Our normal order is pasole and brown rice bowl. Pasole our past few times has been lukewarm and lacking flavor. This past visit we waited 45 minutes for our food and saw most of our plates getting cold at the window. We had to ask our for a status of our order when normally we have never waited more then 10-15 minutes. Food was again barely hot. The brown rice bowl was dry and is now missing ingredients and no longer is anywhere near the same dish as it was. They didn't even put the pesto (magic green sauce) in it. It's as if there is a new chef running things cheaper now. Today as we woke up planning to go to paso for wine tasting and our group had zero interest in going there for breakfast due to past experiences. It no longer is our go to breakfast spot which is sad. Also we have noticed on our past visit that front of the house staff and back of the house staff didn't seem to be communicating well. At one point we watched one employee working with the a cook and the cook just stared at the employee ignoring her. When there is communication breakdown in a restaurant this begins the gradual death of a business. Hopefully they can clean it up fast. We may give this place one last shot but if it's just ok quality we won't be back. The food is too pricey to just had bland lukewarm food.

In search for a casual local eatery to have dinner, I yelped to see that Cowboy Pizza was open until 9pm Sunday-Thursday and 10pm on Friday-Saturday. So off we went. The eatery is counter service with the food brought out to the tables. The dining area is smallish. Little hole in the wall, no frills place. Comfortable. The cashier was welcoming and helpful. The menu has pizzas, calzones, pasta, hot sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and bottled Jarritos sodas. The pizza came out piping hot. Lactose intolerant me popped a pill and went to town. The crust was oven baked. Nice bake on the crust. Evenly cooked through. Gorgeous satisfying cheese pull. Seemed like an endless stretch. The pepperoni is not cup but yummy nevertheless. Overall tasty pizza.

We made our way to Paso Robles seeking lunch. Primal House looked good and had the endorsement of my Yelp friend Randy B. who seems to be the number one Yelp Guru in the area. He was right and this place was really good. Woo Hoo! I got one of their craft beers, "Old Blue" small-batch pilsner. It was great. Our waitress was awesome. Wife got the club sandwich and I went with a single patty cheese burger that was wonderful. There is hope for this trip after all. Yay!

I agree with Jake B completely! Amazing restaurant. For Amy C I don't feel as if her information is accurate. If only she would do research on restaurants before making such strong judgement. The reason blaze runs out of ingredients is because they are extremely popular and always busy. Blaze makes everything fresh and right there in the restraint so of course they aren't going to just walk into the back and grab something. It must be prepared first to get the fresh aspect that makes blaze so popular. For Evie(one of the workers at blaze Pizza), she is a tiny little gal who runs around blaze making ends neat and doing every job she possibly can. I'm very impressed with this employee because she is always so happy and hard working. I go into blaze almost every week and when she takes my order she remembers my name and that I order the same complicated pizza every time I go. She even noticed when I got a hair cut !! Haha I love going into blaze because I feel as if I'm being treated as a friend rather then a costumer. Blaze is very lucky to have Evie as a worker. This Amy C chick just couldn't find anything better to complain about. Also if they put the pizzas in the oven at the same time I think everybody's orders would get mixed up and I'd rather blaze not change the way they put their pizzas in the oven. It takes overall just a few minutes to cook. When waiting for other people's pizza that may be in your party it takes about five minutes to cool off which gives plenty of time for more pizzas to come out of the oven. Just so everybody knows the pizzas are being put in the oven at a perfect rate. As for the other employees the only other employee who made me feel welcome is Layla. She always has a big smile on her face and starts a conversation. She's also a very hard worker who is very precise on her pizza making skills. She is a very positive spirit! Both these gals are the ones to look for when you are eating at blaze. They will for sure make you feel welcomed. As for the food. Like I stated above, very fresh and amazing quality. every time I go they seem to have a new pizza ingredient or a new salad which is so much fun to have a new selection every now and then. Once my Pizza was accidentally dropped on the floor by one of the employees. They gave me a free pizza coupon and a free dessert for my kid. The employees at blaze are so kind hearted and take care of each of their customers. I got three apologies for my pizza being dropped on the ground when honestly it was probably my fault for getting toppings that stacked so high. Absolutely love their generosity. Over all I think blaze pizza is a great family restraint. They even go around asking how your pizza is and making sure everything is satisfactory. read more

