This time I got a large Americano with "a bit of cream and sugar". I tasted it and then asked for one extra packet of sugar. Perfect! Although next time I might also get an extra shot added. This is the approach to take so that you have more control over your beverage, because their regular coffee is already heavily sugared and creamed out. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie and it was decent.

Tasty coffee! I got an idea Vietnamese coffee sweet. Service was friendly and fast and prices were fair. Atmosphere is cute.

Definitely was tricky trying to find where the shop was, but I ultimately parked at the google parking garage then walked over! It's across from the Equinox and we get parking validation! I got the Iced VTM Latte Einspanner and my boyfriend got the VTM Coffee. Definitely changed my perspective on Einspanners and now I love it even more! The price is hefty here but the drink was deliciously made T-T I also got the Ultimate Sausage Bagel and WOW was it worth it. The portion for the price was a lot, but it did fill me up. Service was amazing. The lovely girl took her time while I was stumpped with the options they had. With multiple locations, it's worth trying!

This blk dot coffee shop is located in the middle of Google center. You have to park in the parking structure but they give you validation! Service/Ambiance: It's a cute, clean coffee shop. There's a few small tables but not really ideal for studying. The girl who helped me out was very friendly, and accommodated me when I wanted more sweetness in my matcha einspanner. Drink/Food Consensus: We ordered the VTM einspanner and the uji matcha einspanner. Both drinks were great. The matcha could have been stronger and it needed sugar. I got some vanilla syrup in it and it was good. My boyfriend really loved the vietnamese coffee einspanner. We both really loved the ultimate brekkie bowl. It was very refreshing and the seasoning on the potatoes and tomatoes was perfect. All the elements of the bowl worked well together. It was definitely overpriced at $14 but honestly in Irvine, I'm not that surprised. I would get it again. Overall, we would come back!

Vietnamese ice coffee was good. Would suggest ordering ahead of time if visiting on the weekend. They were very busy on Saturday

I can't really overstate how bummed I was when the Blk Dot on Von Karman closed -it was so much closer and easier to get to from my house!! I really wish they would reopen that location. But luckily, I'm still able to order my VTM from this location. I branched out and tried their Peppermint VTM this time. Chefs kiss. Truly, so delicious and such a fun, seasonal twist on a classic favorite. I haven't visited this location in person but my coffee arrived cold and my BEC was delicious (jalapeño cheese bagel was sooo good).

A chain coffee shop located downstairs from Google's office, the store is quite small and closes at 3:00 PM. It's a suitable spot for friends working nearby to take a break, enjoy a cup of coffee, and chat. The taste of the coffee is average, not much different from other brands, and the price is similar to Starbucks. However, the ambiance and decor are significantly less impressive, making the overall value for money just average.

The BEST Vietnamese ice coffee. Hands down. I literally crave this! This is my second time here and totally worth it! (I mean it's only $6-$7) The shop is clean and reminds of an upscale boba place. Not like a real sit down cafe. But they do have toasts and other coffees on the menu. Definitely worth checking out especially if you like Vietnamese coffee! This location is pretty much in an outdoor mall so there's plenty of things to do while enjoying your drink!

I came to this location on Saturday noon and was it was quiet. The coffee shop was hidddn but next to Hilton hotel where I was attending a conference. The coffee shop was super clean and super cute. I love the outside area. I tried uji matcha and it wasn't bad. I like my matcha little bit more thicker and more matcha powder. Service was good and just enjoy the vibe of the area. Perfect place to relax with delicious drink or catch up with friend

Spanish latte 10/10 I love it !! Really great. Nice employees. Service takes a bit longer if you order food I would say the menu and food items need to be improved I mainly go for coffee but would like to sometimes get a bit I just don't think the price matches the food quality.

This is such a nice hidden gem! It's tucked away next to the Google building, so you can't see it from the main street. You have to park in the Google parking structure and get validated at BLK Dot. They give you an hour for free, but there was a really nice worker here who gave me an additional hour of validation because I stayed past the one hour. I always get a regular size hot LVTM ($5.45), and it is good here. I initially didn't want to come because I feared the whole parking situation, but it's really not bad, and they do give one or more hours of validation! :)

    Ultimate Brekkie Bowl

This location is super close to my workplace so I find myself stopping by pretty frequently in the mornings. I always ordered either the iced or hot thai tea latte depending on what I'm feeling. I usually like the drink, but there have been times where it tasted really watered down. I also like to order the ultimate breakfast bowl. The potatoes in it are stale sometimes, but I still like it overall! Definitely pricier in regards to the portion sizes--i was surprised when I saw their large-sized cup, it's a lot smaller than what I'm used to and the breakfast bowl is almost $14. Inside is kind of small with limited seating. On the other hand, service is tends to be pretty quick and friendly.

Ask the Community - Blk Dot Coffee

Can anyone tell me what's in their house creamer? Is it the non-dairy one with all the chemicals?

Based on your reviews, you sound like a USC student.

Do they have decafs coffee and decaf tea options?

Yes they have decaf and a few tea options.

Do they have outlets and wifi?

    Yes

Anyone know if they are open today (Black Friday)?

    I don't see why they wouldn't be.

Do they have gluten free baked goods?

    Yes

Where else can I park if the parking structure is completely full?

There is no street parking and no proper alternative parking nearby other than the structure.

How long would they validate parking for?

The validation they give is for an hour!

Why is everyone posting a picture of their coffee drink as if some brown liquid in a plastic cup can sell this place?

It's so much more than just their amazing drinks, their service is great and they also have really good iced drinks that might not be posted as much but are so good and refreshing. Their coffees have better concentrate than starbucks or coffee bean,… Read more

They've got a self-ordering kiosk, or you can chat with someone at the register, which is what I did since I wanted some opinions on teas and coffee beans. They've got a pretty good selection of swag including loose leaf teas, various coffee beans, brewing gear, clothing, and other items. And they've got an RTE case too. Plenty of space inside and outside to sit, and the outside seating area has umbrellas, shade, and even a giant Jenga-style game. I asked for some recommendations for tea and was pretty let down. They only had 3 available, and 2 were ones I could find pretty much anywhere else (Earl Grey and...English Breakfast, I think?). I asked for any unique ones and they had a lavender one, which I ended up trying. It was okay, nothing special. Very floral. I also asked for recommendations for beans that are not too acidic and had the Darkside suggested because it's their darkest roast. I'm excited to grind it up and try it!

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.
