    Yuzu Mango Matcha Latte
    Ashley V.

Tried the yuzu mango matcha with sweet vanilla cold foam, and it actually exceeded my expectations. I'm a big matcha girly, so I'm surprised how well this mix blended together. It was the perfect amount of sweetness too and balance between the yuzu and matcha. You could taste enough of the matcha in the drink, but not as strong as your typical Airoma or Taty's matcha. I like how they were open early enough for me to grab a matcha before work. Service-wise, I can't say much because I ordered through their self-service tablet. They did make the drink fairly quick though considering there were at least 2 groups ahead of me. Parking was also conveniently available on the side of the shop, which made it an easy grab and go.

Came here on a Thursday afternoon. Very chill vibes. Not many people. Ordered light Vietnamese coffee decaf and a matcha latte. Matcha latte was ok, nothing stood out. The light Vietnamese coffee though is so good. Haven't felt the coffee hit yet but taste wise it's really good.

Blk Dot Coffee - this spot was everything ! I'm obsessed with the city, the town, and the views, and if I lived here, this would easily be one of my go-to spots. While I was in town, I actually stopped by twice I grabbed a regular iced coffee in the morning to fuel up, then came back later to try their Vietnamese coffee before heading home. This is the kind of place where it truly feels like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service was beyond friendly and super helpful with recommendations and what's most popular. The vibe is really cute, and while the seating area is semi-small, there's still room to sit and enjoy your drink. I ordered the BLK VTM and the Spanish latte with oat milk iced - both were bomb. Highly recommend and definitely a must-stop if you're in the area!

I want to update my review. This place is still amazing. I wanted to give recognition to Robert. He helped me at the register. He such an amazing soul and got to know him more when the establishment was not too busy. This place is still always booming with customers, and I'm happy to be one of them. It's been a while since I've been since work gets busy but it's always a treat to dome here. Mi love how everytime I come, the place smells amazing with drinks and food stirring in the air and the place is always clean and organized. I'm needing to come back and buy more of their merch. It's cute and fashionable for those who love their caffeine. Thank you Robert for serving me and all that you do! You are wonderful!

I like the environment here, its a cute cozy cafe. Staff was nice and quick. Great caffeine stop before disney, i was exhausted but my drink woke me up! I got some sort of cold brew w a sea salt foam top and it was great. Highly recommend for a quick caffeine stop!

Walked in for a quick bite with some friends after a long over night shift. We were tired and barely alive. Every single staff member was so full of life! Immediate mood booster for sure. I opted for the avocado toast and an iced Spanish latte. The coffee was made so damn fast. It was a perfect latte. The toast was absolutely packed with avocado and tomatoes. There was ample seating for our group of 5 and there were still plenty of seats open. It was a quickly spent $18 but I mean, I didn't know where I was at that point and it was delicious. Sold me.

It was my first time at Blk Dot Coffee with a friend today. It has such a chill vibe and the drinks were really tasty. I really enjoyed my Lychee Peach Black Tea and they loaded it up with lychee jelly! The staff were really friendly and there were some comfy seats. I'd love to see a couple chairs outside too!

First time visitor. Loved the spot. I am a big lover of Matcha and wanted something different. Ordered the chocolate, strawberry milk. It was beyond tasty. Must try drink.

What an adorable coffee spot. When the area is full of different spots to get your caffeine fix. I opted for the sea salt jasmine tea. It had orange creamsicle vibes the more I drank it. And I'm addicted to salt cream foam. The salt was definitely front forward in the beginning of this drink. Cool vibes inside this store too and friendly service. Good vibes and highly recommended! We tried the pork belly and the cubano sandwiches. They were excellent in every way. The cubano was true to spec. Tender ham, mustard pickles on a beautiful roll. Simply delicious. The Pork Belly was spectacular. The pork was tender and flavorful and the cucumbers, cilantro, onions and jalapeños made it a flavor delight. All on a delicious roll. Just writing this makes me want another one! However, there's one thing you do not want to miss. Their newest addition is Salt Bread. These are sold 4 to a package and and are like the yummiest croissant you've ever tasted. I was sitting waiting for my order to be completed when the owner cam out with a bit of one on a fork. I was hooked. They're already baked, but the instructions are to put them in an air fryer (we used a small convection toaster oven) for 2-4 minutes at 350. I also like them split and toasted. They're fantastic! You'll want to put The Sandwich Society on your restaurant list! (And you'll want Salt Bread in your pantry too!).

