Came here on a Thursday afternoon. Very chill vibes. Not many people. Ordered light Vietnamese coffee decaf and a matcha latte. Matcha latte was ok, nothing stood out. The light Vietnamese coffee though is so good. Haven't felt the coffee hit yet but taste wise it's really good.

Blk Dot Coffee - this spot was everything ! I'm obsessed with the city, the town, and the views, and if I lived here, this would easily be one of my go-to spots. While I was in town, I actually stopped by twice I grabbed a regular iced coffee in the morning to fuel up, then came back later to try their Vietnamese coffee before heading home. This is the kind of place where it truly feels like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service was beyond friendly and super helpful with recommendations and what's most popular. The vibe is really cute, and while the seating area is semi-small, there's still room to sit and enjoy your drink. I ordered the BLK VTM and the Spanish latte with oat milk iced - both were bomb. Highly recommend and definitely a must-stop if you're in the area!

I want to update my review. This place is still amazing. I wanted to give recognition to Robert. He helped me at the register. He such an amazing soul and got to know him more when the establishment was not too busy. This place is still always booming with customers, and I'm happy to be one of them. It's been a while since I've been since work gets busy but it's always a treat to dome here. Mi love how everytime I come, the place smells amazing with drinks and food stirring in the air and the place is always clean and organized. I'm needing to come back and buy more of their merch. It's cute and fashionable for those who love their caffeine. Thank you Robert for serving me and all that you do! You are wonderful!

I like the environment here, its a cute cozy cafe. Staff was nice and quick. Great caffeine stop before disney, i was exhausted but my drink woke me up! I got some sort of cold brew w a sea salt foam top and it was great. Highly recommend for a quick caffeine stop!

Walked in for a quick bite with some friends after a long over night shift. We were tired and barely alive. Every single staff member was so full of life! Immediate mood booster for sure. I opted for the avocado toast and an iced Spanish latte. The coffee was made so damn fast. It was a perfect latte. The toast was absolutely packed with avocado and tomatoes. There was ample seating for our group of 5 and there were still plenty of seats open. It was a quickly spent $18 but I mean, I didn't know where I was at that point and it was delicious. Sold me.

It was my first time at Blk Dot Coffee with a friend today. It has such a chill vibe and the drinks were really tasty. I really enjoyed my Lychee Peach Black Tea and they loaded it up with lychee jelly! The staff were really friendly and there were some comfy seats. I'd love to see a couple chairs outside too!

First time visitor. Loved the spot. I am a big lover of Matcha and wanted something different. Ordered the chocolate, strawberry milk. It was beyond tasty. Must try drink.

What an adorable coffee spot. When the area is full of different spots to get your caffeine fix. I opted for the sea salt jasmine tea. It had orange creamsicle vibes the more I drank it. And I'm addicted to salt cream foam. The salt was definitely front forward in the beginning of this drink. Cool vibes inside this store too and friendly service. Good vibes and highly recommended! PIECES OF PLASTIC BALLS IN MY BOWL?!! My coworkers and I have done orders here a few times and more than once, we have missing items in our order. Not just once, not just one item. But all the drinks items were missing and we only received our food items. I would have said it was the deliverer's part, but since this has happened more than once. I would like to believe it's on Blackdot's part. Even ordering in person, I would feel like the employees would like to get mine or other's orders done with immediately as if brushing ofd engagement with customers, like they wanted to "get us out of the way". Just get a kiosk if you don't want to engage with us and we'll just do self orders. I also want to mention that when I got my food item, there were a few small pieces of plastic balls inside of my item and I nearly ate one of them. How can you serve this and believe this is ok? I keep ordering because the coffee was good, but I don't think I can after both in person and deliveries I've had a not so pleasant experience.

The coffee is delicious when served sweet and creamy and the staff is always nice to adjust your drink if you don't like it. I typically order the Iced Mint Mojito as its fresh, sweet, delicious and comes with fresh mint! This time I opted for the new seasonal Cashew Cocoa. This drink was also delicious, but a little too sweet for me, and if you don't like cashew milk I would opt for a different beverage. The pastries are on the sweeter side, so keep that in mind if you order the almond croissant or cinnamon roll, but the flavor is there. The blueberry muffin was probably my favorite as it was so moist and paired well with my coffee. This Orange establishment is nice and offers games (like most Philz') so you and your friends/family can play, while enjoying a coffee or pastry. The company even offers used coffee ground to take home for your garden - a full recycle moment! The staff is always pleasant and friendly, and each barista usually has a name tag in front of their station. Every time I come in, there are 5 to 6 employees behind the counter, but more than half of them are just standing around talking and laughing. It creates a distracting environment for the few people who are actually trying to work, and it shows in how slow and disorganized everything feels. What really pushed me to write this review is how often the app is completely inaccurate. I'll get a notification saying my drink is ready, only to show up and find that it hasn't even been started yet. Meanwhile, the person who is supposed to be making drinks is busy chatting with coworkers instead of focusing on orders. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's become a pattern, and nothing seems to improve. Long waits, lack of urgency, and poor communication make the whole experience frustrating, especially when you're paying premium prices for coffee. I used to enjoy coming here, but the repeated lack of professionalism and attention to customers has really turned me off. Hopefully management steps in and addresses this, because right now it feels like customers are not a priority at all.

Still, I decided to give this place a second chance (no angry neighbor this time), and I was glad I did! PARKING: There's street parking around the neighborhood - I parked on Almond Ave so I wasn't in front of a house. The spots right outside the shop were 30 minute only. If you can't find parking there's probably tons as you go east if you're willing to walk. WHAT I ORDERED: Pistachio cream cold brew THE DRINK: Amazing. I've had my share of acidic or bitter cold brews, and this was not one of them. The cream was perfectly sweetened and flavored . SERVICE: Exceeded my expectations. The baristas when I came in were very bubbly and answered my questions and gave me suggestions, and were funny too! I wish I got their names, but they were working on Monday early afternoon - I hope they get some recognition. We also got some samples of the food items (which may have swayed me to get the turkey panini next time I come in). Even with the experience I had above a while back ago, I remember going in to let the baristas know and they were very understanding and apologetic, which I really appreciated. VIBES: Probably one of the top coffee shops to get work done in OC. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: So many. Not at the tables downstairs but in the private rooms and at a lot of the seating upstairs. * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Music was a little bit loud but not terrible * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Lotsssss of seats when I came on a Monday late morning-afternoon. Very cool that there were private rooms (which can be reserved two hours in advance if you call them), tables, bar-style seating upstairs, and most importantly, comfy couches!! * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I can't believe I almost missed out on this gem. I have to admit that the Aussie style breakfast is along with different twist on certain things that you wouldn't typically have for breakfast or initially caught my eye. I started off with the golden latte. It was a beautifully balanced turmeric latte with almond milk with a perfect amount of sweetness. Not only was it gut healing, but it's super warming on a chilly morning. While I was looking over the menu, I was between the breakfast burrito since everybody was ordering it or the soft scramble with chili oil. I landed on the soft scrambled chili crunch. It was served with a half avocado and rye toast the others in our party ordered pancakes, bacon, a chicken sandwich and a Yuzu drink. Everything came out in a timely manner and beautifully plated. I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. I cannot wait to go back to Bluestone Lane to try other menu items.
