I had never seen a place specializing in stroopwafels before so I was so surprised when I walked by while checking out Grand Central terminal! My boyfriend and I ordered one to share; we got a small freshly baked stroopwafel with freeze-dried strawberries. The stroopwafel display was so beautiful and the packaging is very cute as well, I was a big fan! The stroopwafel itself was a bit too sweet for my liking, but that's to be expected. My boyfriend really liked it! I definitely recommend it for anyone with a sweet tooth looking to try something new. It is quite pricey though for a single stroopwafel. They also sell other things like drinks and pastries if you're looking to try something else.

A great spot to pick up stroopwafels with multiple toppings for your cravings or gifts for friends. The sweets are cute and super good with cute packaging!

I had the Reese's stroopwafel at Bryant Park's Winter Market and was very pleased with my choice! I love sweets and anything with peanut butter and chocolate so naturally it was a perfect match. It was sweet, fresh and a little messy but that's okay. I would buy another favor if I had the opportunity again.

Great spot in grand central terminal. Grabbed a rose latte and the whole counter smelled like fresh stroopwafel. The staff was very nice and worked fast and knew all the sales and deals. Fresh coffee.

Dining Concourse at Grand Central Terminal 89 E. 42nd St. New York, NY 10017 Wonderen Stroopwafels Stroopwafel To-Go Box This package deal included three stroopwafels of your choice. On a positive note, the Dutch cookies were neatly packed in a fancy looking box and there was a wide variety of toppings that enhanced the flavor. After the purchase, I realize I've been had. Minus the toppings, these looked and tasted identical to the packaged items I could have easily purchased from any retail store.

I really enjoyed these stroopwafels, so glad they're in nyc now. These were very addicting when I was visiting Amsterdam. The staff were super friendly, service was quick, and the stroopwafels were tasty. My personal favorites were the reese's pieces and mint chocolate toppings. They also have their limited-edition Halloween stroopwafels which is a ghost and pumpkin. I chose the ghost stroopwafel and it was freshly made. It's the perfect Halloween treat. The packaging is also cute. This place is definitely a must visit for these sweet and delicious Dutch stroopwafels.

I find them very pricey. If you are getting the fresh one, menu says $8.50 for a small one. The location in Grand Central said they do not have the fresh one... and they are selling per box of 3 or 6. We got choco mint, choco coconut and lotus biscoff. They were all good. I was expecting them to be a little crisp on the outside but they were on the softer side. Maybe bec they were not as fresh as when it first comes out from the oven. If the price were more reasonable, I would have given them 5 stars.

Wonderden Stroopwafels - Grand Central Station What a disappointment. We waited 7 minutes just to order because the cashier was busy making an iced coffee. Then, nearly 40 minutes for our stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches. We ordered three: * One came out rock hard * One was soggy * One was undercooked and bitter At $14.50 each, I expected at least decent quality. Instead, the "ice cream" came straight out of a Costco tub--nothing house-made. It melted instantly, creating a messy, soupy disaster before we could even start eating. The taste was awful--so bad no one could finish theirs, and it left us feeling queasy. They might have been featured on TikTok, but I have no idea why. This place feels like a pure tourist trap: overpriced, poor quality, and not worth the time or money.

A remarkable simulation of authentic stroopwafel in the city! Conveniently located in Grand Central location, you can choose between premade stroopwafel or freshly made with toppings for an additional charge. Servers could not have been more patient and I ended up going for a small biscoff laden stroopwafel. It was treacly sweet, crisp, with biscoffs crumbs throughout. Just needed a nice cup of tea to round it out. If I had any complaints, the wafel itself was not as fresh as the ones in Amsterdam. But, if you don't wanna pay $2000 in roundtrip fare, give Wonderen a try!

Good service, clean, quick, oat chai taste good nice and warm. The area was colorful and inviting. I had to use restraint because there's a few things I want to try in the display. I would literally add another workout just to try some of these treats. You really can't pick only one. That's why I got a drink so next time i'll buy a few things to share with family and friends. Location is right off the escalator near track 37 located on bottom level of food court area

Grabbed some at a holiday market, and holy wow these were delicious! Never had a stroopwafel before and I don't know why I haven't had this in my life sooner. The Oreo, biscoff, and m&m ones were so delicious, chewy, flavorful, and absolutely amazing! A great treat!

