Two rude kids!! been here a hour!!!!! Took forever both keep going in back while people waited. Ordered pizza my kids came out 1/3 missing. They said nothing. I ask what's that. " it got stuck. I waited forever so said it's ok. I'll take it. When she went to close the box I noticed it was way lighter than the others. I said wait and seen it was raw. She said she would make another. Then aggressively threw the pizza in the trash. She walked over and made Across and walked in the back not to be seen again for 20 minutes. It's not like the guy picked up the sock. The only two people he kept walking in and out the back repeatedly. Then when he finally went to make my pizza in the meantime, I watched two ladies coming together. 1 have her pizza fully done when 1 hasn't even started ordering a couple standing behind us and originally walked out and left without ordering the couple. Those wait behind me on this walked out and left. I seen two different parties walk out and leave. I don't know who decide to have these two kids run this place on Friday night, but they need to come up with a better plan. So they BOY started making my pizza he said what kind of go. I just want my daughter's pizza again. He put barely any sauce on it and put mozzarella with the whole outside. No cheese I said can I get some more mozzarella on that he looked at me and said I already gave you extra are you kidding me? That's your response to me waiting an hour to remake pizzas to get others got cold. I already gave you extra cheese. You're worried about how much cheese you put on my pizza that you're remaking as we wait. I won't come back there again until you guys get your shit together. Plus my daughter's boyfriend simple pepperoni pizza look at this pizza. One of the slices has a single one piece like silly stuff.

We had been driving for a couple of hours and needed to eat. Didn't really feel like going anywhere fancy, so maybe just a sandwich. We had just stopped at Target, and as we were leaving, I saw Blaze. I had never heard of it so I figured, why not? Plus that had outdoor seating. Friendly greeting, told him it was my first time, and he said "well, choose what you'd like and we'll get it to you." So I ordered a pizza with pepperoni. I didn't realize how they worked until I read about them later. They had soft drinks, beer, and wine in these cute little plastic cups, so I grabbed two of them. The pizza was ready pretty quick, and I read about their "blazing hot" oven, so that's pretty cool. The pizza was good. A few more pepperonis would've been nice, but the sauce was good, and the crust was decent. The wine was decent and hit the spot. We needed something to take off the edge since we'd been traveling and getting on each other's nerves...and hangry. My only complaint was that the outside chairs and tables could use a dust off. Definitely worth checking out. And Cako Approves!

    Sad salad. :(

The pizza is fine and the service often includes a typical Gen Z stare. I don't know why there's vague "whatever" attitude every time I come in, but my biggest gripe is to do with the quality of the salads. They are sparse, full of oxidized lettuce, overpriced, and most recently, included a literal balsamic glaze, the same as what goes on the pizza, accompanying an inedible Greek salad. Said salad was stacked on top of hot pizza boxes, so add wilted to what characterized the experience. There is no clear phone number to call to inform about the experience, no contact form on the website, which is why I'm leaving a review here.

Quick and super fast service , the staff were nice and accommodating of our requests with the food . The place was clean and well ventilated and maintained pretty well . We ordered a Herbivore , half a cheese pizza and garlic bread . All of them tasted super delicious.

Service is okay, could definitely be better. I just like that I can stand their and make my own pizza. Great choice of sauces, cheeses, and toppings. If you like crispy, thin crust, then this is your type of pizza but the husband can't stand it, he likes more traditional, soft crust, thick pizza.

Customer service was amazing!!! Especially Luis!! Thanks for explaining it was my first time here

Luis M. had 10/10 customer service best pizza I've had here so far everything I asked for was done without complaint or attitude and he was very polite and gave a great experience to the customers he went above and beyond to make sure the indecisive customer got everything she wanted on her pizza

Our normal order is pasole and brown rice bowl. Pasole our past few times has been lukewarm and lacking flavor. This past visit we waited 45 minutes for our food and saw most of our plates getting cold at the window. We had to ask our for a status of our order when normally we have never waited more then 10-15 minutes. Food was again barely hot. The brown rice bowl was dry and is now missing ingredients and no longer is anywhere near the same dish as it was. They didn't even put the pesto (magic green sauce) in it. It's as if there is a new chef running things cheaper now. Today as we woke up planning to go to paso for wine tasting and our group had zero interest in going there for breakfast due to past experiences. It no longer is our go to breakfast spot which is sad. Also we have noticed on our past visit that front of the house staff and back of the house staff didn't seem to be communicating well. At one point we watched one employee working with the a cook and the cook just stared at the employee ignoring her. When there is communication breakdown in a restaurant this begins the gradual death of a business. Hopefully they can clean it up fast. We may give this place one last shot but if it's just ok quality we won't be back. The food is too pricey to just had bland lukewarm food.

How had I Not heard about this place before?…read more I'm a local, I've lived in Paso for almost 10 years and only recently discovered this hidden gem. If you're visiting Paso Robles and enjoy organic teas this is your place. They also serve a light lunch and of course worderful hot and cold teas. 6 Star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert…read more SIX STAR ALERT. SIX STAR ALERT. That right people, I said it.... And 6 times to be exact! Because let me tell you, the Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles not only deserves those 6 stars, but they truly EARNED each & every star (plus a bonus star) that I am awarding them for their exceptional hospitality. Now, let me tell you why! While in Paso for my wife's weekend birthday getaway, we had such fun time casually strolling the streets with no where to be. While window shopping, going in and out of the various shops, and just meandering through the downtown area.... We suddenly came across a little business called: The Spice of Life From the outside, it was pretty obvious what we were about to get into... ----Spices----Herbs----Teas---- Hey, they had me at Spices, but the rest is what kept me from leaving there anytime soon. Upon entering this quaint little shop, we were immediately immersed into a world that I Love. Spices, Spices and more Spices!!! Yeah, I'm that guy that at home, not in public of course, that will put a little spice on my hand and lick it off (to test it of course). I know, but I'm just a spice freak, what can I say! Yeah, give me a good lemon pepper, a blended steak seasoning or even a Kansas City Bbq Rub and I'll gladly give it the "Lance Lick of Approval". Yeah, I'm a Spice Man, & I'm not afraid to admit it. And let me tell you, this place has got spices!! Yeah, there are Jars and Jars, & more Jars of the finest, most incredible spices you can dream of. But on Top of the Spices... There are Oils, Vinegars, Teas, Tea Accessories, Herbal Supplements, Books, and More! And with all that shopping... Why not grab a quick bite alongside a freshly brewed coffee or tea at their mini cafe right on the premises. Heck, we did! (We had the Vanilla Chai Tea Latte) And it was Fire! So what makes this place earn a well deserved 6 star review?? It wasn't just their great product. Or even their beautifully prepared drink. It was their hospitality, their graciousness, and the human connection that we felt that went above the typical customer vs. retailer interaction. The lady who assisted us (forgive me but I forget her name) but she might have been maybe the owner or maybe even manager of the place was so kind, helpful and made our experience exceptional, so thank you for that! With so many great gift ideas and things that we needed for our own household, you know we did some damage and got a few things to take back home. So.... If you are a fan of spices like me, love yourself some tea, are looking for some unique, fun gift ideas or just want to enjoy a nice, quaint shop where the service hopefully exceeds your expectations like it did for me... Then take my highly recommended suggestion and get over to the... Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles ASAP!!!

We have eaten grilled and fried fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the dishes are filling and satisfying. The fish tacos have a nice helping of shredded cabbage and sauce. Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.
