The woman I had dealt with (forgive me for not remembering) helped us pick the right cake for us as well as theme, colors and answered any or all questions patiently. She was definitely very professional and never pushed or tried to up-sell her cakes on us. After trying several other companies, we found hers to be very good. After meeting my friends at the wedding, I had more people ask me about the delicious cake than how beautiful our wedding was...which was also very beautiful as well. Great place and I'd like to experience their cake again, but I'm expecting a long and healthy marriage with my wife. Prices are moderate to pricy, but it really depends on what you want and how large you want it. I had never heard of the bakery and its bland name, but immediately noticed its Zagat food quality rating of 28 posted in the window. At that point, I knew that I had to forgo any pledge of healthy eating to indulge with a pastry. I entered the store and drooled over mini tarts, massive cookies, and other decadent goodies. I greeted the man behind the counter and inquired about the history of the shop. Apparently, it had been around for a few years and was the highest-ranked bakery in the city, according to Zagat. After a lengthy internal debate, I decided to order an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, assuming that it might be healthier than some of the more elaborate treats. However, the doughy disk was gigantic. The addicting, homemade flavor tasted like raw dough packed with cinnamon raisin seasoning. I was completely entranced by the tender doughiness and proceeded to devour the entire cookie within 5 minutes. I even went back for a second visit a month or so later, at which point I sampled the large Chocolate Chip Cookie that was stuffed with chunks of dark chocolate. The treat also possessed that same raw dough flavor. I had to muster up my restraint to limit myself to only a few bites, so that I could deliver the rest of the calories to my brother. Dessert Delivery was the true hidden gem of my dreams. Their affordable and tasty delicacies really define the word "treat". Thankfully, I am rarely in Dessert Delivery's neighborhood or it would be my second home!
