Blazing bagels has been a go to for me for as long as I can remember. I was so glad to see that there was an Issaquah location that opened, closer to me than the Redmond one. This shop is clean and located near a lot of parking options. My favorite bagel is the new-ish Beechers cheese and onion bagel as well as the french toast bagel - can't go wrong. Delicious cream cheese, though the herb one is a little too dill-forward for me. They have day old dog bagels too which is always an amazing treat for your furry friends. read more

Blazing bagels were bomb!! The prices were standard for a bagel shop and the quality was great! I love that they had flavored cream cheeses like NYC and some unique bagel flavors. I was visiting from out of town with friends and we all loved our bagels. I wish I could go back and try more items! Limited parking but we found a spot and there is street parking too. I have been coming here with my sister since they opened and usually have a great experience but this morning we were served by an absolutely rude and unpleasant employee. When I ordered, I explained that last time I came in I asked for my bagel to be cut in half and it wasn't but I really wanted it to be cut in half this time. I wasn't upset about this and made this request with a smile. I would rather my bagel come out right the first time so I don't have to send it back. I assumed it was a reasonable request and my bagel was in fact cut in half this time so I'm glad my request was accommodated. That being said, while my sister ordered her 12 oz iced oatmilk vanilla latte, the man taking our order asked her to clarify twice what she was asking for. I could see her order appearing on the screen and when my sister stepped away to let my parents order I noticed her request to have her drink iced hadn't popped up on the screen. Having worked at a coffee shop myself, I didn't think I was remiss in saying "I think she asked for her drink iced," but this man acted like I insulted his family and snapped at me that he was getting there. It just seemed like an unnecessarily hostile reaction to a friendly reminder. Blazing Bagels doesn't even have good coffee. Their chocolate syrup is never stirred in their mochas creating an inconsistent flavour that's sickly sweet at the bottom and bland at the top. The only reason I come in consistently is because their everything bagels with jalapeño cream cheese are incredible, but I can buy these bagels at PCC and make my breakfast at home in peace without an employee serving up a side of attitude. I've never had such an unpleasant interaction at Blazing Bagels but honestly I never want to go back. Absolutely disgusting rude behaviour from this employee. read more

Solid bagel place! It was crowded on a Saturday morning when I visited but the service was friendly and helpful. I got the jalapeño and cheese bagel with the garlic and herb cream cheese, and it was a good combination. The bagel was well-toasted and they don't skimp on the cream cheese. My friend got a breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it as well. Plenty of seating inside and bathroom available as well. I really wanted to like Blazing Bagel in Issaquah, but my experience was mixed. I ordered a gluten-free bagel and unfortunately found it stale and not properly warmed. Despite clearly highlighting my food allergies, there was cream cheese in my bagel, which was concerning. The staff seemed rushed and not very attentive to dietary restrictions, which left me feeling uneasy. We used their meeting room, which is a nice space for casual get-togethers, but the loud fan made it really difficult to hear each other -- not ideal for conversation. Also, the coffee here wasn't great. Stopped in this beagle spot for breakfast around 1030a on a week day. There was costumers sitting around eating but no line to order so I glanced at the menu above the register and someone came right out from the back to let me know he would be ready to help me when I've decided on something, we were off to a good start! I settled on an Asiago bacon, egg & cheese beagle and noticed from freshly squeezed (per the sign) orange juice chilling in ice on the counter. My beagle came out within 5 minutes which concerned me a little because they should need time to cook my egg and bacon right? So I sat down at a table and to no surprise my beagle was barely warm, the egg seemed microwaved and the bacon was not crispy. For me the beagle didn't have much Asiago cheese flavor but it was soft and the sandwich itself fine just not something I'd return for. I honestly do not understand the hype around Blazing Bagels in Issaquah. Every time I go, I leave feeling frustrated and overcharged. No, you have to buy everything separately. Want cream cheese? Extra charge. Want a decent amount of it? Probably another upcharge. Want anything beyond the absolute bare minimum? Get ready to watch your total climb fast. What should be a quick, affordable breakfast turns into a $15+ outing before you even realize what happened. It feels like they've structured their menu to squeeze every possible dollar out of customers. There's no sense of value or generosity - just constant add-ons and upgrades. By the time you've added a spread and a drink, you're paying way more than the experience is worth. And honestly, the quality doesn't justify the cost. The bagels are fine -- not life-changing, not exceptional -- just fine. But with prices like that, "fine" doesn't cut it. If you're going to charge premium prices, the food and service should feel premium too. Instead, it feels like a basic bagel shop with luxury pricing. The shop became pretty busy soon after we arrived a little after 9:30am. After ordering we sat at our table for less than ten minutes then it was delivered to us. After reading a previous review about eating there over taking it home for best results we decided to eat there. I also opted not to toast my pretzel bagel sandwich based on someone stating the bagel became way too chewy once they got home so I wanted to see what a non toasted bagel sandwich would be like. Both of my kids got theirs toasted and said it was great. I also felt the bagel warm and fresh non toasted was good too. Not sure how it would have been toasted then eaten at home. I opted for no cheese, egg and bacon on a pretzel bagel...and would love to see more egg on the sandwich- I loved seeing an actual egg with the yellow and white...just would like it to be a tad more substantial in size for $7.50. My husband ordered a French toast bagel with honey raisin schmear- I took a bite and it was scrumptious... actually looked about as filling as the sandwiches we had without the added cost. I saw a black can and blue can with what appeared to be a compost bag on opposite sides on the shop. Since blue usually means recycling I asked to check if it was actually compost since the green bag stated otherwise. The worker told me it was for compost AND recycling... ??? I pitched the entire bag in the blue compost bin since it was all "soiled" paper products... BUT there aren't any signs and saw a ton of paper bags in the black trash bin...which bummed me out....it is definitely confusing to see a typically blue recycling bin being used for BOTH recycling and compost. *** I urge Blazing Bagels to creat an additional bin designated for compost AND create signage educating customers of the options. I'm not sure what would be served in something designated as trash (possibly their drinks) but we try really hard to recycle and compost whenever possible! I do applaud the minimal to zero amount of waste for trash. Good job Blazing Bagels!! Honestly the issue I have is pricing- and I know it's in line with many overpriced donut and coffee shops in the area...but I still say they are all overpriced. $2.50-3.75 for a single bagel is a lot of money when you can get a dozen bagels at Costco for $8... I know I know they don't have the same variety but in pricey times you make adjustments! Three bagel sandwiches plus a bagel with schmear was $34.17. My husband's French toast bagel was $2.75 and single serving of schmear was $2.25. Definitely felt the cost of schmear is too much considering what cream cheese costs. But if you're looking for a filling breakfast here and trying to cut down on cost I'd say opt for the bagel and cream cheese for around $5 which is less than the $6.35-10 for a breakfast sandwich. read more

