VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED! The salon I was going to closed. I wanted to try this place since it was convenient, clean, easy parking, great hours, and, reasonable prices! The gels looked great! I was thrilled! I thought I found my new place! Everyone knows how important it is to have the best! BTW: I NEVER EVER had ANY problems in ten years from gels! My real nails are in great shape! TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! After getting gels done ONLY three times, my nails are completely, "F'd" up! They're ALL split, soft, and I had to cut them down to as short as possible! Now they look awful, and it's going to take a while for them to grow back. Back to finding another place. Not happy. read more

I've been here a couple times and never had a great experience. On my first visit I had a gel ombre nail design done. At first the sponge she was using to apply the ombre was leaving tons of bubbles - I dont think she would have fixed it unless I had pointed it out. I also had a french pedicure that chipped after only a few days but at least my gels lasted almost 2 weeks. Well I went back a couple days ago because it is convenient to my house and I can easily walk over. This time I went for only a gel manicure. I picked out a red-orange color and the manicurist came back with a totally different color and brand then the polish i selected. When I told her why she said the other color was too dark for me - which made no sense bc it wasnt dark on the nail swatch. So I asked her to let me select again. This time I had the color I wanted (I'm pretty sure I picked the same one as the first time). She painted my nails and the experience was fine but after only 3 days my nails are beginning to chip. This is a sign of a bad job since gel nails should last about 14 days. I will be going back to ask the salon to fix these nails (free of charge) and I doubt I will return at this point. read more

Pathetic place! Bogus / FALSE PICTURES on yelp! THEY DONT DO NAIL ART OF THAT KIND. Communication is a BIG problem here. They don't tell you that they charge extra with credit cards and simply swipe it and then tell you about the extra charge. I could have paid with cash had they told me before swiping! No itemized bill given and since they can't speak English properly they are unable to explain the money they charge. read more

This place is extremely clean and they do a phenomenal job for a very reasonable price (particularly compared to the rest of the neighborhood competition). They do everything well and are honest. When I found that my gels were peeling relatively quickly, one of the technicians suggested I stop doing gels for a while to let my nails strengthen again. And she was right! I added on the callous treatment ($10 extra) which was nice but not needed every time. The guy doing my pedi spent extra time to ensure the shape and cuticles were perfect, and went back post-polish with a paintbrush to ensure clean edges. He also gave a great leg massage. I've been here twice. My first time I was impressed by the great service and though the manicure was overpriced I was excited to treat myself again. The second time was a Thursday evening. I walked in without an appointment so I knew there might be a wait. I asked the lady at the front desk if there was and she said no. Then, she had me wait over 10 minutes after picking a color for someone to start my manicure. Half-way through my manicure, my manicurist left to work on someone else. How unfortunate. The customer service in here was appalling!! We came in the other day- and the manager is a terrible grouch- barely looks at her customers and is totally rude. We paid 143 for manicure and pedicures and the quality of the job was bad. We asked for our feet to be redone and they were so pissed we would have the audacity to ask we get what we paid for. Never had I been so happy with a mani pedi, this place is legit. I had a man work on my fingers which came out perfect. He didn't miss one gross dead skin protruding and my nails came out flawless! My favorite part was the attention each finger got. When I neglect my nails, they get dried out and bitten which leads to dead dry skin poking upward and he got them all! Oh my toes... I really enjoy frequenting Blooming Nails! It has been hard to find a "regular" Nail salon on the Westside where you can relax, get great service, feel comfortable and receive a Grade A mani/pedi. The staff is organized and work in a timely, welcoming manner. From what I have also noticed it's a fun place to come with kids and Families also enjoy getting pampered here. The staff also offers great services to make you enjoy your experience and I can easily say I look forward to getting my nails done here every time. I had read all the reviews but thought going for a basic pedicure wouldn't be too challenging. Well, I will not be coming back. The manager yelled across the room to me when I entered after first ignoring me, the nail technician was clearly disgruntled and unhappy because she barely said anything to me and was very rough and then someone walked in who seemed to be well-known to the employees so my technician rushed me out. All of a sudden, she put my shoes on the second she finished putting the polish on (I'm not even sure if she put on a top coat) instead of letting me wait there until they dried. I have come here a few times because it is so conveniently located right next to my daughter's ballet class. However, the service is not so good. The ladies that work here are very rude and they may say you have to wait 10 minutes, but in reality you end up waiting 40 minutes. They have also been rude to my daughters multiple times. I'm a frequent customer in this fairly new establishment - love the fact they can recognize return customers therefore that extra attention is there. Decent prices - cost equates the quality of work. Very clean & chill setting since it's never crazy busy. Never had to wait longer than 15-20 minutes vs. than the last establishment in this space or the one across the street. They carry CDL polishes - better choice if vying to avoid a gel mani or the basics Essie or OPI - it promises to last for a week which is true for the majority of the time. My fav nail place. Not crowded and very clean. As they just opened, all their equipment is new. I love the chair massage while getting my service. Their basic mani pedi combo is $30 which is $10 more than the other place across the street but it's more than worths it! They do very good service and the result lasts much longer than the cheap competitor's service. If you live in the area definitely should check out this place. PS: they have new CND nail polish (not gel!) which is extra $5 but it really stays much longer than the regular one. read more

I went for powder dip nails. They do it with an Opi product. They are extremely thick, and not tapered at the cuticles. My nails are full of fingerprints from seeing if they are dry and my cuticles are awful. They say it dries in 5 minutes but it is more like 15 minutes. They put an additional coat of top coat on to pick up th shine and perhaps hide the fingerprints and while they are wet, she kept shoving the credit card at me to sign while my nails were wet. The manager just wanted her $50 and couldn't care less about the quality of the manicure. This is the worst manicure I have ever had. read more

I went in for a mani pedi - not only did they do a bad job at them (my nails chipped almost immediately), they also gave such an attitude when I asked them to clean it up. I ended up leaving with nails that aren't cleaned up because I was so tired of having to fight for a decent service. They also cut a chunk of skin off my friends cuticle and made it bleed a lot. I feel like their prices have gone up or they sneak in extra costs. But still best in town.

I've been coming to Blooming Nails for almost four years and love it more and more as the years go by. They are great for walk-ins and appointments. They have a great assortment of polish colors and keep everything very clean. I'm very particular about the shape of my nails and cuticles and they pay such great attention to both.
