I came here around 8:30pm on a Sunday night and it was really busy. Service was really slow. Clean and large interior. Some outdoor seating with lots of lighting is nearby. The entree salad is large enough for 2 servings. The ricotta cheese didn't taste very fresh but the serving sauce was generous. First of all, I am a huge Blaze Pizza fan. Love love love it! Can't get enough! I normally order through the app but went in today. I was greeted and asked to wait a min which was fine. The whole process was seamless! It wasn't until I got to the guys who put the pizzas into the oven and put the drizzle on. There were 2 guys probably in late teens to early 20s fooling around. I didn't pay any attention till they started calling for "Mana". My name is Maria. When no one responded, he started fidgeting with the pizza. Joking they would eat it. I walked over and asked if it was for "Maria". He grabbed the box and threw it on the counter. I grabbed it and didn't say a word. My friends pizza was called and I noticed mine didn't have the drizzle I asked for. I was over and asked for him to put Buffalo drizzle on hers and pesto on mine. He did hers then turned to mine and doused it in Buffalo. I opened the box to make sure and it was. Him and his buddy were laughing. I hate Buffalo, I can't stand spicy food. By now I was furious bc not only were they messing with my food but they intentionally put something I didn't ask for on it. My friend insisted they change it out. I went to the register and the manager asked me what did I want her to do about. I was taken aback by her rude demeanor. I had her make a new one. The whole time listening to these 2 assholes snicker about the situation. I've never been rude to food industry employees. If anything I regard them highly. I always tip and I'm polite. Obviously this branch of blaze has issues. Not only are their employees immature and rude but their management is no better. And I wasn't the only one. I saw them fidgeting with another mans food. I try to only leave reviews when I have a positive experience because I think hard working people deserve praise, but this was a terrible experience I had on 7/14/24. I stayed calm and nice the entire time but witnessed multiple forms of food contamination. I addressed an allergy right up front where the employee took out the paper to write the order on with contaminated gloves then handed the paper to the next employee with contaminated gloves and he proceeded to go to the refrigerator and grab the "allergy free" crust with his contaminated gloves and place it on the tray, then after contaminating the crust, took off his gloves and said I'll be the only person to handle the pizza and changed his gloves. Then got a different spoon to place other toppings on with but used contaminated toppings. And did not know that oregano was an herb or that gf on the menu meant gluten free. Just a bunch of little things that management should be teaching the staff. When the pizza came out of the oven it was cut with the same cutter as other pizzas again contaminating the pizza for someone with a bad allergy. That pizza was thrown away rather than embarrassing myself by asking them to do better and look petty for asking them to do their job correctly. People do not understand how hard allergies are and judge you for being difficult. The second pizza was just a regular pizza, no allergy concerns which was for myself. I ate one slice and was really really sick after and thought, it must of been something else, it couldn't have made me sick that fast. The next day since I still had a whole pizza minus the one slice I got it out to toast it and found a huge hair on one side, (posted photo) Threw that side away and toasted and ate 2 slices that were left. I was sick the rest of the day! I think it was the arugula placed on top and not cooked. Or one of the cheeses, that's just a guess. Aside from the really poor food handling that reflects on management, the one star is for the employees who actually were very nice and hustling to serve a busy restaurant. But I will never eat there again because I don't think the food is being handled correctly. And the long hair was disgusting! I actually don't usually freak out about hair, I just throw away the part with the hair touching it, but it was stuck in the cheese and really gross. And the hair was not mine. read more

Apparently someone already picked up my order and they want to argue with me. It's loud in here with loud music so they obviously don't hear the right names. How many Jolenes are there here. Someone gave my order away now we have to wait in this hot store. This is why I ordered ahead. There is no man that's going to pick up my order dude. Worst service we've received since we started coming here. They lost one of our pizzas! We are so disappointed we always spend $60+ dollars when we come here and today they basically just gave us inedible food. They lost our kids pizza and my partner and I had already received ours. As parents we don't feel comfortable eating before our kids so we waited. By the time we got their food situation figured out mine and my partners food was cold and soggy. Grease had pooled at the bottom of one of our pizzas and mine was very badly burned and cold. To add to this whole experience we saw a giant roach walking around the floor that scared my kids. Sadly we will not be ever returning to this location. I was impressed by Blaze especially compared to pieology. I thought the ingredients were fresh including the veggies and meats. They also had everything I wanted like roasted garlic and regular garlic. We ordered online and they don't deliver (sad) but at least on that day they had free upgrades for our online order. This is the 4th time in a row I have been let down at this location. The first time I ordered 2 pizzas for pickup, and when I arrived they let me know they missed making the second pizza and told me it would be about 20 minutes for it to be completed. I requested they remake the first one too so I wouldn't have one fresh pizza and one cold pizza. I left feedback online asking to be contacted. No reply. Second and third time online orders took an hour to be prepared and once they were received there were several missing toppings. I left feedback on those and asked to be contacted. Of course, no reply. Today I placed an order and arrived at the restaurant right on time for pickup. I believe they must have put it in the oven for just 2 minutes to melt the cheese before removing it and placing it in the box ready to go. I checked my pizza in the parking lot and it wasn't even luke warm, it was COLD! I ordered the thicker crust and it was pretty good. -delivery was free on postmates -it was a little more expensive but since delivery was free it ended up being the same price as Mod on a delivery app -the toppings were sparce. This is not fast food. Waited in line 30 minutes just to get to the point of building our pizza. None of the staff are friendly. No smiles or a greeting.
