Not sure what's happened here and I hate to post anything negative but we've given this place so many tries after some terribly assembled pizzas. Sometimes they're barely cooked, sometimes totally burned and hit or miss in getting toppings right when you build your own. Fair warning if you'd like to try them. I hope they get a clue and fix whatever issues they got going on. We loved them but for the price we expect way more. read more

Of all the fast-bake, build-your-own (byo) pizza joints in the area, Blaze is a top favorite for thin crust pies. They have an OK variety of toppings, not as many as my other top byo pizza place, but adequate. They include all the usual suspects but also had special items like roasted garlic cloves and kalamata olives. Another big plus, they had my favorite balsamic finishing glaze. Their regular thin crust has the best texture. It is tender but sufficiently sturdy to not bend under the weight of toppings. Taste-wise, it is a little "white bread" bland but good enough if you think of it merely as an edible utensil for carrying toppings to your mouth. 3.5 stars upgraded to 4. They get an extra half star for the constant cleaning I witnessed while waiting for my takeout order. All staff were properly masked and gloved. A staff person even wiped down the glass after I passed thru the assembly line. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I asked for price of made your own pizza for high rise dough with veggies and the Pizzaiolo was not even sure and just started blabbering that it will cost up to $25 to $30, that's really steep and the prices aren't even posted anywhere in the store. Charged way more over the website prices and posted prices. Only if I could give less than 1 star to this place. read more

Blaze Pizza is the best ever. They don't scrimp on ingredients. Tons of meats, veggies and etc. Little salty though. Cheese is not enough but acceptable. The crust is very thin and you taste the items not the bread. WOW, their pizza is different. You got to try it. Recommended. Friendly service and clean. read more

Giving two stars. Curbside was horrible, I had to call the number numerous time only to have to walk in to pick up inside. They stated they were busy but I don't understand how they only have one phone line to call and place order and for curbside. Light and not oily! Delish! We did take out and it did not disappoint my craving for pizza. The crust was thin, light and crispy but a little chewy and not oily. The chicken arugula pizza was perfect. Loved how nothing overpowered this pizza, everything had a nice balance. We got a cheese for the little and an all meat which I didn't try but looked a little skimpy on the meat but the fellas enjoyed it. We will definitely be back, far better than MOD pizza. read more

What a rapid deterioration in quality and taste of the pizza. I ordered a vegan, a meat lovers pizza and cheesy garlic bread. The pizza was not cooked and the meat and sauce lacked flavor. The vegan pizza had topings sprinkled sparingly that failed to provide any sort of taste. I ordered 2 pizzas both well done, both had to put in the oven when we got home they were soggy. 2: the veggies were old and smelled weird? 3:the salad for 5.95 was disgusting! As a DoorDash dasher, I hate going to this place, especially when it's busy. And when it's busy, they really don't know what the Heck they're doing. Poor organization. If you order cheesy bread, they won't have it made until you say something about it. I saw this several times with customers, because they are so ingrained about customizing your PIZZA! And don't get me started on their pizza skills. I've seen them burn pizzas and still pass them off to the customer. Pieology would remake it (as would MOD pizza, but I have not seen a MOD pizza in the Tri-Valley. Yet. Perhaps.) But I digress, and they are the only pizza place I have seen cool off their pizzas. Probably because the last person to touch your food is so frazzled behind all of the boxes stacked in front of them. My point is their customer service sucks more than a slurpee! OK, let me get to the really real review! I already notice something different about this location, it's not runned by the usual friendly college students, but rather shrewd Indian lady, and a couple other minions who seem related or family friends. So I began telling her I want the custom, and in my usual fashion, I ask for majority of the toppings, including most of the cheeses. I can tell she starts getting irritated, and once I start asking for most of the toppings, she said, "your pizza won't be good." I said "I do this all the time", she says, it will be "soggy with so many toppings," I says "don't worry I do this all the time, this is the way I like it," she says, "this isn't pizza! this is a sandwich," I says, "this is the way I like it," she tries to skimp on some toppings when I tell her all of those, I says, "more plz" she's like "this is NOT pizza," and she's like "you can do what you want, I just want to make your pizza good," looking ultra ticked off like I am taking food out of her babies mouth. I later verified she was the owner from the baker. I'm thinking, get the heck out of this business if you're not going make pizza's the way it was intended....which is MY WAY! Lebron James would be ashamed for running his chain like this.... It is very clear this owner completely lost the heart of the chain and is cheapening on ingredients... seems like she's running it like some Indian Bazaar or something. Somebody from HQ needs to come in check her...! Finally...I hate to bring race into it...but HOW is a middle age Indian woman going to tell me, "this is NOT pizza." She grew up in Italy and knows pizza .... What she meant to say is, "You're taking my all my profits away, by putting most of the toppings on your pizza! I am hear to make money!!! " Just be honest rather than give me some condescending statement. If you see a middle age Indian woman making your pizza, don't expect an abundance of toppings, and you better get firm with her or else you're gonna end up with toast and tomato sauce! I am not trying to put her out of business, I am hoping she will be quite sucessful if she learned some good customer service and built some rapport with her neighborhood. Been coming here for some time now. Never had an issue with the pie, or the service. The ingredients are always fresh and I love the wide selection of toppings. Personally, I think the crust is perfect and is why it has become my go-to for pizza cravings when I'm working out in Pleasanton. I am always greeted with friendly smiles and they seem to remember me, which is nice. Ofelino, who always seems to be there, makes my pizza for me personally. He knows just the way I like it and is very eager to make my experience a good one. They are lucky to have such great employees. Recently tried ordering on-line and had no issues. All went smooth and efficient and my order was hot and waiting for me when I arrived. All-in-all I feel Blaze makes a great pizza. Along with the great service I feel I am getting a valued experience. I look forward to my next visit soon. read more

