Love. Love. Love. Another successful lash adventure with bloom. I always love the vibes I get when I come here and the service is always outstanding and the environment comfortable. I had a full set of volume lashes done and I'm so happy with the outcome, usually I go with classic. I also decided to go with a basic hybrid membership so I can come back for a refill in the next four weeks since I usually push out my extensions and end up coming back and having to do a full set all over again. A bit disappointing with the rave reviews. First time getting lash extensions and got a Groupon specifically for this place because of the reviews and wanted to try it out before fully committing. Arrived at the appointment, the door was locked, and five minutes later, the lash tech arrived, casually opened the door and then proceeded not to say a word for another five minutes. Finally acknowledged I was there, asked what I would like and if I had any pictures. The place was empty, I got a classic full set and they looked nice but they all fell off within five days. The whole session took only about 35 minutes. I was glad I didn't pay full price and decided to go elsewhere for future lashes. Since that experience, I've had better luck and have had my lashes last 3-4 weeks with no issues. read more

Sarah is the best! I've been a customer since Bloom was a small business starting up in the original location down the street. I've been a customer on and off for at least a decade and have never been disappointed. Most recently I gave a new local salon my business and was not happy with the end result. I was torn between waiting for the bad lashes to grow out and calling Sarah to confess I'd cheated on her and need her to fix my bad choice. Ok so my eyelid was swollen for 3 days, and since it wasn't going down as I expected, I used a topical steroid cream I had for a different eyelid rash a year before, which brought the swelling down but it was still incredibly rashy and itchy. I called the Bloom salon at 3 pm on Monday to have all the lashes removed and the girl on the phone was sweet, BUT this is what she told me.... "All the technicians are off... because it's a holiday." Me: Sorry? February 10... hm what holiday could that be? "Try coconut oil to take them off" Me: Doesn't work... also tries olive oil and then vaseline... and while a few lashes come off, it burns. "I can't contact the boss because she's out of town so I really can't help you, and I can't guarantee anything." Me: ... So the holiday is your boss is out of town? Hmm... I ended up ordering a lash remover on amazon for next day delivery which worked exquisitely. In case anyone cares, after the lashes were removed I had the eyelid rash for an additional week. If you guys are sensitive like me, make sure to do their lash test (Though If I had time to do this I wouldn't have even gone here in the first place because I would have had time to make an appt with my normal lash girl lol) The 2 stars are for their remarkable unhelpfulness when I called about removing the lashes. read more

Such an amazing little shop. Everyone is so kind and accommodating when possible. I typically work with Tonya but while she has been on maternity leave I have been going to Jen who is equally as amazing. Both women are senior stylists but are easily worth the money. I also had the privilege of going with a newer stylist (I forget her name ) and she did a wonderful job as well. I've had a very bad experience here. My lashes fell off two days after getting them done. Owner offered to fix and they fell off again two days later during my baby shower. Eyes were irritated the whole time. Also over charged my card two months in a row after I immediately asked her that I no longer want their services. Owner did not answer until I threaten to post everything up online. She said she was on vacation. I had to cancel my card. I wrote a more detailed review and it was removed. You've been warned. Front desk girl then acknowledged me and had me fill out waiver, but didn't say who my appointment was with or that she was running behind. Finally Elise or Alyse, not sure of spelling said she would be right with me. She said it was a crazy day, not sure why no one would call to let me know they were behind, I waited for 18 minutes. Anyway, I told her what I wanted and that I wanted noticeable lashes because of the extra skin on my eyelids makes it hard to see my lashes, Anyway, she didn't ask how I was doing or make small talk while applying my lashes, I felt kinda awkward. After she was done she handed me a mirror, my lashes looked very stubby. Needless to say I didn't say anything, but I still gave her a tip. Lashes are longer on one eye than they are on the other. She told me everything I needed to know before booking an appointment and she even recommended me to have my extensions done with Lia! When I came in Lia asked good questions to figure out what I wanted and the outcome was beautiful. My extensions look like my favorite pair of falsies except I won't need those falsies for a while! On a side note: I was worried of having irritated eyes at first but my only irritation was my right eye contact going dry from having my eyes closed. Double check! Bloom switched to a new booking system. I went to their booking appt area on line, however, it told me that they do not use that system anymore and was directed to the new one (Booksy). I preceded to go thru making my selection, and rec'd an email with the appt confirmation (This was made on a Sunday for an appt on Friday). I show up to my appt, but they have no record of my appt. Another gal right when I walked in apparently had an appointment as well but they didn't have record of hers either. I had made the appt in advance as I am attending in a wedding on Saturday (which would be the day after getting lashes done). I have NO time now to try and schedule getting full set lashes done now before the wedding by them or anyone else. If you want to make sure you have an appt - Do not use their on-line system! As soon as I walked in, the place is pretty in pink! There are many insta-worthy pics around! Also, many beds for lash appointments. They provide lots of cleansing after care products for your lashes! Very professional, tidy and clean. I had my natural lashes done by Savannah! Getting ready for my trip to Aruba next week! I got my first eyelash extensions here and have come here a handful of times. I had one bad lash extension experience but I chalked that up to just a bad day and did not think I'd get another. I moved on from that to a lash lift with them once and it turned out okay, I was told the curl would hold better once I got them done more often. My lashes thinned out for sure after that but again I thought maybe it was a natural cycle. So I did, after a few months I went again for a lash lift and I regret it. My eyelashes are FRIED. They are crooked and bent at the ends in weird angles like the pads they used weren't long enough so they just bent them to the side. I can't believe I ruined my lashes and got frizzy branches, they look horrendous. I will never come back here again. It'll take months to repair. They are leaving the solution on for too long and not using the right pads or something because now my lash tips have 90 degree bends facing out like little 'L' s. read more

