Tried their VTM and I gotta say it's pretty strong but the sweetness balances it out. If you're less of a sweet person than go for the LVTM. I finally stopped by today to try this new coffee shop. I convinced my man to go with me because his favorite place is KEAN. We are coffee lovers, and we have tried almost every spot there is in OC. Myself, I drink coffee since I was a child so Coffee is my daily fix. I drink coffee like water so no coffee is too strong for me. I ordered a VN coffee, a jalapeno bagel, and he had a chicken BanhMi and Mocha. Everything was very good. I feel like I need two VN coffees not just one. I think next time I would try a double shots and other sandwiches as well. I am happy to discover this place and now I don't have to driver far for my VN coffee. My man was skeptical at first but after he tried their mocha today. He also wants to come back. BLK Coffee is a great study spot! The interior is designed so cleanly, and the wifi is super fast. I find myself visiting this spot mostly because of the amazing interior and different selections of drinks. I personally have not ever has an AMAZING drink here. I absolutely love coffee and espresso, but I have had such a hard time finding a drink here that is not too overwhelming in flavor. I find that their drinks are overly creamy and/or overly sweetened. I usually try different drinks each time in hopes of finding a drink that I would love because I know that many people in the area absolutely love the drinks here. I have yet to find my drink of choice, but I am still searching! The staff at BLK Coffee is generally really kind and will adjust your drink very willingly to however you wish to have it. My husband and I went to BLK on a Saturday because we were in the neighborhood and found out that there's free parking on the weekends! Score! From reading all the Yelp reviews about this place we knew we had to try the VTM. The lady at the counter noticed that we were new so she asked us if we would like to give the VTM a try, so we did. It was really sweet for our taste and so she recommended the LVTM, which was really yummy! We will be back to try their sandwiches and get the LVTM again! read more

Great coffee and great environment. This coffee shop specializes in Vietnamese coffee which they call the VTM and it is delicious. It is very strong and has a unique taste which I love. The coffee shop itself has a very modern feel and its customers are a mixture of college students, business people, doctors, and technicians. I find this to be a very positive place to put myself, especially when I need to get work done. The staff always makes sure you have enough time for your parking validation which is so nice. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend but I do warn that the VTM may be a bit overwhelming to those used to weaker starbucks coffees. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in Irvine! Lots of parking available due to it being it a larger mall, although the mall can get pretty busy. I recommend going here in smaller groups for a nice chat with a friend or to study. Staff members are genuine and customer service is excellent! I got the BLK mojito. To me, there was a slight bitter taste, the drink was sweet, and the mint mojito wasn't that strong. I'm usually a fast drinker, but it took me awhile to finish the drink. Probably because it was pretty sweet and heavy caffeine. But I would say that the drink was above average and well worth the money. This place is a good study spot on the weekend since there isn't too many people. Music isn't blasting and the noise level in general is pretty good for a coffee shop. It's small and few chairs/tables but it's clean. AC is pretty strong. It's right next to Google, so to use the bathroom, you have to go next door to use it. Overall, I really liked it. Absolutely LOVE this spot! It's small and quaint, located across from Equinox Newport. The staff is always super friendly and smiley, they really do take pride in their work and take good care of their customers. I'm addicted to their plain cold brew. I'm allergic to dairy and I don't really care for sweet drinks, but BOY is their VTM Coffee the best darn thing ever!! Such a perfect blend of light and dark...if that makes sense. I have been on the hunt for a new coffee spot. Although Starbucks is ok, their espresso is just not cutting it anymore, and they don't offer almond milk. I yelped some local spots to try and came across BLK. I have now tried them out for the week, and can honestly say I really like them. They offer a great variety of drinks, including your basics (latte, mocha, etc.), and some blended drinks. They also have almond milk and sugar free syrups, which is great for everyone trying to watch their weight (which is pretty much everyone) The only reason I docked a star was because of their location. While this may not be entirely their fault, when you a rate a business, you rate the entire experience, which includes parking. BLK is located in more of a business area, which means they have a large structure you park in. In order to park here you have to get a ticket, and then ask BLK for validation. Sometimes the structure gets a bit full with the gym being close as well as all the corporate offices. I pick up coffee on the way to work, and like to be in and out, so when the parking experience takes a while it can be a deterrent. It was light and refreshing, but too sweet for me - I usually go for iced almond milk lattes. The mint flavor was very pronounced, but next time I'll try it without sweetener. The downside is that it closes around 5pm, usually before I get off work :( It's a great study place, and there's a parking garage nearby that you can get a validation ticket for from BLK. Definitely something I would get again if I need a wake-up call. Excellent Vietnamese iced coffee! They give out free samples of the VTM, which I highly encourage anyone to try out, because the sugar levels are sky-high. I found the LVTM (their light version) more drinkable and delicious, though still very heavy on the sugar. I loved everything about BLK Coffee! The coffee shop will definitely get more visits from me. Let's start with the atmosphere. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. It was modern yet comfortable. My sister always brings me the VTM coffee when she comes home to San Diego and I finally got to check this place out myself today. There's ample parking in the structure but make sure to get your ticket validated. The place is modern and simple looking and the VTM coffee is amazing. Haven't tried the other coffee but this drink will keep me coming when ever I'm in town. One of the workers found out it was my cousins birthday after we already paid for our drinks and let us know that she would have gotten a free drink if we told them. Hidden gem behind the Google building. At first I thought I made a mistake with the address. But, this place does exists. Park in front of the google building then walk in between the buildings. I ordered the cappuccino ($4) with caramel syrup ($0.50), everything bagel ($1.75) with cream cheese chives ($0.90), and the avocado boat ($6.50) which had tuna, corn, alfalpha sprouts, bacon bits (I took out), and spicy mayo. Everything was very yummy and the avocado boat was surprisingly satisfying. The staff was helpful and kind. They offered us samples of their house Vietnamese coffee. I recommend that.
