I wanted to try this place for a while and now I'm here. I walked in and was seated directly at the bar. I ordered an espresso martini, the truffle lobster Mac and cheese, and the filet mignon. The martini was good, you can never go wrong with an espresso martini. The Mac and cheese was just okay, nothing crazy. The filet mignon was good. It was cooked to a perfect mid rare and I liked how they plated the seasonings on the side. This restaurant is very nicely decorated. It's a nice spot to go for casual drinks or even special date type occasion. Finding parking in this area can be challenge tho. Try it out if you like. :)

Came for the octopus and it was delicious. Also ordered the oysters, lamb chops, brussel sprouts apps. Those were ok. Enjoyed the mezcal cocktail. The chocolate cake was indulgent if you like chocolate and hazelnut. Staff friendly and attentive. Inside is modern cozy with two tables outside.

So I came here on a Memorial Day night. I've been here a few times before but tonight was very loud, almost as if it was a club atmosphere. Besides that the people here are friendly and my waiter was super nice and attentive to us and always came to our table with a huge smile (thank you to you). I had the rib eye steak and as usual it was a nice tasty steak with enough fat on it to make it juicer and hearty. I had it med. Rare so it was super juicy and tender. I love this place for its hospitality and the atmosphere of the place. Make sure to get to your reservation early to find parking. It can be a challenge looking for parking.

The Blind Butcher.. Man, this place is a must when visiting San Francisco. Parking can be a little intimidating, but it's worth driving around until you find a spot. The restaurant ambiance is nice -- reddish tones with the lights dimmed a bit, giving it a really good vibe. It gets very busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation to secure a seat. As for the food... the 16oz prime ribeye steak was $76 and worth every penny. Huge portion and definitely shareable. The drinks were excellent, the service was on point, and overall the experience was solid all around. Definitely a spot I'd come back to

Our server was very nice and attentive! Gave great recommendations. Inside was dim and cozy. Creamy mushrooms: 10/10 Mashed potatoes: it was good. Very creamy like too blended. Wagyu beef burger was alright. I should've read that it was on a ciabatta bun which I don't like especially for a burger. It was quite dry. Because it was just a shmear of the aioli. The burger itself didn't really have flavor. But the fries were good! I asked them with no truffle tho. Not a fan of truffle. Bummer bc I wanted to the Lobster mac and cheese but has truffle. Prime Ribeye steak was very tasty! Do people normally eat rings of onion and a tomato like that with steak? And the weeeee 3 pieces of potato lol good thing we ordered the mashed potato. We thought it was too much potatoes but apparently just the right amount hahaha.

This place was so good! The lobster Mac and cheese was so good and so was the calamari (not pictured). Everything else was very good and our waiter, Brasen made our experience. He was very attentive and gave recommendations when asked, but was so passionate about it! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back because of him and the delicious food!

I finally checked out Blind Butcher after seeing it all over TikTok and hearing so many good things. The ambiance is nice, dim lighting, cozy, and perfect for a night out. I ordered the 16 oz prime ribeye which was cooked well with a nice sear and good seasoning. It was tender and flavorful, and overall a solid steak. I also tried the lobster truffle mac and cheese which was good but didn't stand out as much as I expected. The Caesar salad was actually really great fresh, well-balanced and one of my favorite parts of the meal. The highlight for me was the Butcher's Old Fashioned super well-balanced and easily my favorite thing I had. Service was alright friendly and smooth overall just not especially standout. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. While it didn't completely exceed expectations it's still a beautiful spot with good food and drinks and definitely worth trying for a nice, low-lit date night vibe.

I've walked by this place for years and finally recently dined here. From the low quality food to poor service, my overall experience was a complete disappointment! For two people, we ordered the grilled prosciutto burrata, 16oz prime ribeye steak, and brussels sprouts. The grilled prosciutto burrata was disgusting, and we struggled to finish it. The prosciutto tasted like a drier and worse version of a piece of overcooked bacon. The burrata was low quality - dry and lacked flavor. The dish was drenched in dressings that didn't complement the ingredients. The ribeye was cooked alright but lacked flavor (and this is coming from someone who prefers less salty foods). For a restaurant that's supposedly known for steak, I was disappointed because I could've made a better steak myself. The cut of steak was low quality too, and some parts were difficult to chew. I would've expected a more tender piece of steak. The bathroom was a bit of a disaster too. The toilet seat wasn't even nailed into the toilet! I almost fell off while using it. Service was inattentive and bizarre. At the end of the meal, the server asked if we wanted another round of drinks even after we had already kindly asked for the bill twice. After the meal, we both agreed that this place isn't ever worth coming back to.

This place is quaint but so cute! The atmosphere is chill and everyone is so sweet! We started with bottomless mimosas which are served in a wine glass to the top, it was a very generous poor! My hubs had a classic breakfast and I had the ribeye Benedict. Everything was so delicious and really fresh! My ribeye was cooked perfectly and oh so tender. We're adding this to our usual SF spots because there was so much we wanted to try.

Braised short ribs and rib eye steak.

Food was immaculate, drinks were spectacular. Service was amazing, very cool ambiance. We took our 8 years and he loved it as well.

Came with a group of 4 for a friendsmas celebration and had the best time. The inside is dark and vibey and the drinks are delicious. We started with a spicy margarita and a dirty martini, wow STRONG but yummy and had truffle fries to snack on while waiting for the rest of our party. Once we sat down the service was quick. We ordered the short ribs, stroganoff, burger, pasta and burrata. Everything was delicious! The server was so sweet putting up with our crazy table. Definitely check it out if you're in the Castro.

I called a couple of hours beforehand and made a same day reservation for three at 8 p.m. I was amazed they could get us in. The guy who answered the phone was so nice. We arrived right at 8 and were seated on the back patio. Our server took a little while to greet us, but by about 8:15 she showed up and we immediately ordered our salad and entrees. The heirloom tomato salad came out around 8:30 and was great in concept, though a few more pieces of cheese would have made a big difference. Our entrees, two salmon dishes and a medium-rare steak, came out around 9 p.m. We had waited a little too long, especially since the restaurant was not very full at that point. My steak was overdone, so as politely as possible, I sent it back. The server said it wouldn't take long, so I assumed 15 minutes at most. By 9:20, the steak still had not arrived and my family had finished eating. The server came by and said it would be out in another couple of minutes. Another 10 minutes passed, and there was still no steak and no sign of the server. At 9:30, I was so frustrated that I got up to cancel it. I found the server standing near the kitchen talking with other servers, while my steak was just sitting there in the service window. I'm sorry, but I did not come to a restaurant at 8 p.m. to eat my entree at 9:30 or later, after everyone else had already finished. What made it worse was that the server was not apologetic at all. We also ran out of water multiple times throughout the evening. Overall, it felt like the staff, other than the host, just didn't care. Neither the kitchen nor the server. I don't know if it's the no-tip model, but it definitely felt like an authentic European zero-customer-service type of experience. I'm really disappointed, Zazie. I know you can do better.

The stars of the show were definitely the wine and the garlic noodles. I wouldn't recommend sharing the Wagyu dog as it got a bit messy. Everything was definitely overpriced, and portions were small.
