This is my second time coming to Top Town Nails. I love how close to home this little nail salon is. I came the first time back in April. They did an amazing job of taking care of nails "Prom Ready" I've also noticed how much my nails grew as well! I just had to go back for the reasonable price of a Mani & Pedi for a total of $38! Can't beat that price around Brentwood. They are a cash-only place! The girls are lovely and friendly! I don't always get my nails done but I have for sure became a regular! I love my nails Top Town! I would not recommend this place! First of all I arrived on time for my appointment with Tracey (owner) and she was in the middle of doing some else's nails, I wouldn't have minded so much if she had apologized but she didn't. Tracey said she would be 10 minutes but she was more like 20 minutes, as an after thought after I'd been waiting 10 minutes approx already she asked for one of the other ladies to have me stick my fingers in ascerton, (not had to do that for a while). Prior to my appointment too I had explained very clearly what I needed doing - 2 tips (explaining they were my own nails with hard gel on top) and my nails (2) had split and that I had another one the same which she was adamant she could repair without putting a tip on. Tracey said $15 on the phone and nothing had changed from when I had phoned to make the appointment, then when I was there she said it would be $30 instead of $15 for 2 tips and a fix. Once Tracey had repaired my nails she then had another lady apply the gel. Very nice of her to apply gel on all of my nails but I had forgotten you can't just wipe the nails with alcohol and then apply the gel, guess what in a matter of a few days the gel has started to come off. Even my nail, which had the tip the gel has chipped off already. The nail Tracey said she could fix without applying a tip came off within a week too. Nice place. But definitely way over priced. I was charged $40 just for a simple pedicure with normal nail paint. My toes look nice but the price for only one job is simply outrageous. Also this is a cash only place. They should have a sign up or at least let the customers know. Not everyone is comfortable Zelle people. I definitely learned my lesson no more going to new nail salons I think I'll stick to weho. read more

I came here every two weeks while I was a grad student at UCLA and it's a favorite because they are so friendly (family owned) it's right where Sepulveda exits to the 405 (so a great place to wait for traffic to calm) and they have ample free parking (You have to be a dean or president to get free parking near UCLA). Also, my manicures last forever here and they grow long because they don't over buff and use good products. I just stopped by today because I had a Sunday meeting in Westwood and they remembered me and told me they always wondered where I went. I just graduated or I would still be there every two weeks. Good to know: it is cash only but if you become a regular you can just write a check if you forget cash. Very clean and mellow place, have seen celebs in here (and they were quietly chatting up nail techs like old friends, because they probably are). Very quiet, peaceful and lovely salon with very normal prices. read more

I was just reading the reviews when I was about to leave mine, and I couldn't believe it when I read the crazy one written by Simone. It just so happens that I had been at the salon having a manicure when she came, and I will never forget how rude and crazy she was to everyone who worked there! She said it was her first time, and when one of the ladies asked her name, she very nastily replied that she already told them when she walked in. And when another asked her what she would like done, she snapped back saying that she already told them over the phone. Everyone in the salon was looking at one another, shocked by how bizarre, erratic, and unkind this woman was to the manicurists. I have been coming to Top Town Nails for weekly manicures and bi-monthly pedicures for almost 30 years, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Tracey (the owner) is probably one the kindest human beings I've ever known, and she gives an excellent manicure at very affordable, fair prices. The salon is always clean, the ladies working there are always pleasant and accommodating, and the parking is very easy. Tracey probably has more longterm clients than anyone I know, and it's because she is such a gem, as is her entire staff, and her services are top notch! I love top town nails!! The location is very convenient for me and I really love the ladies who work here. It doesn't seem like a mill. Their work is good and they're nice. There's always parking. I get a great back massage while I'm there ( $15). Highly recommend it!!!! read more

I usually go to a place i know, but decided to take a chance because i needed to get my nails done for a wedding that day. I got them done about four hours before the wedding, so i was not in a rush. By the time i went to the wedding, the nails on my right hand were all tinted orange. I have had acrylics for 6 years now and have never seen a set so bad. They were peeling within two days and were absolutely awful looking. The price was also pretty high. When i left they looked alright, nothing spectacular. All i can say is good luck. read more

Top Town Nails is a neighborhood gem and we are lucky to have them here in Bel Air. The staff is friendly and do their work with care. The venue is clean and well located. Tracy and her family have been there for years and often greet their customers by name and inquire about their family and friends. For walk ins you sometimes have to wait but inevitably you will run into someone you know which makes it worthwhile. read more