This place is still quite new as I'm writing this review, but I LOVE MOD Pizza in San Ramon, so I thought I'd give this a shot. (Incidentally, there's also another make-your-own pizza spot in downtown Dublin, but that "Pie" place is not a good experience. Don't go there. Ever.) This place was actually quite good. I was surprised, given how new it is. Most newer spots often take awhile to find their way. But the pizza here was excellent. Not as many toppings as MOD, but some notable standouts - like fresh mozzarella and spicy red sauce. I got both, and they were superb. But I counted eight workers when I arrived, only one of which was making pizzas for customers. Not a good ratio, obviously. And you'll pay an extra $1 to customize your own pizza. Not cool. MOD doesn't do this, so Blaze shouldn't, either. Have one price. Stop the "add-on" nonsense. It makes everyone happier without that - and it also makes this place slightly pricier than MOD. But overall, a good experience. This place is solid. I'll definitely go back. If you live in Dublin or Pleasanton, this beats driving to San Ramon for MOD. Keep it up, Blaze! read more

We have been coming to this pizzeria since it opened. We love the thin crunchy crust we also love that you can choose your toppings. The size is perfect for us and when we come with our grandkids they can each choose what they like. The staff is always super nice! The place is always clean. I built my own pizza which is a great thing with this place. I added 3 kinda of cheese, two meats and lots of veggies and it was still a cheap deal. The pizza turned out amazing! All the vegan choices they had made me excited as well haha. Really love Blaze. In particular for its vegan cheese option. I always get a build your own and then add spicy red sauce. That's the key. You can do the regale sauce and get jalapeños but it's not as flavorful next day. I add tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, olives, pineapple, and spinach. Sometimes peppers and various other veggies if mood strikes. I love to mix the drinks to cut some of the heavier sugar lemonade types and generally (no matter which flavors are there at the time) really savor the beverage. It's one of the reasons I like Blaze more than others. Nice clean new place and I'm so thankful they finally opened here! I've been getting my blaze fix when I travel or in Fremont. Bulls-eye !!! 3 large for 30 and 2 large for 20 .... Bammmm ... got the kids happy with the cheese - pineapple, cheese - Olives and cheese - mushroom. I love getting blaze pizza...but not for the pizza. I actually love their salads. The portion sizes are large and has a ton of toppings. They are always mixed well and the pricing is fair. I also have gotten their cauliflower crust pizza and enjoy that but their online system can be glitchy at times when trying to order that crust. read more

I'm a big fan of the build your own pizza with original dough and the classic red sauce along with pesto around the crust. The cauliflower and keto crust options are available for those who prefer gluten free. The build your own comes with unlimited toppings including a wide range of veggies from kalamata olives to banana peppers and pineapple. The meats are a bit limited with your standard pepperoni, chicken, sausage, etc. Also, they can be a bit stingy with the portion sizes so don't be embarrassed to ask for more or extra of each topping (I literally had to do that for every topping with this one staff member). I found that ordering is actually more time consuming than the actually baking process, which takes no more than 5-10 minutes. When the pizza finally comes out of the oven, you can top it off with the following finishes: arugula, balsamic glaze, bbq drizzle, buffalo sauce, pesto, olive oil, or ranch. There's always way more employees than necessary for the very small crowd, and none have much customer service skills. I've been here about 10 times in last year. I know it's a chain but this is a really great pizza. For $13.25 (cheap by today's standard) you get an unlimited topping personal pizza (it'll fill you up). They have so many choices for toppings including different sauces, cheeses, and things like artichokes, fresh garlic, etc. But what truly sets Blaze apart is every time I come here the toppings are incredibly fresh. Their pizza and Ingredients are very high quality. And frankly because they make your pizza to order, way way better than getting dried out slices somewhere. I highly recommend. Placed an online order mid-day. Said it would be ready at 335pm, I got there about 345pm. Food was still warm but not hot - FYI they have shelving that holds online orders so you just walk in and pick up from there. I ordered 1 large cheese pizza and the 10pc dough rolls. When I got home my husband was the first to open the pizza box --- "um ok" was his reaction. The pizza was well over done, cheese was black on top. At first it tasted just OK, then I was like "yanno this isnt really that great." Maybe if it was cooked properly and still hot it'd be better,maybe if I tried something with toppings. The KETO pizza here is the best I've had, and I've tried them ALL, since there's nothing decent that's frozen. (BTW - do NOT waste your money on the keto pizza at "On Fire" pizza in San Ramon. Seriously, we took 2 bites and threw the whole thing out! Seriously, it was THAT bad). I got the basalmic glaze on the mushroom/spinach Blaze pizza for flavor - so, so good! The only reason I gave this review 4 stars is for the cost - it's $15 for a small 11 inch pizza, and is too light/small to split between 2 people, it's really more of a personal pizza than something significant enough to share... maybe if you had a salad or side then 1/2 a pizza would work, but that's hard to do when you're already spending $15+ for the pizza.
