Slice of heaven - chocolate cake
    Rhea R.

No regrets trying this new place close to my house! I ordered the Bangsilog (fish, egg, and fried rice) -- YUMM! The vinegar added perfection to the mix, bringing all the flavors together. The pastries are on point, especially the chocolate cake -- rich, moist, and not too sweet. Definitely will order again!

    So good! Highly recommended!

Excellent crispy pata! The meat was perfect and juicy. It just falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. The skin is so flavorful and crispy. It's one of the best I've ever had! Try their chocolate cake too! It's so moist and dense. Perfect dessert!

Chocolate cake, lechon belly, chicharon bulaklak.

I ordered the Black Pastrami Reuben, and this was really yummy! The pastrami itself was juicy, tender, and loaded onto the sandwich along with sauerkraut. It was delicious on its own, but I asked for Thousand Island dressing on the side so I could dip the sandwich into it and that combination was heaven. The tangy, creamy dressing with the rich pastrami took it to another level! You can also get the classic hot pastrami if that's more your style. The Club Sandwich was also really good. This is more of a classic, straightforward deli sandwich and it's hard to go wrong with it when you're craving something familiar. But the biggest surprise for me was actually the cabbage coup. I wasn't expecting much, but wow. It's a sweet comforting soup made with meat and cabbages, and I found myself absolutely loving it. I have no idea how much sugar goes into that broth, but there's something about the sweet flavor that just works. You can order a small bowl, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try if you're curious. I also asked for bagel chips and pickles which were really fun to snack on. The salmon bagel and whitefish bagel were perfectly fine, but neither was particularly memorable compared with the pastrami or soup. I think this place is worth a visit if you're in Northridge and craving a classic deli meal. I'm definitely excited to go back and try out some other things on the menu.

My sandwich was very well portioned and absolutely delicious, some of the best pastrami I've ever had! Fries were good, Cole slaw was good, and the whole experience was great. However, they do take walk-ins). Since we had some time to kill, we decided to grab a bite nearby, and we're so glad we did because we stumbled upon this gem!! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and from the moment we walked in, everyone welcomed us like we were regulars. It was such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Zoe took amazing care of us and was an absolute joy throughout our visit. Thank you Zoe!! We started with the Dr. Feel Good wellness shot, which Zoe actually made fresh herself. I really appreciated that it was housemade instead of coming from a prepackaged bottle--it felt fresh and intentional. And DID THE JOB! For food, we ordered the Humble Bee Animal Style and the Farm Boy with turkey sausage. Everything was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. And those pancakes... I'm still thinking about them! This is definitely a place worth trying. Between the generous portions, welcoming service, fresh quality ingredients, and reasonable prices, it's an easy spot to recommend. We'll absolutely be back!

Friend had ham and egg omelette with potatoes. His omelette looked really good and nicely plated. I saw it having large cubes of ham, with a French folded omelette as he cut into it. This is where I focus on my dish though and I'm a plating nut! The Benedict sauce beautifully draped over the poached eggs. I could have gone with just another 30 seconds on the eggs, as I do like a thicker ooze of yolk, but I'm not complaining. The muffin was tasty and chewy, nicely made. The sausage was perfectly salted and added a nice richness to the entire bite. The salad. This salad was pickled cabbage in beet juice. Shredded carrot, wild lettuce and a side of balsamic dressing. It didn't need the dressing. I drizzled a tiny amount but barely a teaspoon. The entire eggs Benedict with salad is a definite crave-able breakfast dish. The service was very nice.

I would stick with either just Chile mango margarita or Chile pineapple margarita, not both flavors together, you couldn't taste any of the flavor. I was charge extra for chorizo. It was good. The enchiladas were tasty but they added too much sauce and cheese on top. My son loved the rib bye steak tacos. The fire sauce definitely lived up to its name and had my mouth on fire for a minute, but I cooled it off by adding a touch of ranch to each bite. The blue cheese crumbles were the perfect addition, as well. Everyone in our group was happy with their meal, and I really like the casual ordering setup. You order and pay right at the register, which makes it especially convenient when you're meeting a group of friends because there's no worrying about splitting the check at the end. We waited quite a bit and after 30 minutes of not being called, we checked and the same hostess said we weren't on the list and refused us. She claimed to not remember us at all and didn't want to remedy the situation at all. We ended up mustering the courage to ask for a manager. Thankfully the manager sat us at a table and comped an appetizer for us. We gave the restaurant another chance tonight but nearly the same experience happened. We put our name down and even got the text message notification. However, we saw many similarly sized parties go before us even though we arrived first. We waited for 45 minutes before checking with the host. They said they were not able to seat us yet and told us we were third in line. They then continued to call 5 other parties who were not even there. My grandmother who is literally 90 years old had been waiting with us and we didn't want her to wait any longer. We then proceeded to go to Gus's instead and were met with zero wait, superb service from all the staff, and delicious food. We received a text 30 minutes later from Finney's that we were removed from the waitlist - no warning that our table was ready. We will no longer be going to Finney's and don't recommend it to anyone.
