The food was excellent. My husband and I ate there for a late lunch a few days ago right before checking into our hotel. He got a chicken strip combo. I got a burger and an order of poutine. The chicken strips and plain fries were hot and fresh. Can't really go wrong with those. My burger was delicious, though perhaps a little too pink in the middle for my preference. The poutine was amazing. Super rich and delicious. We paid just 20 bucks for more food than we could eat and it was high quality. We would definitely eat there frequently if we lived in the area. I will say though that there were no female workers there that I could see and all the men behind the counter were kind of unapproachable and not helpful or friendly to guests who had clearly never been there before. We didn't get a smile, a hello or a "do you have any questions". It was past 1pm and so wasn't super busy with a rush or anything so I would have appreciated even a small acknowledgement or polite gesture. Holy smokes. Wanted to go here for a long time and it actually managed to meet expectations. I ordered the Croque Garcon and it was awesome. It was a flavor I didn't expect, something new. My wife got the Block 16 urger and loved it. The patties were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Try the Dragon Fries for sure. My son said the chicken tenders were the best he's had in 10 years. He's 10-1/2 so that's saying a lot. I got a chance to talk to one of the owners and it's evident they really enjoy running this restaurant. read more

I'd love to recommend Certified Transmissions.....especially the location at 132nd and Q........to anyone with a concern or problem with their transmission's performance! Mine had started slipping recently and I decided to take the car in. I was given choices in how to proceed with a repair. I opted for a rebuild being that the car has so many miles on it (original transmission but rebuilt engine with just under 100,000 miles). Kirk, Trinity, and the team got me back to driving my car pretty darned quick and with confidence that I won't have to worry about transmission trouble as long as I have my car! I'm not a vegan, and I was surprised when my boyfriend brought me home food from this place, him not telling me it was vegan until after I ate it! I had no idea. I purchased some bolgona at Walmart at $4.98 lb so I assumed it would be of good quality. OMG!! It was the WORST bologna I have EVER put into my mouth! It was like eating flavorless grease, I LITERALLY had to scrape the greasy crap off the roof of my mouth with a spoon. I don't understand why this place is getting the complliments, all I can think of is that whoever is posting is either family or friends or they have not eaten their own crap. This place was great. Really friendly counter staff and awesome menu. I really appreciate that they have numerous and interesting vegan options. No wait-staff and i imagine it could get quite crowded, but neither of those things bother me...in fact it can be hard to get quick, interesting, healthy, high quality food when you don't have the time and ambition to sit-down at a restaurant so this is a big win. We got the B16 Tartine with sockey salmon, a vegan gyro, and dirty fries. The vegan gyro was great...but the flavors were not at all like a traditional gyro. The dirty fries weren't really my thing. They were interesting, but kind of soggy and not what I was looking for. Eleanor got the salmon and while i thought it was ok (even though I don't really like salmon), she thought it was really great. We will definitely be back. It is rare that I get really excited about a place, but I am really excited to get back and try some of the other options they have. read more

Amazing. No frills type of place -- order in line and they call out your order. The block 16 burger and pulled pork roll are great. Both the regular and sweet potato fries are delish too. Get there early (line was out the door as soon as they opened) and make sure you're hungry. I wouldn't recommend for large groups due to how small the restaurant is and how packed it gets, but there was a group that managed to make it work while I was there. We had the garcon burger... If you are eating healthy, this is not a good selection for you...but if you want to splurge a little, this is as good as it gets! I can see why some famous food critic named it the greatest burger in the USA. Don't pay attention to what is on it or in it...just order it. Your mouth will thank you. This place is small so you need to get there early. People are pretty respectful about leaving their tables asap so others can sit, but even so, there is seating for probably only 40 in the restaurant. Agave Aztec - 132 & Dodge: Me and my 5 friends were REFUSED service 4/10 at 12:30. There was no one at any of the tables or booths but we were told they could not serve us unless we waited for at least 30 minutes because they had their back room occupied. Not once but three other times the "host" made it plain we were NOT going to be served and they were not going to do anything to accommodate us. No problem. We went elsewhere and will NEVER return. I will be going back soon for the Hibachi side looks like they have 3 rooms for 22 people each.
