This is such a great go-to bagel place - If I was here, I would come all the time. I would even go as far as to say that this is the best bagel place that I've been to on the west coast. I got a breakfast sandwich - bacon, egg, cheese on an everything bagel. I also got a blueberry bagel toasted with heavy cream cheese for later. The breakfast sandwich was so crispy and had the perfect chewy texture that you want in a bagel. I really liked that it seemed like they used real cheddar cheese and real eggs instead of the powdered/bag ones. Usually I feel like BEC bagels usually only have a couple pieces of bacon but they really stuffed this one full. Wowza..I could get that at the grocery store for 2-3 dollars but of course you can't beat the quality and freshness. We got the everything with cheese, asaigo, plain, and one sweet one. It took us a while to decide what to get but the guy at the counter was patient. He also asked if we wanted it sliced as well. They have a small table outside just under the tree. Quite nice if the weather permits. As far as the bagel is concerned, it was good. Just the right amount of chewiness without being like you're eating gum and the size is bigger than what you'd get at a packaged up Sara Lee bagel. It wasn't dry like you're eating chalk either or day old bread. It reminds me of an Einstein bagel. My only gripe was that there are so many choices and you can't sample any. Parking was easy-peasy. It was our first time here and the cashier was very sweet and helpful while we placed our order. We ordered two breakfast bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese, a bagel dog, and a cranberry orange bagel with honey raisin spread. I really enjoyed my breakfast bagel, I love a good asiago bagel but this one sadly wasn't really cheesy - could barely tell it was an asiago bagel. Really unsure why the lower score on this place. It is sooooo good! Finally went to try it with some family that was in town and it was the perfect quick breakfast option for the vegans, vegetarians, and omnis in the group. Everyone loved what they got and were happy with their orders. I personally got the Zoe Zuckerman which was PERFECT. I got it on a jalapeño cheese bagel and it was toasted yet chewy yet soft with the perfect amount of innards. My husband got the vegan sausage, egg, and cheese and he said it was also fabulous. Service was friendly and super fast on a Friday morning. I will absolutely be back and recommend it to anyone coming through the area looking for breakfast or lunch. I had a random bagel craving one night and decided to go here with my friend for breakfast the next morning after seeing what an amazing menu they had. It was a really hard choice but I like to do a sweet breakfast so I went with the French Toast Bagel. My friend got the Snickerdoodle. We had them plain, no cream cheese needed. I tasted the Snickerdoodle first and it was really nice. The cinnamon sugar on top went perfectly well with the toasted bagel. Friend really liked it too. As for my French Toast Bagel... This was just pure bliss! The vehicle itself was yellow in color just like French toast and even had swirls of maple syrup in the bagel! And to take it to the another level It was topped with large sugar crystals and more maple syrup. I asked for it toasted and this was just the perfect breakfast! This is a decent bagel spot in the Seattle are, but there are definitely some flavors that were more fluffy than others. The sesame bagel and the pizza bagel were so fluffy and light. The pizza bagel was also special in its own way. However, the sourdough bagel was kind of hard and small and dense. I got a bagel sandwich with lox and veg and it did the job. I also got a couple bagels to take home with some veggie cream cheese that was decent. The service was friendly and it was a fast pickup. I think their standard bagels like the sesame, (which I ordered a dozen of and happily finished)--are good, but not the best bagels I've had. It is more worth using your trip to BB to get one of their unique flavors! What I appreciated about the pepperoni pizza one for example was that they managed to make it taste lights and more sophisticated. It didn't feel heavy like you'd imagine with overly oily, cheesy, or greasy ingredients on dense bread. They managed to take all of the ingredients of a pep pizza and elevate the flavors: a tasty Asiago cheese with sun dried tomato flavor and subtle herbs. I discovered this place on my last trip to Bellevue and it is now one of the highlights of my occasional work trips to the area. I, too, love and adore this place. The staff is great. This time one of the friendlier ladies working behind the register helped guide me, sensing my indecisiveness. I wanted something akin to the classic bagel with lox and schmear, so she steered me to the Zoe Zuckerman. It's a bit pricey, but I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did. On a toasted Everything bagel it is absolutely divine. I'm from CA so I can't rightfully claim these bagels are as good as NYC ones but they must be close. They are chewy in the middle, just crunchy enough on the outside and spectacular all around. While enjoying my Zoe on a cheddar jalapeño bagel the next a.m. and snapping pics of the place I noticed something in the sign. The marketing schtick is "Best Bagels East of New York." I thought about it and thought it should be "Best Bagels West of New York." Being in a good mood from the fine bagel I just ate, I spotted one of the friendly staffers who was picking up trash outside and asked him about it. He told me he thinks it's a joke from the owner who obviously has a good sense of humor from the signage in the place. He also told me he gives out free bagels when his team wins. I think I heard that correctly, but it sounds like he's a huge sports fan and all around good guy. I will of course be returning on my next b trip to Bellevue. Looking forward to it! read more

