We choose the king premium 38$ Overall food is amazing. I like the amerikan wahyu brisket, brazilian. Service is pretty slow, but friendly. Place is huge and clean. At last we get ice cream

This review is mainly for the service, which was extremely slow. There were only five servers for the entire restaurant on a Saturday, and it definitely showed. Our table was missing a set of chopsticks, and although I asked the hostess for them, she never brought them. It also took 15-20 minutes just to get a beer. I asked for napkins as well, had to ask a second time, and finally received them about 45 minutes after I first requested them. Because of the poor service, I would not come back to this place. I will say that the restaurant itself was clean.

This is my absolute favorite Korean barbecue place to go out to here in Palm Desert. We love everyone there. They're always super nice food comes out quick unless it's really busy then it takes a little bit, but other than that the quality of the meat is really good whatever you order does not disappoint. I love the fact that they have a bunch of little sides. You can get make your own sauce as well. They always have amazing music playing in the background and at the end of all you can eat barbecue or hot pot if you choose that you get some ice cream to end an amazing time. Thanks guys for always being amazing.

Best Kbbq and Hotpot in the desert. Probably the only as well. All the tables have been upgraded to be kbbq and hotpot. Makes it when you're not using the hotpot since it's a flat surface on the table. Very nice setting less smokey with all the vents having an extended vaccum part. Has its own build your sauce bar, grab your own sides, serve you own rice, and even refill your drink as you wish with their serve yourself area.

Delicious food and quick service. I enjoyed the hot pot and bbq combo choice for my cousin's birthday. The food came out quickly and our server was very attentive! You also get to enjoy a scoop of ice cream at the end, which was delicious! The meats were sufficient with the lowest tier option, since there were lots of variety of cuts as well as vegetables on the side. The interior was comfortable but it was difficult cooking sometimes with the table shapes. Still overall an amazing deal and delicious!

Blazing King has some decent Korean barbecue with some hot pot but I do think this service could better the waiters there never change the barbecue stove topper and they never refilled the water jar other than that the food itself is what you would expect at a basic barbecue establishment 5 out of 10.

I've enjoyed coming here in the past, but my last visit was far from pleasant. I came with my sisters and nephew, and we ordered both the BBQ and hot pot. Unfortunately, all the designated tables for hot pot and BBQ were taken, so they set up a portable stove on our table. While I appreciate the effort, the setup was cramped and inconvenient, especially for the additional $5 charge--it just didn't feel worth it. What really stood out, though, was the poor service. Our server neglected us the entire time, and it was by far the worst service we've ever experienced here. I hope this was just an off day for the restaurant, but it's hard to justify returning anytime soon after this experience.

Ordered the stir fried squid which was really delicious. Great flavor, we loveeee squid. The tofu soup was really good too. Love that they give an egg to crack on top - that set it apart and took it up a level. The kimchi pancake was decent too, but not as crispy as I usually like it. Side dishes hit the spot! Especially the fish cake. When we ran out, they quickly brought more. Highly recommend Maru. Amazing service and great atmosphere. The best kbbq in the desert!

LOCATION: Very nice retail location with lots of parking options. FACILITY: Excellent buildout, functional for the grill set up but not huge. MENU: Not totally easy to understand so we tried to ask questions but ended up a bit frustrated and just went for combo thinking we'd find what we liked. FOOD PREP: Raw plate was very professional and easy on the eyes. FOOD QUALITY: For the few things we liked it was good, not amazing but since we cooked ourselves maybe we screwed it up. Came to find out you can have their cooks grill for you and serve your table. As I lived in Asia I have visited many similar grills I am a rookie but never had these issues. WAITSTAFF: Not very helpful and maybe a bit on the rude side. We asked questions and got answers that made no sense. I wish I could have asked the robot. I did have to use my phone to understand what some of the offering were. OVERALL VALUE: Not good, very expensive and a disappointing experience for our visit. TIP: Maybe study the menu online before arriving, there is a lot of food. Our leftovers we had to cook at our table before we left as they can't send you home with raw meat I get tht. While it said $107 F1 combo would serve 1-2 people, in my world it could have easily served 4.

My two go-to appetizers are the spring rolls and the fried tofu. The spring rolls have a lot of lettuce in them, which I like. They are cut up into smaller pieces than a Vietnamese place might do. It comes with a peanut sauce. The fried tofu has a dipping sauce, but I tend to supplement with the little caddy of sauces on the table. I've gotten noodles and tofu dishes at this location.
