cut my pizza and he told me no. He said it's not his problem as he doesn't make the pizzas he just cuts them. I said, so you are saying it's my problem that the pizza was made wrong? He responded by yelling at me in front of a restaurant full of people, that yes, it was my fault. I asked another person to cut it and she finally did and then threw it at me. I spent $24 on pizzas and was treated like garbage, it was embarrassing and unnecessary. I will not return! read more

I just want to praise the professionalism of the crew working today. I was picking up an online order that wasn't quite done so I was on my phone and didn't notice until too late that the employee had accidentally cut my vegan pizza with the cheese and meat pizza cutter. Innocent mistake and the employee immediately apologized and offered to remake it. Unfortunately I didn't have time to wait but the employee and manager quickly processed a refund as I didn't feel comfortable eating the pizza. (There was a lot of cheese on the cutter wheel and transfer is an easy thing to happen!) The employee also offered me the pizza to take to go anyway. I felt bad since I didn't end up paying but after being told it would be thrown out otherwise, I brought it to my coworker who said it was tasty. The staff are doing a great job for what they are dealing with; they are EXTREMELY short staffed. There was a line almost out the door. The poor guy helping customers at the front of the line was also trying to fulfill over half a dozen online orders in between as well. There is so so much cross contamination of ingredients. They will change gloves if you ask. After your toppings are ordered they set the pizza on a shelf to go into the oven- there is zero order they stick to. They just put the next pizza on a shelf and it gets put in- in no particular order. My mom And I ordered together and her pizza was done 10 minutes before mine. (Paid for all in one transaction) and same kind of crust so it should have been done around the same time. Start to finish it took over 40 minutes To get our pizza TO GO. read more

ALL 3 days I had to call in several times before someone even answered the phone tolet them know that I was at the curb waiting for the order. The last day I literally called 10 times!!. I finally got fed up went inside. There was literally only two customers that were already sitting down eating the pizza and no one was in the line waiting. I called the store while I was inside the store, No one answered the phone. The phone didn't even ring. And then when I looked at the Pizza, it was so dry with big bubbles of air in it no cheese at all or sauce.
