Not the employees, not the ordering process, got the crust wrong (not gluten free), ran out of several ingredients, register didn't work, their app didn't work, and their rewards didn't work. Courtney saved the day for us! I lost my car key and finally figured out that I must have accidentally thrown it out with our trash. I went through the trash myself but could not find it. She offered to dig through the trash herself and she found it. I already had a locksmith on the way to replace my key. I'm visiting here from Northern California and I forget if she was the manager or assistant manger for blaze pizza but her name was Courtney and she had short hair and she was probably one of the nicest people there. She was behind us in line while we were making our pizza and after we were done she asked how it was. I have been to this location twice. The first time I purchased one build your own pizza . It was really good. So I decided for dinner on Monday night I will pick up dinner for the family. I got everyone's order and went to purchase 3 build your own pizza's . One had high rise crust. I noticed how busy it was as the person controling the oven area was very busy. When I got home and opened the pizza's ALL 3 OF THEM WERE BURNT ON THE BOTTOM. I MEAN 85% WAS BLACK. My daughter's pizza was not even cut for her. Needless to say my family was not too happy about their 1st experience with Blaze. I believe there were so many pizzas in the oven at one time. There seemed to be no control on how long our pizza's. cooked. Very much disappointed. I can't always buy out and this was a treat that turned out to be a bummer dinner. .I only wish I took a picture of them. Wow! Couldn't believe my experience was so different from the couple other locations I have been to (including Mission Viejo mall). I was shocked that 2 hours before closing they completely ran out of chicken. Then there weren't any cherry tomatoes and the guy proceeded to go in the back to only return after what was a good amount of time with just a handful. Not only was the pizza delicious, but we happen to engage with Courtney Adams who is possibly the best general manager of a restaurant I have ever met. She helped us fixed a situation, went out of her way to be a help, and her kindness is beyond words. Whoever has employed this wonderful woman, has done themself a great favor! Let me start off by saying the food and drink are very good for fast food pizza. However, the service was easily sub-par. I counted 14 high school-aged employees at one point and zero management to herd the cats. Don't get me wrong- I think it's great that they're working and have jobs, but they were tripping over one another and staring at their feet when they talked to you. When they weren't scuffing up each other's high tops, there was mostly just a lot of standing around. It was 54 degrees outside and I'm pretty sure the AC was on. We took half out pizza to go and eat at home because it was so frigid. One of the teenage employees mumbled what I can only assume was a question and I asked him to repeat what he said. He mumbled something else again and then walked away. Very strange. Another kid who was one of probably seven who helped build my five-ingredient pizza appeared to be scared and alone on his first day, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't his first day. My Husband and I came in to get a pizza, and the service that the staff gave us was outstanding! I was amazed how cautious they were with my pizza as they made it, ( I have allergies). So surprised by the hidden treasure with Blaze Pizza at the outlets. Especially amazing is the young owner, leslie who is super fast, happy and accommodating. Went on a Friday night and there was a long line. Moved pretty quickly, and didn't have any complaints. Friendly service, lots of options to choose from on how you can create your pizza. About $7 for one topping and around $9 for unlimited toppings. Salads are around $4 and are nicely portioned (could use more chicken in them). Original sauce is a little sweet. Did not like my meal at all. The beet salad comes pre made in a plastic container with what tastes like canned beets. The pizza I had was with red sauce and ricotta cheese and artichokes. My son has a severe dairy allergy. We were so excited about the precautions they take to help ensure his pizza is just right. (I understand that they can't guarantee 100%, that is with any place you eat if you have a food allergy). But Blaze has done an exceptional job. One employee especially, Courtney, has done an outstanding job to not only make us feel welcome when we eat here but she also puts a big smile on my son face. Most of the time, he gets bummed if he can't eat the food when we go out. So we only eat at the places he can. (It's not his fault he was born with a dairy allergy) We eat frequently (once a week) at Blaze and knowing that Courtney and other employees like her that work there, that this mom gets a night off of cooking once a week. First impression was the noise level - way too loud for me. I was with my three grandchildren, ages 21, 12, and 8. The first young man who took our order was very friendly and glad to see us. The next young man who was in charge of sauce and cheese was also very friendly. Then we went on to a young lady in charge of toppings, which is where the friendliness stopped. She had no patience for the 8 year old who was unfamiliar with the process, so was having trouble seeing the choices and making up his mind. And, because of the noise level, communicating with her was all the more difficult. We were fortunate to find a place to eat outside and away from the noise. I ordered the gluten-free crust and, frankly, I think the Udi brand frozen pizza is better. The reviewer's comment about hiring someone who does nothing but keep things clean should be taken seriously by the manager of this location. read more
