I wish I could give this place a higher rating :( I've been coming here for a while now and I absolutely love the pizza, but it's difficult to continue going when you have the possibility of getting treated so rudely by the employees. Trust me, I completely understand how difficult it can be when you're trying to close and customers keep walking in. I was under the impression that Blaze closed at 10pm or I wouldn't have even tried to walk in. For me, coming in to get yelled at by the girl with red hair, with such a passive aggressive comment is really upsetting. Again, I completely understand the frustration with customers walking in while you're trying to close, but consider having better customer service, and find a better way to say you won't be able to take my order since you're closing then, "since we literally don't have enough time to fire a pizza in the oven we're not gonna be able to serve you". I would've been totally fine with a, "Sorry guys, we're about to close so we can't take any more orders." The service was superb even when they have long lines. The wait time from making my pizza wasn't too bad especially since you are able to watch them cook your pizza right there in front of you. My only gripe was that they lost track of one of my friends pizza which caused us to stay there longer than we had to when we had other things to do that night. They took care of us however and made us another pizza on priority, plus the pizza in which they lost track of. The pizza on the other hand was good, but up to my own standard on how I enjoy mine. I won't blame the store because I had the option to customize it to my liking, but was too stubborn to see it the way they had it on their menu. So a tip to others is... Extremely unresponsive to police officers. Failed to respond, call back, etc on an open case they are trying to investigate. Pretty sure an employee/shift manager picked up my wallet after it dropped out of my purse when walking out and they haven't cooperated with the police over it. They've (sparks pd) requested footage and they have failed to provide it. Of course the young dude working that night got over $100 in cash from it amongst other things and doesn't want himself to be rat out. Voicemails have been left and numbers left for the owner and there has been zero response. I love Blaze pizza but I won't support this franchise. I had the chance to try Blaze Pizza out by a bit of a mishap, I found multiple "free pizza" coupons in the mail room at my old apartment complex and thought to myself "Hm, if these free pizza coupons are just lying around by the literal dozen, how good could it be?" Turned out, freaking FANTASTIC. The amount of toppings is sky high, there is truly something for everyone out there. They have every topping under the sun that I'm aware of and even more. Think of it as a Subway/Chipotle/Port of Subs for Pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have multiple options for sauce, cheese and I believe dough as well. They also have delicious drink options such as Strawberry Agua Fresca which was so refreshing and delicious. Love that stuff! Both my girlfriends pizza and my own turned out perfect and done just right. Not burnt but not doughy. They are also quick and attentive! Within ten minutes of them taking my order and putting my pizza in the oven, they were done! On top of all of that the price is right, super reasonable and affordable. I had been wanting to try Blaze so the grand opening at their new location at Legends Mall was the perfect opportunity and...our pizzas were free! No just a slice or 1 pizza per household, one pizza per person and any pizza. Very generous. Despite the long line for the event, the whole process was smooth. Their whole gimic is that the pizzas cook in 3 mins so it was reasonably fast with the line line they handled. And handled like champs. I ordered a pepperoni. You can choose from sauces and they will put as much cheese on the pie as you like. I was even asked if the amount of pepperoni was good. No extra charges for more. My boyfriend ordered the meat lover's. You can add additional toppings such as jalapenos for free. He added jalapenos! We also ordered their pesto, garlic dough knots. 4 large knots for $2.95. They also offer fresh salads, good selection of beverages (I had blood orange lemonade...sooo good) and cookies and brownies. Everything was delicious. Cooked perfectly and fast. The decor and atmosphere is warm. A lot of seating and being at the mall, great location, lots of parking. I highly recommend this place. My boyfriend and I stopped by this evening and got two pizzas and the pesto knots to go. Everything tasted great and the pizza's crusts were still crispy even after we had to let them sit for a few minutes before we could sit down to eat. MOD pizza was Derrick Fisher getting laid out by Chris Webber. The best part of this place was the Chief Pizza Officer. He helped pick my order, and even recommended the vegan chorizo it tastes so good. Also the bathroom locations in this facility are located in the best area possible. I took the family to test drive the new Blaze Pizza in Sparks. Being fans of Mod Pizza, we had high hopes that Blaze would be our go to pizza stop but we were sadly disappointed. We ordered 5 pizzas, the first thing I noticed was the sauce containers were nearly empty and sauce was scattered everywhere. Instead of bringing out fresh new sauce, they were scrapping the last remnants of what was left trying to make it work on our pizzas. I asked if they could go get a new container, they ignored us. They same thing happened with the cheese and the salt was clumpy so it left "salt bombs" on our pizzas. The 4 thin crusts were burnt to a crisp and our one thick crust was undercooked. There was not balance probably because the kid that was cooking and cutting was severely distracted because he kept having to go fix the stuck water dispenser on the soda machine. The last insult to injury is that our pizzas were not properly cut so we had to tear the pieces apart which made the toppings fall off. I'd expect more from a brand new franchise in the area. The place was dirty, garbage cans were full, surfaces were dirty. No sign of ownership present which is what you would expect from a brand new restaurant. That may explain why it was not busy which was a surprise. I felt like I wasted $36.00 even with the free pizza coupon. Thanks Blaze, I won't be returning. read more

Probably the best pizza I've had in all of Reno. Loved the environment, came in with some of my friends and all the employees were super friendly. Restaurant was clean and well kept. The line was fairly long when we arrived but it moved very fast. By the time we got our drinks and sat down, our pizzas were coming out of the oven. Their food is fresh and delicious, very good quality pizza. I got the red vine pizza and it was so good! I also recommend getting some dough knots, those were amazing. We ordered it at 5:15. They said it would be ready around 5:30. We arrived and called them to let them know we were here. They said they were "still working on it". Fair enough. We waited another 20-25 minutes. Not ONE employee had come out to deliver "curbside" pick-up. People had been waiting for quite a while. I decided to go in and get my order. There was an older guy working behind the counter. I told him I'd been waiting for my order. He practically ignored me! Fortunately, the guy working next to the oven FINALLY completed our order. Tonight was the first night we tried Blaze Pizza, and I have to say we were very impressed with the pizza. I had the cauliflower crust with the vegetarian toppings with added goat and feta cheeses, arugula and other extra veggies, and hubby and our son shared a large pepperoni, salami and mushroom pizza. We declared it to be superior to Domino's, which has been our usual fast pizza stop. I was very impressed with the flavor, texture and taste of the cauliflower crust. My husband said he wouldn't mind having their pizza on that next time and my son really liked it too! We also has an order of knots that were really yummy (topped with pesto) and I had a ceasar salad with my pizza. We will be back for sure! read more

I stopped in here on Tuesday because I had not had pizza in awhile and I thought I would try something new. When I walked in I noticed that it is set up very much like a Subway or Port of Subs. You get in line and can select the type of pizza you want from the menu board or build your own. They have different sauces you can select and the type of cheese you want. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza with a garlic pesto sauce and mozzarella cheese. Then it goes down the line to the pizza oven and it only takes about four to five minutes to fire it up and when it comes out you can get a drizzle topping, I had some ranch dressing drizzled on it. One of the best pizzas I have ever had and a good size pizza for the price. You get 6 good slices out of each pizza. I also had a small salad and some dough knots which were very good. I was very impressed and will be coming here to get my pizzas anytime I'm in town. read more
