I came here after having a bad experience with another dentist (who quoted me around $2k in filling 6+ cavities, wisdom tooth extractions, etc) - After getting a deep cleaning and a visit with Dr. Kelsey, he confirmed I had no cavities! I walked into the office for an emergency appointment. The Dr and both secretaries were not wearing masks. There was a construction worker in the office he was wearing a mask. I cancelled my appointment and left. Given the COVID 19 crisis, it did not seem like a safe environment. I work at Eisenhower hospital and everyone wears a mask and gloves. I did not receive treatment as I felt that if they were so lax in the office that perhaps the treatment would be too risky for exposure to the virus. read more

My husband and I went in for a scheduled consultation to sit with the dentist about a few separate items that we needed prior to having actual appointments to start using his services. We were very clear about our expectations when we made the appointment as well as when we walked in. They sat us in an exam room and the dentist without asking what our goal was.. asked us to get up and leave. I cannot believe a professional would do that . I've experienced almost everything here and I tell anyone reading this that their is no better dental office in the coachella valley. I inherited bad dental health. I am 74 years old and I have been treated by numerous dentists over the last 50 years. So I have had lots of experiences with dental work. I am so happy that I discovered Dr. Kelsey at Bliss Dentistry. By far, Dr. Kelsey has given me the most complete and effective treatment I have ever received. Without his treatment I would be in lots of pain and not still have all my teeth! I just wish I could give him more than 5 stars! He has no equal! Dr. Kelsey is always happy to see you and he takes the time to let you know that you are his greatest concern. He incorporates the latest dental technology and procedures and his office has all the latest equipment. Dr. Kelsey always gives you advice on what you really may need immediately and what can be delayed. He never tries to upsell you for some work that is not immediately needed. All his staff is also superb and extremely skilled. The staff do not turnover like in many dental offices. Each of the staff has been there for years. When you walk into his practice you are always genuinely greeted and treated like family. They do not treat you as just another patient. You do not lose time sitting and waiting. You are seen right away at your appointment time. Stephanie is just wonderful and pleasant as the receptionist. Sharon truly excels at performing cleanings and doing periodontal work. Suzy assists Dr. Kelsey chairside and she too is extremely knowledgeable, competent, and caring. I feel like I am walking on air each time when I walk out of his office. I gave two and not one star because I don't have x-ray proof and was never shown the x-rays. I went for a cleaning and was told I had four cavities, but wasn't in any pain or hadn't been in any pain prior to the appointment. Then I was told I needed some serious expensive work, but when they found out I didn't have quite enough money, they stated they could do some "cheaper alternatives" and of course they did because it's money in their pocket. I accepted the work and about two months later I did actually have a toothache; in fact it became infected and abscessed. He fixed two cavities, but did not foresee this serious cavity and potential infection??? I don't trust dentists and I will not go to one unless I am in pain. They are like mechanics who try to exaggerate car problems or state false diagnoses because they are fraudulent and greedy and probably trying to pay pack those expensive school loans. read more
