THE BIG: This bagel spot was located in Ballard, however there's another location in Lake City. The Ballard location is quite big with a fair amount of sitting area. Street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here on a Friday right before noon and grabbed bagels to go. They had a big menu of bagels with spreads. The thing that caught my eye was the spicy miso scallion spread. I didn't get it but next time I will! I got the Olivia which had broccoli, vegan cream cheese and avocado. So delicious. The wife got the Rocky Raccoon and that was so good too! We took two bagels to go for our friends we were staying with. FYI: They're closed on Tuesdays. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall for four bagels, the damage done was around $66. The bagels here were amazing and I'd definitely come back to try more.

Stopped into Rachel's Bagels and Burritos and tried the lox bagel sandwich--really solid, fresh, and satisfying. The menu is surprisingly diverse, especially for a spot that leans so heavily into a grab-and-go model. They've definitely shifted since the old Porkchop & Co. days, but the new layout makes it easy to pop in and out quickly. Located right in the heart of Ballard, it's super walkable and convenient if you're already in the neighborhood. Parking, however, can be a bit of a challenge--pretty typical for the area. They do close early (1pm on weekdays), so plan accordingly. Overall, a good experience and definitely worth trying if you're looking for a quick, tasty bite in Ballard.

Stopped by for weekday brunch and was happy there was no wait at all. The menu has a wide variety of options, but I went with the breakfast bagel which was super filling and hit the spot. There is street parking and limited indoor seating, but the space is clean, bright, and inviting. Staff were friendly and everything felt well organized. I will definitely be back to try the burritos next time, and I might place an online order too.

Stop by this morning to grab a quick breakfast. I ordered the Audrey, which is a breakfast burrito with eggs, steak, cheese, potatoes, and peppers. The burrito was decent tortilla could've been grilled or pressed as it was a bit soggy. Potatoes were a little bland inside the burrito. But overall, the burrito was delicious. But for the price point of $17, I would expect a little more well constructed burrito. Ambience is nice typical Seattle coffee shop vibes which I like. They had a stack of books. You can take from the library and read while you're there really like that. But the bagels look amazing and I regret not ordering one. If you're in a Ballard area this is a cool place to check out as a staff is very nice and welcoming. I shall return.

This is my new favorite breakfast burrito place I've found in the area. We went on the weekend when the farmers market was going on. It is harder to find parking on the weekend, but luckily there's not a long line for food. We ordered The Raquel, The Audrey burrito, and the breakfast bagel. The food was super flavorful and came out quickly. We also ordered a London fog and the brown sugar latte which I recommend! The place is nice to sit in and has an industrial feel to it, except there is limited seating.

Seattle summer in a bagel sandwhich: Nino Art (bagel sandwhich, $16) on the togarashi flavored bagel. Is this the best bagel in the world? Probably not. Have I tried their breakfast burritos? Not yet. But this sandwhich just a delight. The Nino Art comes with NW wild lox, scallion cream cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeño, cilantro, and onion. The medley of it all is light and refreshing. If they bottled this flavor combo as a vibe, I'd buy it. Also want to shout out that they serve Kuma Coffee, a local roaster. Not my personal favorite in Seattle, but a very solid pick. I grabbed takeout, but it's the kind of place you catch up with a friend on a Saturday or Sunday morning on a warm summer day.

If you survived last nights wind storm, and are up early, great coffee, scrumptious bagels, savory breakfast burritos (or lunch for the late riser)... service here is efficient, courteous, even when super busy! Ambience is warm and inviting for a warehouse like space and the soft sounds of music in the background make for a really relaxing morning nosh! - come here often.

Extremely slow service. How long does it take to make a bagel sandwich? Decent quality bagels but also quite expensive. You can get a full sit down breakfast for the same price as many of their menu items. There is also a significantly cheaper and much faster option right down the road in Fremont.