I've never gotten eyelashes extensions before and my experience here was amazing. The customer service was great, with texts to remind you of and confirm appointments, as well as the friendliest faces when you show up in store. The store itself is so clean and cute! As soon as I walked in, I felt at ease and like I was going to be pampered. I cleaned my own lashes with their lash shampoo, which is pretty cheap and you can buy after your appointment! Afterwards I layed down on a bench that was cushioned and comfy and even had pillows for your ankles! My lash tech, Shelby, was amazing. So nice, so sweet with a calming energy, and very informed about the process. I asked a lot of questions out of curiousity and she obviously knew what she was talking about! My lashes themselves turned out amazing! Thick and fluffy, but not too exaggerated. I've been looking in the mirror for like 5 days straight! I've had minimal shedding, which is nice because I'm kind of active and my face gets sweaty; I thought that might be an issue but nope! The price is comparable to the other lash places in the San Jose area and definitely worth it! I'll attach a pic of what they looked like on the first day! I went here yesterday to get my eyelash extensions for my wedding this coming Friday. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who applied the first half of my Volume Lashes on for me ($50 extra charge for volume having multiple extensions glued onto one lash). She was such a pleasure to chat with - very accommodating and friendly. There was a bit of a hiccup with scheduling as I rescheduled my appointment once before and it was marked in the system from a full set down to a half set. So, my time went from 2 hours to 30-min scheduled. No problem at all, despite me panicking a little at the front desk. I just had 2 different people work on my lashes. The owner was able to work things out with no issues. I am very pleased with my lashes. I can't even tell they're on my lids. I would definitely come here again. [solid 4.5 review] It is safe to say that after my first Bloom Boutique visit today, I am now an eyelash extensions fan-specifically for this location! After purchasing my Groupon deal: MINK eyelashes for $66 (original price $200 something), I was able to schedule an appointment right away for a time and day that worked for me- very convenient, good sign. Drive carefully to your first visit because I completely passed the building today. Refer to my pictures, but the building is a mustard color that has an apartment-like feel. BB is located towards the rear of the building so consider parking behind the building. The boutique itself is quite smaller than I thought, but it feels cozy, a good cozy ;) As soon as I walked in I saw 2 other patrons getting their lashes done. Some may see this as awkward, but it's an eyelash studio, get over it. If you want a private room, all you need to do is request it. Personally, I think the interior is super cute and girly! I was greeted by Cherie who actually performed my service today. I arrive at 11:45 for my noon appointment and was pulled back at 12:10p. The process itself is pretty straight forward. They start off by asking what type of look are you going for and if you have any allergies to the products. From there, Cherie continued to talk about what to expect and that really made me feel comfortable. After securing my lower lashes with a super soft gel tape, we were off to eyelash extension lalaland... The actual application process is quite comfortable-(I almost fell asleep a few times but held back because I tend to breath heavy/snore, lol). With her magic tools, it sounds like Cherie is cutting my lashes but she's actually spreading each hair then applying the extension. She actually showed me the process when we were done which was cool. There was a slight irritation from the glue fumes, but lasted for just a few minutes. When we were done Cheri went over after care instructions and really made sure I understood everything before I left. The best thing about my service is that my eyelids don't feel heavy/weighed down also the length is perfect which means Cheri really listened to what I wanted. I think the one thing I would change for my next visit is having a more comfortable pillow for my head. At one point, I started feeling really dizzy, because it was hard for me to breath lying directly on my back without my head elevated. So if you have difficulty breathing on your back and feel constriction, it's process isn't for you. The beds are not that comfy, I think they should have a little bit more padding especially since your eyelash treatment is about 2 hours... *Total appointment Turn Around Time from check-in to check out: Less than 2 Hours. read more