Very excited to have Blazing Bagels in Issaquah! It's right next to the salmon hatchery on Sunset. Stopped by to get bagel dogs & a lightly toasted sesame bagel with chive cream cheese, cukes & tomatoes. It's better to eat it right away otherwise your jaw will get a work out. Sesame bagel was good but tough by the time we got home. Toppings were fresh. Same for the bagel dogs, it's different than it used to be in Redmond. Eat it at the restaurant for best results. I will be stopping by again to bring fresh bagels home to toast at home. A sleeve of day old bagels can be had for $6.50 or so. Nice clean interior, coffee, juice, soft drinks available. I really wanted to like this place when I walked in. I really wanted to have a killer bagel place here in Issaquah, but alas. In regards to the bagels being "New York" style, I might put this place somewhere in the realm of Dunkin Donuts style bagels as they are on the east coast. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just a mediocre thing. That being said out here perhaps they're top tier as there is little to no bagel competition. I got some sort of chicken sandwich with chipotle smear because we came in around lunch. Not hot - not super tasty. When I saw the sandwich assembly lines around back it looked like breakfast sandwiches were microwaved so I'm not sure I'd go for that either. It's conveniently located but super pricey for what it is imo - even by Issaquah standards. Great service, well staffed. Always a fan of Blazing Bagels in Redmond and now closer to where I live. Location is great (street parking FYI) and it is pretty roomy inside with a good amount of seating. It's a diff ordering system than Redmond which I'm not sure I like. I like the paper ticket you hand off for some reason. This is order at the counter so know what you want. I've never had coffee at BB but have been getting it here. It's okay not anything to write home about but convenient alongside your bagel order. Great spot, very excited to have this in the neighborhood. One request to management: your online ordering function for Issaquah hasn't been working for over a month. I brought this up to an employee when I picked up my order that I placed over the phone and they confirmed management is aware and is actively working on it. I always check online before I call in to make a phone order and it still not working, regardless of browser or device. The reason I bring this up is because it's now clear that it takes time for the staff to take credit card information over the phone, when they're trying to help people in person. After being here twice, I can say I won't ever return. If it's not a concerning health code violation, it's an absolute unprofessional behavior from management. The first visit was when the store had been open for less than 4 weeks. I was really excited as my favorite coffee stand offered blazing bagel sandwiches. So delicious it's addicting! After placing my order I noticed a young man behind the grill drop a cleaning rag on the floor, then proceed to use to to clean his knives. I wish I had it in camera to show everyone! There was a young woman next to him who watched him drop it then clean as if nothing happened. I did ask for the manager, his name was Jason. He confirmed that that young man had an ongoing issue following basic health code procedures. They did insure my sandwich was properly prepared NOT by him. To my disappointment the sandwich was cold? Jalapeño cheese bagel with sausage, egg, and COLD cheese. I asked why they didn't serve warm food. Simply put: unless you ask for the cheese to be warmed up only the bagel Is toasted. Eww... The second visit was on Sunday the 8th 2024. This time I checked to make sure that young man was NOT there. Don't worry he wasn't. I asked the cashier to make sure the cheese was warmed up and I don't like COLD sandwiches. They said "Sure, no problem". I waited at the hand off area. To my dismay I watched as they toasted the bagel, and left everything else as is. COLD. When my name was called, I asked if they had warmed up the cheese. The man said "no, and it's too late to warm it up". So I told him "okay, remake it then". For some reason despite the 3 very large microwaves. All floor employees were confused as to how to warm up a sandwich, no really! Freaking confused. The floor manger even screamed out "WHAT DO YOU EVEN MEAN MELTED CHEESE?!" As if I had asked for an impossible thing, literally there are microwaves! She was so mad over a customer wanting a warm sandwich. She eventually told them to remake it and then stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Yes, all that anger and confusion for a 30 second heat up.