Rachel's Bagels and Burritos is a great place for a quick but hearty breakfast. It's a cute spot located in Ballard that has a variety of really interesting bagel and burrito options. I got the I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone bagel sandwich with a poppy bagel. It was a little expensive (around $16), but it was filled with ingredients. It also stayed pretty intact as I was eating, which I appreciated since it didn't make a huge mess as I ate it. I didn't realize they had online ordering so I ordered in person, but they were pretty fast considering how busy they were. The staff here was also very friendly. I ordered a coffee that didn't come out, so I asked the employee making the coffees and she was really nice and made my coffee right away. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and it was really acidic and hard to drink. But I would definitely come back to try the burritos and more bagels!

I normally don't do this but I stopped in right before close, prepared for them to turn me away if the kitchen was already closed up. They did not and were super friendly despite my last minute appearance. I really enjoyed the burrito and was able to customize it with no cheese or dairy. It was packaged well too! The inside is cute with high ceilings and bright colors. They do have a patio that is dog friendly but you cannot bring your dog inside to order (there's a sign on the door about it). I would definitely order here again and maybe get the bigger size because it was so tasty, even though I probably don't actually need a whole pound of burrito lol (but I want it).

The bagels never fail here! They're super generous with the toppings and the combinations are great. Out of the ones I've tried, the Nick & Nora bagel with lox is my favorite. The service and atmosphere are great! They added in seating as well. (Though when it's a little busy, it's hard to grab a seat) If you want to try different bagels, make sure to go early! They do run out.

Given the name, we split a burrito and a bagel. We got a togarashi bagel for the rocky raccoon sandwhich that we had and while the sandwich itself was good, there was nothing too special about the bagel and I actually couldn't taste the togarashi. The burrito was great though. We got the audrey which was a steak breakfast burrito and that definitely filled us up. Gooey from the cheese, fluffy from the egg, and a bite from the steak = yum.

This has been a place that's been on my list for over a year. I actually went to another restaurant who turned out to be closed which gave me the chance to try this place since I was in the area. Ambiance - no seating, grab and go. Service - woman who took my order was so patient as I combed through the menu and also made some recommendations. Food - The food was just ok unfortunately. I had their steak breakfast burrito which was sorta bland. The plain tortilla was the biggest complaint. Tasted cold and dry. I bought a side of their hot sauce which I wasn't the biggest fan of but helped the burrito. This place had a line out the door so I'm sure I'm the minority and I'll still be back to try their bagels!

The bakery and sales area take uo the entire ground floor of an unassuming house in a residential neighborhood. Clean, light and airy atmosphere with plenty of room to work. The metal shelves were superbly organized and packed full of bagels. Easy to get to by bus from downtown. Charming and cheerful staff. I went on a Saturday morning around 1030 and there was only a small line, which moved very quickly. This is not a cafe - you are here to buy bagels and the fixings. Okay, they also sell coffee and tea, muffins, and a yummy chocolate chip cookie. (Had to try one if I'm coming all the way from downtown!) Bagels were baked perfectly. Each one looks as if it was made individually- the level of detail of the flavors, rhe color, the texture. Nice chewy crust with a light interior. They toast up beautifully (at home - no slicing or roasting at the bakery). This is a bagel that says "hey, have another one" rather than the kind which lay in your stomach. I didn't try the spreads, but have absolute confidence that they would be marvelous. Worth every second of the 30-minute bus ride. Heck. Go out of your way to come here!

My particular bagel was a little on the drier side, but even then, it is still a very strong contender for Seattle standards. On my most recent visit, I also tried the black sesame bagel with butter. It was good, but there was a bit more butter than I would have preferred, and the standard toast wasn't quite crispy enough for my liking. That's an easy fix though, and I'll just ask for it toasted a bit longer and less butter next time. I really love the location of this spot and am hoping to check out their other location soon. They share a great outdoor seating area with Sea Wolf Bakers and also have a small amount of indoor seating. There's usually a line on weekday mornings and a longer one on weekends, but it moves surprisingly quickly, so the wait has never felt unreasonable. One thing I especially appreciate is how light these bagels are compared to some other Seattle bagel shops. They have a great chew without feeling overly dense. Service has always been friendly and efficient. I still haven't tried any of their fish sandwiches, but that's next on my list. Until then, I'm perfectly happy sticking with a classic sesame bagel and cream cheese.

Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside.