Staff here is always friendly and quick. The coffee takes slightly longer to make, but it's fresh! There are some premade stroopwafels to select from and lots of custom options for you to make your own. This is only a counter which makes for quick ordering and turnaround. I love that it looks like a Wes Anderson set. The bold color choices and curved cutouts with the mat colors really help to highlight the products. For your birthday that actually send you a coupon for 1 free large Stroopwafel! This time I stopped in for the "Dubai chocolate". While this was tasty between the crunchy center with pistachio cream, I don't think I'd pay $15 for this again. The Stroopwafel is really what you should come here for. The warm waffle aroma with pressed caramel draws you in. I can't wait to return for my next Stroopwafel!

Short review but perfectly okay but pricey stoopwafel here. I mean it's Grand Central Terminal so everything is overpriced but I'm curious what the prices would be if it was outside of here (presumably $1 or $2 less for some things but who knows.) Taste was fine. I got the toasted coconut which was nice and it was good and warm but it didn't melt like the best stroopwafels I've had. 3 is built for as spot like this and it's nice to have a different type of snack in Grand Central.

And this wasn't that either, but I now need to find a place for this near me. It was more like regular ice cream at a soft-serve consistency, topped with all the things-- that part was as expected. Hubs & I were thinking of getting two different things but we both wanted the mango madness, and then the checkout person said it was the size of a quart container. So just one then. I wish we got to see it being made up but it was full in there (at 10p, after the theaters let out), and they seated us and gave us a buzzer that went off almost immediately. We almost didn't finish it even between the two of us. Absolutely delicious, just overwhelmingly enormous. It could be a low-grade food challenge to complete it! And with all that fruit, actual mango chunks and a banana, it's practically a healthy snack. Gotta find one of these closer to home!

I was at this quaint tea shop east of Koreatown earlier in the evening before going to a meal at the excellent new Thai place, Wanglang. The staff was very friendly, and they specialize in matcha, along with having hojicha, genmaicha, black tea, and sencha. Along with more traditional drinks, they also have fruit options as well as black sugar jelly (I presume kuromitsu) and a Japanese citrus that's not seen much here, hyuganatsu. Along with the citrus, this place is rather unique as they had three different matcha options in terms of variety. As I tend to prefer teas pure and without add-ons, I ordered the Matcha Americano, which is simply matcha and water. I went with the 12-oz version for $6 + tax and ordered the Hajime, though I would likely get the Fuku No Midori next time based on descriptions online. The matcha was solid and had a mild sweetness and a light earthiness. However, it lacked some of the mouth coating found in very high-quality drinks from Sorate or Setsugekka, while being similar in price. Still, that is comparing to some of the best, and this was still very tasty and a lot better than 90% of the places in the city, being more comparable to Kettl. I wouldn't mind going back and ordering the other matcha varietal to see whether that is a better comparison. Outside of this, I enjoyed my drink, and the staff was friendly. I hope they do well.

The space is extremely compact, functioning more like a takeout counter than a café, with only minimal room inside. The main focus here is matcha, with a distinctive approach that lets you choose between three blends: Hinata, which leans creamy and nutty; Hajime, which is more smoky and earthy; and a more traditional-style matcha profile. Drinks like the mango matcha show how they play with these bases, though fruit purées can sometimes overshadow the matcha depending on the combination. They also offer matcha powder for home use and occasional fresh pastries that add a warm, baked aroma to the space. Service is one of the strongest parts of the experience. The staff is consistently warm, attentive, and willing to explain the differences between blends in detail. The atmosphere is cozy but extremely tight, built for short visits rather than lingering. It is not a workspace or hangout café, but more of a quick stop that stands out because of its hospitality and focus on craft. Even in a busy area, it leaves a memorable impression through its matcha quality and genuinely personable service.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