LOVE Blaze pizza so we took family from out of town to the paso robles Store. WORSE MISTAKE I'VE EVER MADE!!!! I have enjoyed the Blaze pizza in San Luis Obispo. We walked in, FOOD &TRASH all over the floors. 3/4s of the veggies topping were.... empty. FOOD all over the counters!!!! contaminating other bends of empty food. I had to ask that they go somewhere to get topping for my pizza as NONE of them were available!!! NONE of them!!! I was so embarrassed. I asked TWICE NOT TO BURN OUR PIZZAS. Yup!!!! ALL OF OUR PIZZAS WERE B U R N T!!!!!BURNT. I'm saying BLACK ON THE BOTTOM. Come to find out someone in our party has ask for a third time not to burn the pizza's. I almost slipped on artichokes left on the floor. napkins and trash everywhere. We asked for them to refill some of the drink options. That never happened. Finally my husband talked to the manager that took the whole observation personal. Never offered to redo our pizza or how she could make our experience better. She said "I came on to a messy shift". If I came into a store like that, I'd have shut it down and called the owner. I've never seen such a filthy store where food is being served. A family member wanted more cheese and the kid behind the counter said something about the fact he got in trouble for making that kind of pizza. WE WERE ACTUALLY REFUSED by the pizza maker to add more cheese. The manager was not a day over 18. Too much responsibility for a child. Even the napkin dispenser ran out. I wish I could call the owner. It was that bad. My family will never try another Blaze Pizza again. I will drive to San Luis Obispo for Blaze and will never walk through this horrible excuse of a fast food nightmare. They should be ashamed of themselves! Filth and Food everywhere but in the food bends. 7 staff members with an average customer attendance. unacceptable performance. Understaffed. Our families experience is no fault of the manager- who was doing the very best she could. If the Blaze Pizza Corporation can give their pizza parlors some assistance- additional help in training, more support for its staff/establishments this location would be fully operational. We came on a Friday night and had our order pushed behind a lot of online orders. There was no sense of urgency from the staff that was present- I'm going to chalk this up to lack of support for management and within training. We ate 2 pizzas before we received our cheesy bread. While the line grew and online orders kept coming in. Hardly any communication to why or a wait time to the customers standing and waiting. The staff the manager had on, more specifically the individual who made our pizzas ended up disappearing and going to the restroom after being directed by his manager on how she needed him to do things. Leaving just one other employee and the manager navigating register and to go orders. The meal was delicious but the service experience left something to be desired. I feel really bad for this team. I hope they get some help soon. It's hard to find people who would put up with what this staff was handed tonight. read more

Holy! oh my! wowi, Had an amazing time here!! Can you believe you can build you own pizza I mean iv always wanted to get a pizza oven at home one of those small things, but the wife keeps tellin me that I wouldn't use it enough and that we should focus on more important stuff like paying off the mortgage but whatever. Fantastic staff I was helped by a strapping young lad named Bryce real fellas fello, a real pal. He made my pizza like a true italian would! a pro cheff at heart. I mean while he was making it my mind was being blown!! so many options to choose from I nearly forgot to take my son home with me I couldn't stop thinking about it... wow a real experience kind of makes me feel like Indiana Jones exploring the ancient Mayan ruins and finding pizza!! wowoowwowowow. would pizza again here definetly! I was excited to try Blaze Pizza as I had heard so much hype about this place. I was prompted to go because of there gluten free pizza options. My wife has been gf for over 15years and we have tasted many gf pizzas, from NYC to CA. The staff was well trained to not cross contaminate by changing gloves and utensils. The dough was pretty good and well cooked. It wasn't the best or the worst we have had. The reason for only 3 stars was there chintzy amount of toppings. I had a meat eaters pie that was skimpy, luckily I was able to catch the pizza maker before the pie was inserted into the oven because the amount of cheese was pathetic. easily one of the best pizza places i've ever visited- i seek out a Blaze Pizza everywhere I go! This store in particular has STAND-OUT service and top notch quality. An incredibly efficient team who seem to truly care about you and your experience at Blaze! Seriously amazing choices of toppings as well as deliciously creative beverages and sides of their own. Located on Sprint St, close to 24th Street, is Drive-through Little Caesars. Huge plus having a pizza drive through! I received awesome customer service at the window. I ordered the Detroit Style Cheese Pizza and a Crazy Combo (Crazy Bread and Crazy Sauce). The Detroit Style delivers maximum sponge and fluffiness, with an ultra caramelized/crunchy side and slight caramelized/crunchy bottom. The problem is, the top of the dough, was dough. That's the problem with fast food thick pizza, never cooked all the way through. After gagging, the super tangy, slightly sweet sauce and low grade mutz, completely masked it for a second, then it would be back. The Crazy Combo was good, but I swear that these fluffy, dough, garlic and butter, sticks, were not as fake tasting. $20 for this, guess you get what you pay for. *2/5 because the drive-through, customer service and Crazy Combo, raised it up, instead of 1/5*

When he repeated our orders to the people in the back it wasn't right but when I brought that up he just got angry. It's been a long, long time since someone has talked to me like that and really never for ordering! Just be prepared, it might take a bit of patience here.

First off, the staff was super friendly, especially Katelyn (hopefully I spelled her name correctly!). The restaurant was clean, and even the bathrooms were clean, which I think is a very underrated but VERY appreciated quality for any public business. And these guys are FAST. Like, the food comes out so hot you almost can't eat it right away I LOVE that. Where I'm from, it feels like they cook the fries first, let them sit there getting cold, and then your wings finally hit the bag. Not here. This location has it DIALED IN. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and actually tastes like it was just made. I even signed up for the Wingstop app for the first time because they're giving away 5 free wings, so that was a nice bonus too. But seriously, this location brought my love for Wingstop back. Great food, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and FAST service. Whoever is running this location is doing something right. This place deserves some recognition!

An individual 9" pie, a favorite "the Rustic Carnivore". The next size up was 11". I grabbed a Tropical Iced tea and found a hi-top placed front and center with the screen. I went to the restroom, washed up and my salad was being delivered. My pizza showed up as I was nearly done with the salad oh yea. The Pie was cut in fourths, so it was a folded slice to eat, that works. Very Good, good coverage on toppings, sauce was flavorful and it was oven hot WoW I was impressed, as I was enjoying, the rest of the crowd showed up for pizza. Nice timing foodguy.