I absolutely love Blazing Bagels! Fresh bagels, cool wrapping, excellent bagel combinations, and a nice variety to choose from. We got a breakfast bagel, a Bernie boondock craft sandwich, cinnamon raisin, and a snickerdoodle bagel. We wanted to try the French toast, but they were sold out! Service is pretty quick, they have self serve drip coffee station (only small or large coffee), they make lattes, but the seating area is small and cramped. It does get extremely busy, but the workers are efficient. You can choose whatever bagel you want for you breakfast sandwich and your crafts sandwich. For the breakfast bagel, we got, bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. It was yummy, but I felt like it was more bread than the good stuff inside. As for the boondock, this was my favorite! It had turkey, jalapeno cream cheese, cheese, lettuce, and tomato, on a jalapeno and cheese bagel! Fire!!!! Of course I needed breakfast dessert, so I tried the cinnamon raisin and snickerdoodle. The cinnamon raisin was less sweet and the snickerdoodle had a nice semi crunchy sugar coating on the top layer. It was soo good. I would have liked them better if they were toasted and with cream cheese. I'm already longing for another boondock and to try different bagels. read more

Best bagels I've found in Seattle! TBH they deserve better than 4 stars. I went at noon on a Saturday... a time I would expect a mad house. And although there were a handful of people waiting for their orders, I was helped right away. Also, they still had every single bagel flavor in stock. I was happily surprised as I'm used to minimal options if stopping at a bagel shop past mid-morning. I got an extra toasted French Toast Bagel with Plain cream cheese served open faced. I love the ability for customizations. (i love my bagels very toasty and open face) The French Toast Bagel is so unique and delicious! Definitely a must try! I come here occasionally before work and it's awesome! The staff is always helpful when asked questions and the service is always quick! I usually get the vegan breakfast sandwich and typically get it on a bagel but this time I got it on bread and it was still pretty good; However, I recommend choosing from a variety of their bagels to spice up your breakfast sandwich. Finally! After trying so many subpar bagels around Seattle, I've finally found a place that does it right. Before my visit to Blazing Bagels, my previous top spot was Macrina Bakery. And while their bagel and lox is tasty, you have to assemble it yourself. Boo! The sandwiches here all have fun names, and the bagel and lox here is referred to as a Zoe Zuckerman. I got mine on an everything bagel, which had the perfect crisp on the outside and chewiness on the inside. The lox was also fantastic. Only miss for me is the tomato, which is little thick and overpowering here. But still, I was so happy eating this sandwich. I had to try a breakfast sandwich too, and went with a sausage, egg and cheese on a cheddar bagel. The bagel itself was perfection once again, and everything in between was fantastic too. Blazing Bagels is proud of where they source their ingredients from, and this is a great example. I have to add that my order came out ridiculously fast. The staff called my name in less than five minutes, and I thought they had a question about my order. Nope, just a bag with my order. The bagels are pretty dang good and the beat I've had in WA. Im from Ny/Nj, so i know what a bagel is, and Blazing Bagels nails it better than anyone in WA. Their service depends on how busy it is, and it can get really busy on weekends and in the AM. The only issue i have is that they don't take cash. They'll accept cash for tips (the bucket os out with a sign) just not for payment. So, i come less than i would as i prefer to use cash. But, the bagels are good. read more

The bagels are great and the staff is nice, but they need to review food handling with the staff. The employee was wearing gloves when she rang up the first person, and then she proceeded to use her hands to package a dozen bagels for the next customer. She went back to the cash register and rang that person up too. There's no need for gloves if you're going to touch everything with them. They have tongs for the bagels. My go to order is an everything bagel with lox cream cheese. I haven't had anything else from here so I can't give a review of anything other than the five times I've picked up that exact order. Saturday mornings are packed. Order ahead. The lox cream cheese is excellent. The bagel is perfectly filling, and I'm highly satisfied each time I go. Realistically my rating is more like 4.25 because the bagel itself isn't the best bagel. There's an organic everything bagel I like more that I get from QFC. read more

We went here for the first time as we were looking for a good bagel shop in Bellevue, and this is a good place to go to get a good bagel. We got the breakfast bagel with bacon, eggs, and cheese on French toast and Asiago bagel. They were both yummy. Also, we tried the bagel dog, and it was hugeee. All the food was delicious, and we would go again. The service was good (it took a while to get our food, though, because it was really busy)! The only downfall to this place was all the flies that were inside. None of them went close to food, but it is gross to have that many inside of the restaurant.