You can order and pay for your sandwiches on the kiosk. The worker was kind enough to give us a sample of their cheese bread. We ordered the Hot Pastrami Melt and the Bulgogi Cheesesteak sandwiches. The toasted buns on the pastrami melt gave a great texture and helped it from getting soggy. In contrast, the bulgogi sandwich was very wet and the bread felt more like a sponge at the end of my meal. The flavors were great but the sandwich itself was messy to eat. The service is great and they even gave us a cookie for each sandwich for free! It's a great place for a casual lunch. I'd definitely come back to try the other sandwiches.

The Food Burger - 5* I ordered the Hermanator & Sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious burger, definitely top 3 best I've had. This was not too spicy, but it had great flavor and was cooked fresh. Fries - 5* The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside soft inside. Not too oily and the sweet potato flavor came through each bite. Onion Rings - 3* The onion rings were also great, but it was a bit too thick in the breading. Would've been nice to be thinner in the breading. Still good though. I mixed a bit of ketchup with Siriacha. Kicked the fries up a notch. Great for the burger too. The Cookie - 4* The cookie is soft and doesnt crumble. The chocolate could've been spread through the dough a bit more, but it was good and its now gone so it passed the cookie test! The Service Service was good and the food is made fast. The staff was very friendly, engaged in small talk, and made suggestions for new customers like myself.

Not thick at all and one piece in the entire burger. Like another review said they had to go searching for it. My picture shown is after I pulled it out half way into the burger. Price was steep at $19.95 for a double burger. (NO fries and NO drink, just the burger. No offense but I believe you should be blown away by the burger at this price, and I just wasn't. I didn't even finish the burger because the chewiness threw me off.

The firehouse decor and overall branding of Firehouse sets apart from so many other Quick Service restaurants that are redesigning to be more "professional" (I prefer the term "sterile"). Out of all the restaurants in this shopping center that I have patronized in my 23 years as a local, Firehouse Subs is my new favorite on account of great service, a charming ambiance, and an AMAZING product!

We got two hook and ladder subs, which is Firehouses' classic go-to sandwich: Turkey, honey ham, and Monterey Jack cheese melted with the basics: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and deli mustard with a pickle spear on the side. While I was grateful that the store was able to substitute my ham for double turkey, I was actually upset, but I was unable to add any of the other add-ons to the sub (they said this wasn't allowed). We got our subs, I could not believe that I just paid almost $15 for what look like two kids size subs with barely anything in them. And that is what the coupon, mind you. Normally this would've costed almost $30 and then today's world, that's just insane . Service is good, it was a bit quiet there, clean restaurant. However, overall, I think firehouse needs to work on their price modelling because there's no way I'm coming back even with the Bogo offer.

The self service, pre-made lunch bentos, sandos and sushi area is fine, but once you need assistance from a worker, it starts getting ridic. How so? You speak to whomever is attempting to assist you OVER and UNDER a twenty-four year old counter area that holds the pastries and/or through a tiny hole in the cabinets. You can hardly make eye contact with the person, because all the pastry is in between where you are standing and where they are standing. Some people are tall, some short, but regardless, there is NO WAY to have a conversation with them. They are trying to see what exactly you are possibly pointing to in the case, but as noted, you're talking thru a case of pastry. This is also true at the Fountain Valley location, where they only have a very small counter to check out with many people standing in line trying to have someone collect their order from the back. Maybe also ask WHY there is never any KINAKO donuts? I was there at 11 am and I got THE LAST ONE! If these are so popular, why don't you make enough to sell throughout the day? Every other time I've been here, you were already SOLD OUT! SMH HAS ANYONE HERE SEEN THE SELF SERVICE process at 85 degrees? All their pastry is individually wrapped and you calmly walk through the SELF SERVICE pastry area with a tray and tongs to help yourself. If you'd like to pass the person in front of you, it's easy and doable because there is plenty of room and it doesn't make anyone feel like you are taking "cuts". Once you get to the end, the cashier totals up your tray and puts it in a bag or box for you. Done & Done. Let me reiterate that your pastry and food are all above par and I know you've been in business since 2002 and let me commend you for 24 years of service, but it's time to CHANGE IT UP to a more user friendly process. It's not appealing to anyone in this busy day and age that there is a line out the door, ONLY BECAUSE THE PROCESS INSIDE NEEDS HELP! It's also more sanitary that the pastry and breads are wrapped ahead of time as I saw a fly inside the case today. Ugh.
