From the moment I walked in the establishment I was greeted warmly by the staff. This location was very clean and friendly (which are must in my book ) As I ordered my pizzas I did not know what to get because I'm picky lol. Henry was very attentive to my needs, I asked a lot of questions before I ordered and he gladly answered them. I apologized for asking so many questions , he assured me that it was no problem at all. Almost a decade ago, I worked at one of the first 50 Blaze Pizzas and worked in every section of the line including oven duty so I know what a Blaze Pizza standard looks and tastes like. It was a slow evening, about an hour and a half before closing and there were around four people working with one person right ahead of us. Once it was our turn to order, the guy originally working the oven came over to the dough station, went back, and then came right on back before even stopping to greet us. We finally got helped by him since nobody else wanted to help us out. The guy spread everything nicely but there was little to no conversation while he was making our three pizzas. Once we got to the register/oven area, I asked for my pizza well done. Judging the bottom of the pizza and the crust, it seemed like a light well done, but the pizza itself was very runny and still really doughy. I had to grab the slices with my whole hand to be able to eat it. It was good though. The quality here is below average and the customer service is very poor. I've been to a couple other locations after my departure from the company, but this place is definitely not a location I will be returning to. Please retrain your staff with basic communication skills and teach them how to cook a pizza well done. read more

Judging by the condition of our pizzas you would think the ingredients came directly from the employees paycheck. The sauce was maybe a total of the size of a dime for the whole pizza. Pizza should not be drowning in sauce but you should at least be able to see that it's on your pizza. I had a total of maybe 10 small squares on chicken on my pizza, the roasted broccoli was almost blackened broccoli as well as the edges of my pizza was charred. The pizza was lukewarm at best. My husband's pizza was subpar as well but as he was starving, he ate it. Our friend's pizza literally had 6 pieces of pepperoni and abrupt the same amount of olives. Definitely not worth the almost $43 for the three pizza's. We were disappointed as we have never had such bad pizza at any other Blaze location. usually pretty chill here unless you have to interact with the older lady. she has an attitude and corrects you on things for no reason. i asked for a simple pie with added meatballs and she tried to tell me its the wrong item despite it costing the same. This is my favorite pizza spot. Hands down. Please either know what you want by looking up the menu beforehand or have cash on hand to tip because for whatever UNGODLY reason, you can't tip with card. I found the sauce choices to be limited as compared to some of the other build your own pizza restaurants, so I ordered marinara sauce. I would have liked to have enjoyed olive oil or a butter type with garlic sauce. The are many of toppings to choose; meats, vegetables and cheese varieties, were plentiful. I picked a few different cheeses, requesting a bit extra, added pepperoni, sausage and bacon for my meats and olives, artichoke for my vegetables. After stacking it all up, into the oven it went. We chose a table and after about 15 to 20 minutes, the staff called out name and we picked up our pizza. Since it is made pretty much to your liking, it is hard to go wrong. I have eaten at this location a few times and the staff is always polite, and ready to help out their customers. The quality of the food is on par with other build your own pizza places I've had. I recommend adding a drizzle on top your pizza when ordering. They have several choices for drizzle but I almost always do the ranch with a side of one of the other sauces like balsamic, pesto and Buffalo sauce. This is one of the very few build your own pizza places in this particular area of the city of Orange. So if you're looking for this style of pizza I'd say look no further the Blaze pizza. read more

A few toppings is enough because the pizza starts to fall apart when you eat it if it's too heavy. The crust is really thin and a little on the chewy side. I guess your suppose to fold it over in order to eat it. There may be a thick crust option. Service was fast and friendly. There was nobody else here but me. Took about 10 mintes start to finish. Plenty of seating inside. Plenty of cold drink options. 2 pizzas were under $19.00 with unlimited toppings. Awesome deal. Stuck in the middle of being a fan and not being a fan. Honestly my girlfriend and I have been to several different Blaze Pizza locations and they've all been pretty good. Your mileage may vary, I suppose? This review is mainly for this location, but is also a slight comment on all the other locations that I've visited as a whole. I've only ever had Pieology previously and that was pretty mediocre at best. Blaze has always been consistent and the ingredients taste better. They offer better options and crust alternatives that keep up with dietary trends. I always build my own and I would say I'm not exactly difficult, but I'm not as easy as just meat and cheese. In any case, the staff on the assembly line hasn't done me wrong by any means. My pizza always comes out perfect and the portions can be turned into another meal. Normally my girlfriend and I are not one for beverages, (water cup squad wya) but their juices/lemonades are so good! It's hard not to walk out with a pie and a drank to wash it down with. I haven't run into any issues yet and I've even visited on PI DAY and they *still* get my order right! Nothing but respect for staying open late and dealing with endless droves of people all day on pi day... or any day really. read more

My girlfriend and I came in for lunch and placed our orders for our own pizzas. The young lady--Caucasian, 5'6", slim, wearing Doc Martins--adding the toppings was sick and excused herself to go cough, definitely not ideal but at least she didn't cough on our pizzas. She was very friendly and professional so she was not the cause of our disappointment. After I paid for the pizzas my girlfriend told me two things that happened while I was paying. The first thing was that the guy--Hispanic, 5' 10", chubby with a belly who was working the oven--placed a few pieces of spinach that had fallen off her pizza WITHOUT A GLOVE back onto the pizza. I repeat, WITHOUT A GLOVE. Then he put on gloves after the fact. The second thing was that a female--Caucasian, 5',6", average weight--was goofing around with the same guy and she sprayed him with a spray bottle they use for cleaning right next to our pizzas as they were "waiting" to be placed into the oven. She got his arm but the overspray landed on our pizzas. I went to the counter and the chubby guy who was working the oven came over to me so I told him that we would like our pizzas remade because of the chemical that was sprayed so close to our pizzas; I didn't mention the fact that he touched the spinach without gloves since it was him who did it. He said that he would remake our pizzas and told me that I could have a seat. My girlfriend was watching him and didn't see him at the pizza counter for very long, at least not long enough to remake both pizzas so I grew suspicious. I decided to go ask him to exclude Oregano on both pizzas to which he said, "Oh, I already made them. Do you want me to remake them?" Of course I did, so I sat down again and my girlfriend was watching him again and she said that he was not at the pizza ingredient counter long enough to remake both pizzas. When we finally got our pizzas, you can guess what I was looking for, oregano. It was on both pizzas. I immediately stood up and took both pizzas back to the counter and asked for a refund. I have included a photo for your review so that you can see there is still oregano after I specifically asked for it not to be included on the remake. Recap: Guy touches spinach WITHOUT A GLOVE. Girl sprays chemical right next to pizzas. Guy doesn't remake the pizzas. The audacity this guy had to try to fool us into thinking that he remade our pizzas after I specifically mentioned the cleaning chemical is absolutely unacceptable. It's a food safety issue for God's sake! I must also mention that he discussed this with yet another female employee who may, or may not be, a manager because she's the one who processed my refund. read more

Dear Blaze, I absolutely love your pizza! The White Top and dough knots are pure heaven.. It absolutely breaks my heart to say the staff and cleanliness of this location is just subpar.
